Once Upon A Child - Wappingers Falls

Since the New owners have taken over , the store is wonderful! It's nice to see the people behind the store. Also the workers seem to love being there. I notice them talking and conversation with each other and the customers in a very friendly matter. Also the store is Clean! Very inviting to come in. My girls are getting older, I am still able to find unique items for them. LOVE this place, I have nothing bad to say about it. I will continue to send people there.

I needed some gifts for a relative in the tropics and most of the summer things were gone. Alicia was so helpful. She showed me different areas to look, and then she went into the back to find even more items. I am do grateful that such a positive and willing salesperson was able to help me and make my trip such a success. Many thanks for the excellent service!

This store is clean, filled with amazing items, and extremely organized. I am in awe of how neatly they hang and organize the children’s clothes by size so it is easy to find whatever you may desire. They had the exact stroller we wanted and it was in amazing condition for a great price. I would recommend coming to this location for gently used items for babies or kids.

From the moment I walked in to the time I left, I had a great experience. Adriana was so helpful. They're buying process is quick and easy. The selection of items is amazing! Toys, clothes, shoes.. Who knew you could find Tom's and Sperry shoes for kids? If you have children and haven't been there, you are missing out!!

My daughter and I love shopping at Once Upon a Child. We always find great items in excellent condition at a fair price. We hate buying new when we can find gently used items at a fraction of the cost. The store is always super organized and the staff are hard working and friendly.

I’m shocked at the low ratings! Every time I have been in this store I’ve been immediately greeted with a smile and asked if I need help with anything. I never experienced “rudeness”. The owner is so sweet and she always starts a conversation. The workers are incredibly nice as well! I will never stop coming here, I got a beautiful Montessori walker which goes for almost $80 online for just $25! No scratches or dents. Honestly in perfect condition. It’s sad to hear there is staffing issues because If I personally could I would work here in a heart beat! Beautiful toys and beautiful clothes. 10/10 will be coming here for years to come!

I had to write my own review because I see a lot of negative reviews and I simply have not had that experience. The staff is always kind, upbeat and helpful. They have a huge assortment of clothes, toys, etc. in excellent used condition at an amazing price. They also have quite a few brand new items. Don’t hesitate to stop in, you will surely find some great treasures here!

Love Once upon a child! I have been shopping here for years now. Staff is always sweet and welcoming. The prices are reasonable and I love that I can sell the things my children have grown out of instead of just throwing them away.

We had a great shopping experience at Once Upon A Child yesterday! We found like-new clothes and shoes for our kids that they picked out and will actually wear and saw that there was so much more in the store! Toys, maternity clothes, books, and even bikes outside. We'll definitely be back soon!

I can’t relate to these negative comments I brought two grocery plastic bags full of baby clothes left with 90$ they didn’t take a lot of my older kids stuff however guess the sizes were too big. Also, I buy stuff from here all time and the cashier is always nice . They text me when they have sales I think that’s pretty awesome . I called one time for a bumbo seat the person on the phone knew exactly what I was talking about .

I always enjoy buying things for my daughter at Once Upon a Child. They have a wide variety of baby/toddler items to choose from and they're always clean and in very good condition. I often wait till there is a sale of some sort to buy new items or to sell older items and get store credit. I don't see myself needing to shop elsewhere for baby things.

Had my first experience here recently. Staff were friendly and helpful, clothing was ultra-organized, and I had lots of choices. Oh, and clothing was dazzlingly clean!

I love this store. Yes they are teenagers who are working but they always tell me great things about my items. most the time if they do not take my items it's because they do not have a high demand for the size or style. they have never stole my batteries. me and my husband go there all the time more to sell stuff then to buy and they have been helpful. I do take my batteries out of my items and tell my husband to bring some just in case they need to see it work. everything that OUAC does not take I bring to JUSt For Kids 2 in redoaks mills.

My daughter and I Love shopping at your store for my grandchildren. We've been shopping here for a few years now. I've learned over the years it's not practical or cost efficient buying brand new, ( a few new outfits are always nice ). I've only had one little incident that caused me to drop my purchases that I had in my hand ~ , there was a Big Bug on the inside of an adorable coat I was buying for my grandson. To the stores defense ~ the coats were outside on racks. More likely than not, I'm pretty sure it wasn't something overlooked by the staff,. However BUGS Creep me out. Lol.. Also we haven't had much luck with consigning our clothes. I'm definitely ok with that, I have no problem donating to friends or family members.. KEEP UP THE HIGH STANDARDS.

It is a very addictive store. You cannot leave the store without purchasing something. It is a very good store to visit. The store is very organized and the staff is very helpful. I plan to visit as often as I can, now that I have three grandkids under the age of four. Only problem I have is that it is far from where I live.
