Access Physical Therapy & Wellness

My first experience with Access Physical Therapy in Montgomery NY was last summer after I had fallen and dislocated my ankle and broke my fibula. After my ankle healed and I had gone through the physical therapy for that, I decide that I might as well have a total knee replacement done that I had been postponing for so long. I knew that the PT was not going to be easy and that it would be long. I certainly was not expecting the phenomenal kind of care that I received from the Montgomery staff. Kim and Becky always welcomed me with a smile and handled all the insurance coordination required. They also worked out a schedule that would fit my schedule and was always willing to work out changes if needed. Kevin, who is the director of the facility, designed a program that helped me regain almost all of my range of motion for my knee. He was extremely easy to talk to and always took an interest in sharing many of his life experiences as well as showing an interest in mine. Now I knew that the PT for my knee would be very difficult. But with the staff at Montgomery, my time there was absolutely wonderful. The atmosphere was very light and pleasant. While doing the therapy we would be listening to music and challenging each other as to the title of the song and the artist. I got to know each therapist quite well during my time there. I will remember Adam as the guy who was very sharp in his knowledge of music as well as sharing various techniques to help my PT. Katey, to me, is such a warm and caring person with a great smile. She always asked how I was feeling and took every effort to make me comfortable as I went through my workout. Anna definitely made my therapy fun. While she is very proficient at what she does, just like they all are, she has the most wonderful sense of humor. Bottom line is that I could never have asked for any better people to work with. Having gone through so many months of PT, I consider them like family. As I am finishing up my therapy, I know that I will miss each and every one of them.
Anyone, and I mean anyone, who is in need of physical therapy, don't miss the opportunity to work with this amazing group of people. You will not regret going to Montgomery PT. They are the best of the best.

My Access journey started at the Montgomery location. I was recommended by coworkers and I’m glad I followed through. The minute you walk in it’s such a warm and welcoming place. Kim and Becky are simply the best. I hadn’t seen Kim since I was a teenager at the eye doctor office and she remembered me like it was yesterday not 20 years ago. They’re more than just receptionists they will do anything they can to help. These wonderful ladies never stop working. Kevin is an amazing leader and therapist. Throughout my journey there many other therapists have come and gone but Kevin is always the constant. Kevin is a huge advocate for Access after I needed additional therapy and I wasn’t able to get it there he recommended OT at the Goshen location. Kevin takes huge pride in making his clients happy and he’s a staple in the community. He really gets to know you and your family. Kevin has definitely become more than just a therapist to me he’s become a friend. Kevin always brings in top notch and quality therapist to work with him. His team is eager to treat and they’re eager to constantly improve. I’ve even been to this location for vestibule therapy as well. Access is very lucky to have Kevin and his team. I’ve seen improvements after all 3 of my surgeries thanks to Kevin. I still need therapy and I know where I’ll continue to come. No matter how my therapy journey goes Kevin is the foundation that led me to having an incredible experience. Access is definitely not just a therapy company they truly care about their patients.

After a knee replacement and in home therapy I finally started driving again. Access Therapy was my first trip, need to get my muscles and leg back to normal. The staff are all very nice and
friendly and good at their job.
A little more than three months after my surgery I had my last day with Access. I was glad for all the helping had from the whole staff. They made me work but I made the best of it and I feel great now walking with no pain

I can’t express enough about how great this place is. All of the therapist are excellent. Their kindness and attention to each individual patient is impeccable. I was sent their with a broken knee cap and I’m still a current patient. From the first day I knew I picked the best place to recover and get my mobility back. I look forward to being back to normal and maybe stronger then before. If you want to find a place that cares about your recovery then this is the place for you. I recommend it highly!!!! The staff at Access Physical Therapy and Wellness have been wonderful. The therapists are knowledgeable, provide excellent care and listened to my questions and concerns. They are positive and encouraging, especially when I was having a tough day after my surgeries. I have been to both the OT and PT side of the clinic and highly recommend the facility for your rehabilitation and maintenance. The assistants and front staff go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and genuinely care about you.

All staff members at Access Physical Therapy were personable, knowledgeable, & genuinely cared for my well being. My therapists always treated me on time and with respect. Their personal attention to my specific need & expertise greatly eased my pain. I would definitely recommend this Montgomery facility.

I have a vestibular dysfunction that I thought I would never improve. Megan has been incredible with helping through this. I can confidently go for a drive or walk through a grocery store without the fear of falling. The overall staff is amazing. Thank you everyone!

All the staff from the therapists right down to reception are great here! If the PT plan they make doesn't work for you, they eagerly search for another that will. Everyone is friendly, fun, and personable which makes a great experience. They teach you exercises that you can easily continue at home to get well and stay well.

All staff is friendly and helpful. As a patient, they give you reminders about your upcoming appointments. When there is a cancellation, they also let you know about it.

Access Physical Therapy in Montgomery, NY is outstanding! The therapists are knowledgeable, thorough, and truly care about you. They are compassionate, yet push you where you need to be. I have been going there since I tore my ACL and they had me up and moving within 72 hours of surgery. The staff there is also very knowledgeable and always work with your schedule to ensure you get in when it is convenient for you. THANK YOU ACCESS!

Very knowledgeable staff with good personalities. I had a fractured ankle that required surgery and the staff did an excellent job getting my range of motion, strength, flexibility and proprioception back. They give good feedback and ask questions about the therapy your receiving.

After my ACL surgery, access helped me get back on my feet! The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I always looked forward to PT, they made it fun and kept me smiling even when I was in terrible pain. It was so comforting to be surrounded by people who genuinely cared about my progress and would go the extra mile to help me reach my recovery goals. Thank you Access!!!

Best service, compassion, understanding of conditions and great follow-up. You feel taken care of...and if you want humor it is freely given. But the professionalism is what I have found the overall experience and really five stars fall short of what I got from the Staff at Access Physical Therapy and Wellness..they deserve 10's!

They even helped working around my childcare needs to make sure I was scheduled for the frequency and duration as required by my doctor. Montgomery access physical therapy & wellness really helped me get back to where i needed to be. I have sprained my ankle twice in the past 3 years and they are able to get me back into top physical condition so that i am able to continue with my regular life. I am very athletic and the injuries go hand and hand with the sports. But they are able to get me back to the sports i love to play.The Montgomery office and their staff are the best out there and i am very great full towards them.

I can't say enough about the staff and care I received at Access Physical Thereapy. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I have been there several times for different injuries and was treated as an individual each and every time. Their concern was up and above perfection. I could write a book on the staff and their knowledge in this field. I would not go any place else when I need therapy. Don't hesitate to check them out before you go anywhere else. You will be in good hands for sure. The envirement is very up lifting to say the least.

This is my first time ever getting physical therapy, so I had no frame of reference or expectations. Sara was an amazing therapist. She took the time to understand my situation and provided both in-office and at-home exercises. After only a few treatments, I feel significantly better, and know that I'm on the road to a speedy recovery from my torn hamstring. Kelly at the front desk is extremely knowlegable, and a pleasure to deal with. I would definitely recommend Access PTW in Hawthorne.

In a word -- fantastic. The staff was knowledgable, friendly and professional. Access Physical Therapy was clearly superior to other PT places I had been to, and I will not hesitate to return should the need arise.
