The Barber Lounge

I cannot say enough good things about The Barber Lounge! My husband has been going to Jesse for a while now, and our son just turned one so we booked his first haircut with Jesse. To say we were impressed with how he handled a one year old cut and also how he accommodated us by providing “entertainment” (he whipped out an iPhone tripod and played our sons favorite YouTube - GENIUS) - just wow. Not to mention he is so friendly and kind. Thank you so, so much for a wonderful experience and anyone considering booking with Jesse - do it!

I haven't had a professional haircut in over 20 years. A few months back Jahaira (Yaya) consulted with me, and made me feel very comfortable with my ideas and my options. I have a bald/thin spot on my crown, I've learned to accept it but I didnt want to glorify it either. 7 months after my single consultation, Yaya not only remembered me but almost everything we had spoken about and basically knew what I wanted. All in all, I bit the bullet and she hit a bulls eye. I walked out with what I had envisioned. Thanks for everything!

Amazing people. So kind. It felt so personal. Felt right at home on the first visit. The cut was excellent. They know what they’re talking about. I felt like a new man when I left.

This is absolutely the best barber shop around. We moved about 45 minutes away and tried to find a place for our son’s haircuts even almost as good. After four separate attempts at places closer to us we gave up. We now happily drive down to Roderick to get his hair cut once every two or three weeks. The place itself is clean and well maintained. Everyone is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable as well. We’ll be making this drive for as long as our 11 year old needs his mom to take him for haircuts!

The best experience I’ve ever had bringing my 12 year old son for a haircut. Great atmosphere and incredibly friendly people. The barber, Rod, was amazing - not only did he spend a couple of minutes asking my son how he wanted his hair (giving him options and suggestions rather than just relying on him to explain it himself), he actually took an interest in him and they talked about sports and video games for a bunch of the time. And it was a fantastic haircut too - exactly what he wanted! So glad we stumbled upon them after trying about 10 or so other shops that didn’t work out. Can’t wait to go back!

Such a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is great, the shop is clean and nicely decorated. All of the staff are friendly and professional. Jesse cut my hair and the results were not just good, they were exceptional. He listened to what I wanted, asked questions to make sure he understood what I was looking for and then gave me a cut that I absolutely love. I've already gotten so many compliments. Barbers Lounge is hands down the BEST barbershop in the area! As a female walking into a “man’s space” I NEVER feel out of place taking my son there. They are always welcoming and treat you like family. The shop is always clean and well put together. Will never allow my husband or son to go anywhere else 🤣

Jesse is THE BEST! First the shop is immaculate, very high class. You feel like a VIP. Jesse and every barber in house are so professional. It’s totally a vibe. Cynthia did an amazing job trimming and shaping my curly hair. She asked question about what I wanted and talked me through options. Very patient and sweet.

Best hair cut I’ve ever had. Roderick did an amazing Job and was a master of his craft. Awesome place. Very friendly service, fun music and football on TV.

If you're not getting your haircut or beard work done here, then you're going to the wrong place. Roderick has a true passion for his craft and it shows. He made more than the typical "how's it going" conversation and took the time to listen to what I wanted. 10 out of 10 recommend and I will return.

Really nice place inside. I had Darby cut my hair. Currently she's apprenticing as a barber, she's a natural though and did a great job and had good conversation. Would recommend to others.

Very clean and uncluttered space, well decorated with luxurious seating, including the barber chairs. I was impressed by the care given to meeting my requests and giving the best looking haircut within those parameters. The providers that helped me- Darby and Jesse- were warm and welcoming, and didnt force small talk which was another big plus for me. At a slightly higher price point than some competitors, you get the job done right and you dont leave with an itchy shirt.

Love Jesse from the Barbers Lounge! My husband, father, son-in-law, brothers-in-law, all go to him for the wonderful job he does with their hair! My son, when he comes up from NC, always makes an appointment with Jesse so he can get a “real haircut”!

Just recently I had to have a serious surgery and they had to cut my hair in the hospital. Well Jesse knew how badly I was feeling about that as my hair looked awful. Well, just as soon as it was safe to do so, he came to the house and cut my hair in a new style that was much better managed. I love it! Now I think the women in my family will also be using him for their short hair style cuts! He does a great job!

Glad to have finally found my go to barbershop. Everything is super sanitary and the remodel of the shop has a really cool feel to it including the smart inclusion of TVs everywhere. Roderick is an excellent barber and takes his craft very seriously. If you get your beard done, they also have the full hot towel experience which I highly recommend!

Fantastic place for a hair cut. I’ve usually always gone to either a great clips type place, never been to a place that considers themself a barbershop. But I was impressed. Cynthia was fantastic, and gave me a great haircut. I’ll be making this place my usual from now on.
