Excelente location near town and airport. Great service, very good timing in between serves. Antique decoration, good lighting it gives a historic look. Big portions and amazing prices. Plus a cigar area next to restaurant.

Came here last night for my Birthday, nice quaint setting, I had shrimp cocktail, my husband had the potato skins & crab cakes for appetizers, for dinner, I had the Prime Rib, baked potato, my husband had the Schlesinger's steak, steak fries, OMG both pieces of meat were PERFECTLY cooked, our waitress was SUPER sweet, definitely coming back, thank you for the desert for my Birthday, really made dinner more special

Awesome steaks (and pickles) reasonably priced (pickles are free) and very courteous service. Cozy place for a date or business casual dinner (or semi-private rooms to book for events). Steaks are juicy and cooked to perfection and portion sizes are generous. One of the better steakhouses in the Hudson Valley. Once you're full, you can continue that tax-deductible business dinner at the attached cigar bar with a wide selection of cigars and spirits.

Love the place! Service is awesome, the waiter was attentive and was very pleasing. Steak was great! Ambiance was cozy! Had a good time, I'll be coming back again for sure!

If you like steaks, drinks, and cigars this is the place for you. The staff is great. Everyone is friendly while also attentive. I wasn't lucky enough to check out the beach yet (outdoor area complete with bars, sand, and a stage), but that just means we'll be back.

Amazing food, cool seating outside, loved it. And portions were insane. AND they gave us a jar of pickles! We can't wait to go back!

This was my 1st time here and I was highly satisfied. I ordered the French Dip Au Jous which was delicious and cooked perfectly. The french onion sauce on the side complemented the sandwich well. The bread was also nice and crispy. The service was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The interior was neat and has kept a nice historic charm dating back to the structure being built in the 1700s. Highly enjoyed this restaurant and would come back here again.

This is a really nice place. I couldn't really tell from the outside and the location but this place surprised me inside. It's kind if small for an intimate setting but also has a lot of room for seating. Three atmosphere and music was great at well. Loved the old music that was playing. The service was really good too. The prices aren't cheap but The food was good so no complaints there. Overall it was a great experience for my 1st time and I'll definitely be back. Have to tell a few friends about this place!

Take-out from Schlesinger's. Who would have ever thought, but I have eaten there 20+ times and every single time, it was the best steak and ribs around. Today, we drove by and saw their OPEN for pickup sign; $15 Steak Dinner, so we ordered online from the parking lot and 20 minutes later, we had dinner to go. I Didn't order steak, but the ribs were top shelf that just fell off the bone and the wings were, without a doubt, the best wings I have ever had. Tender, but the skin had a nice crunch. Not just saying that. Take a look at my reviews. If the place sucks, that what I say. 5 star ratings aren't handed out easily, they are awarded. BEST TAKE-OUT AROUND. And it only cost 30 bucks?

We have been eating here off and on for years. Food consistently good, service good too. Went there tonight for lobster special and were served a ton of food. Priced right, very enjoyable. Waitress (Tanya?) gave us just the right amount of attention.

A+ all the way. Starting with the pickles which are very very good, and I love that they don't fill me up before my meal. This was my husband's choice because he wanted meat, but my salad was delicious, loaded with walnut halves, and I ordered it with shrimp which were large, juicy and scrumptious. My husband reported that his steak was perfect and the taste he gave me confirmed it. The night we went the dining room was busy, and the room filled with happy voices that made for a very enjoyable evening.

Last family dinner of our show. Phenomenal service. Gorgeous Rare Prime Rib. Lovely green beans, sauteed spinach, and mushrooms. Succulent bacon cuts, potato skin, huge shrimp cocktail, and crab cakes. Generous dessert of key lime pie. So many good things about the meal. Thanks a bunch.

Honestly, the only bad part of my experience at this wonderful restaurant is that I've lived in the area for over a decade and just discovered it.

The food is quality, and the steaks are supreme. Every person working with us was polite and savvy, and I finished with a Harvey Wallbanger at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful.

This place is highly recommended.

Ok so the restaurant area is nice, family friendly, great staff... but if you're a cigar lover like me, just sit by the cigar bar area, there are tables and you can order food there as well... now I had a Ribeye steak and it was great, perfectly cooked, you don't even need A1 sauce on it, its nice and juicy and seasoned well. The garlic mash was good too but ask for a little butter with it. We also had the wings, honey BBQ, teriyaki and mild, I recommend the teriyaki, it was good and had a little spice. The sauce on the wings is delicious and they don't over do it with the sauce so you can enjoy the wings. The cigar room has a nice variety and doesn't hit you over the head with prices. We ended up spending over 4 hours here because of the great ambiance and the friendly staff. Highly recommend going here.

I’d say I’m moderately picky about restaurants. I’m happy to give this place 5 stars. Service was fast, food was delicious (a little heavy on the olive oil on Caesar dressing and Brussels sprouts) I had filet mignon which was melt in the mouth, and I considered it all very affordable. The ONLY thing I wasn’t crazy about is the atmosphere feels a bit crowded and loud, but probably because the place is so popular! Would definitely go back or recommend to a friend for group/family friendly get together a for amazing food and service!

Top notch steakhouse that rivals any steakhouse in the Tri-state area. The service is always fast and friendly (Raymond is a great waiter). Their crab cakes are the BEST you will find anywhere and that includes Maryland! Their steaks are always perfectly cooked no matter how you order them. And when you're done, you can wander over to the cigar bar for a after dinner drink and a great stick. I've never had a bad experience or meal in the 9+ years that I've been going there

Service from Raymond was great. The pickels and breads were good for starters. We had such a nice time Tuesday evening celebrating a birthday for Andrew , son number 2. The steaks were all delicious. The french onion soup was good , not too salty. I had the special ,chicken soup it was delicious, with some spice I never had before. One dish was shrimp stuffed with crab, that we gave an okay. If you want a great steak this is the place to go.

Excellent service, food was great. Prices were about average for the area, after all, this is NY where they have some of the highest tax rates in the country, the prices may be higher than what what I pay in other parts of the country, but so are the other local restaurants in the area. The prices are reasonable for the quality and amount of food you get. Did I mention the service was excellent...very attentive wait staff.

The atmosphere, the food, the staff!!! Schlesinger's was perfect through and through. Huge shout out to our waiter Barry L. for an amazing experience and helping to make our romantic night out (we had no kids, that doesn't happen often) next to perfect. Highly recommended as is the Pub steak.
