I had a courteous experience, it was not a long wait and I was able to get my new registration and file for a new title. All the staff was helpful and pleasant to work with.

Middle of the road here. Between the customer services issues and the fact I had to drill down to my own private aquifer to avoid another rate increase.

But. I learned and gained something much more valuable. That city living just isn't for me.

Thanks to the unfriendly, but magnificent staff controlling this office. Although our time was short together I will take the lessons I learned here with me my entire life!!!

I was in a LONG line in April so I had told myself need to go first thing in the A M. So I went back today Sept on a Friday early thought I would be in a long line NO I wasn't thought I would have to come back or do something else but NO Ms Lindsey Parker was AWESOME she was very nice thought full I did enjoy the experience that I had today FIVE STARS for sure

The place is Great fast service and staff very friendly. I was out in 5 min.

Was paying my taxes

They closed the door in my face and told me they were closed and walked away without a care in the world. Stuck a craw in my mouth as they are also closed on Monday and could have helped one last guest!

The staff needs training on customer service and work on being kind to others. I've noticed how they treat people rudely if they have questions or don't have the information ready when they meet at the desk. My wife and I have experienced this as well when we first came in.

I got a loan to purchase a car through a dealership I know personally, I brought the title in to have it mailed to the lien holder when I went to register my car on March 28th. I get a letter in the mail from my lienholder stating they have not received the title so I called this tax collector office this morning and she says oh she should’ve told you it’s an 8 to 10 week wait through the title bureau. However if the lien holder doesn’t receive that title within a certain amount of time the entire loan can be revoked!!! That information would have been useful to know from the start however the lady who I gave it to and paid for my registration did not tell me any of that information. Extremely unprofessional.

The clerks that work in this office are terrible human beings. They discriminated against me. They gave me hard time last year when registering business vehicles and this year. For no reason. Telling me my vehicles don’t have NH plates when she had the registrations in her hand. When she realized that she was wrong she said “someone told them that my business isn’t located in NH.” I gave her a business letter head last year when they did the same thing to me. I told them whoever said that my business wasn’t located at the address on the registration lied. I presented the same letter from last year with NH address and she required that I present a lease. All 4 Clark’s agreed with each other. I had to leave and get the lease. When I came back with the lease she said it was residential rental when in fact it wasn’t. She eventually registered the vehicles even though she did her best to prevent me to do business in NH. I’m sure they wouldn’t give me hard time if I looked like them. Everyone else was coming and going within minutes except me.

I've never experienced such a nasty group of old female state employees. Some reason only one of them ever seems to be doing any work. Just standing in line you see them pick the phone up and put it back down instantly to hang up on whoever is calling. No sorry we are to busy to take calls right now, just out right hang up.

Every single time I have to go in here to register vehicles, pay water/sewage, property tax, anything, I'm meant with rudeness right out the gate. These nasty old hags need to be replaced.

Epping, Dover, concord, and the various other states I've lived treat you much better than these awful witches.

Grumpy and rude. Terrible service for young generation who have questions and are new to things. I had to go back multiple times because they keep sending me away and saying i needed something more. Even when I ask multiple times if that was all I needed. Easily irritated and not friendly.

These people are doing a disservice to the city of Rochester. Worst attitude I’ve ever encountered. I waited and when my turn came up the lady treated me like a nuisance. Disgusting to say the least...

I have to agree with all these reviews and it has been this way for years!!!! I hate going in there, I dread it every time. Working in customer service, I don't understand how they still have jobs. So many friendly people out there looking for work!
