Been going here since I was a kid and they never fail with the best tasting ice cream!!! Their soft serve is so light and so fluffy. I look forward to going there every summer. Even their hot food hits the spot just right.
Richards is a Montgomery, New York staple. Love sitting out by the pond in every now, and then you might catch the swans in the distance. Richards is just the best!

I ordered 3 ice cream and one of them was a flavor I didn't order but thanks God I liked it and my babies too. I think they have the best ice cream I have ever try. My girls did love it. They only accept cash wish is a lil difficult for me because I always use debit card. But I guess I will always get cash just to go to this place lol. Oh I wish they have slide and swing for kids entertainment.

BEST Local Ice Cream Stop! Milkshakes are phenomenal! Daughter says the BEST BANANA SPLITS IN THE WORLD! I can second that. She let me have just a little but it was amazing! Be sure to tip the staff! They out here always working hard. Everything priced fairly! Great quality product here! Support local!

This ice cream shop has a great assortment of ice cream, soft serve, and sundaes. I had the ET sundae, and OMG, it was unbelievable. The soft serve flavor is unlike any I have ever had. It is almost like a frozen custard, it is smooth and silky. I am a chubby guy, and I couldn't finish a large. They have an assortment of traditional toppings and sundaes, but also have a large selection of specialty toppings and sundaes. The staff here is super friendly and the prices are reasonable. And lots of parking. There is lots of choices for kids, adults, and even doggies.

It is exceptional customer service to respond with kindness and a solution. I am happy to change my rating to 5 stars and look forward to returning for snacks & ice cream with my family!

Original Review: They serve ice cream in soda cups... I don't care for it. Paid for toppings and barely got any because it's in a dixie soda cup.

The ice cream is very good. There are lots of flavor choices.

Stopped by in the late afternoon and got my fur baby a pup cup as a treat for his 11th bday. He absolutely loved it!! We also got the rum raisin and cherry vanilla were both delicious too. They also have a nice sitting area. Will come back again if we're in the area.

Ice cream was delicious, service was great! We called right around closing because my friend lost her keys, and they were all very helpful!

The best ice cream hands down and my wife is a connoisseur of ice 🍦 and she says it's the best around and I agree 💯 we tried your cheeseburgers and onion rings and they were out of this world keep up the great work 💪 and the staff and workers are very friendly a nice family place.

Have passed this place many times when visiting the kids and never got a chance to stop. So glad I finally did!!! Great flavor! I got a vanilla milkshake (always try vanilla the 1st time, because if they can do that flavor well, the rest will be great) and a scoop of coconut-pineapple and it was awesome!
Will make this a go-to stop whenever I come!!!

This place is just perfect. Seating facing a lake to hang with friends and eat your ice cream. Gluten free cones and waffles!! and Gluten Free burgers! Got a big order the other day and some was Gluten-Free and some was normal so they separated the Gluten-Free from normal stuff in separate bags and used foil on the prep surface to make it safe for us. The cherry vanilla ice cream is to die for too. And love the sweet potato fries with horseradish aoli

This place is so much better than you imagine! It is so perfect for people who need substitutions, not expensive, and always delicious! Try the coffee ice cream!

They have some non dairy options so it's both close to where my family lives, and safe for my food intolerances. Definitely worth your time and the lines never make you wait
