I almost never say this but I LOVE MY HAIR now after Barbara and Vivian worked their MAGIC on my dull, graying and neglected hair. The Shear Pleasure salon has the most welcoming, bright and friendly atmosphere of any salon I’ve been to in a very long time. Barbara paid great attention to my specific hair needs and the result is shiny, soft hair in a color I love. I cannot say enough about this place! I highly recommend Shear Pleasure salon.

I took my mom there last week for the first time and I just wanted to share how happy she was with the result. She just wanted to trim the ends, but Barbara suggested a new twist to the old haircut shape that she had and my mom absolutely loved it. My 75 yo mom now looks not a day older than 59:) Everyone in the salon was very nice. It has ‘your neighborhood salon’ vibe. They seem to really care about their customers. We will be back.

Just got a full head of highlights today, they came out absolutely stunning! I have no words, for how fresh and luxurious they look. My first time here already feels like my second home to my beauty needs. Highly highly recommend, everyone is so so sweet, so good with detail, and most of all, maintaining everyone’s highest hair and beauty standards. They really make you feel like home. Coming back before I’m off to college in 6 months 🫶🏼💇‍♀

Went today after going nearly a year since a cut after finding them through groupon. Barbara did my hair. She did an excellent job. I love it. Plenty of free parking, busy but friendly vibe in salon. Feels like everyone knows each other. The woman who washed my hair and did my conditioning treatment was great too. I will definitely be a loyal customer. It's a good find. Oh, also no wait- I walked in at my time and was immediately serviced. Highly recommend.

I loved shear pleasure they absolutely live up to their name!! Everyone was so friendly and nice from the moment you get there til you leave they truly take care of you. Barbara did my hair and she did a fabulous job but literally everyone and everything is amazing and good pricing !! Definitely going back and I referred my aunt anne also!!

Absolutely loved it here. The staff was so kind and attentive! Martha was an absolute sweetheart made me feel comfortable and took her time to make sure my hair was perfect! Will definitely be going back in the future!!

I have been a customer for my entire adult life (thirty years) and only go here for my haircuts. I love that Barbara can work with my non-specific ideas to create something that works for ME and my life, at any stage. She is so kind and everyone there knows my family and enjoy seeing our faces when we visit. They are a friendly, skilled, authentic business and I recommend them all the time to friends!

Vivian was excellent! She guided me on different options for a trim and listened to my needs. We ended up cutting close to 10inches off and added long layers. My hair feels smooth and healthy again. Vivian was sweet and kept a conversation going. Looking forward to returning to see her again for my next cut.

Easy appointments, professional employees and very friendly staff. Plenty of parking. I’m always satisfied with my color done by my stylist Martha. Martha is excellent with hair cuts, colors and blow drying. I totally recommend them. They also do makeup.

Absolutely a lovely salon. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming. Extremely clean and happily decorated. The shampoo gal has a great technique for putting on a deep condition. A big shout out to Vivian who gave me a great cut. Definitely put this place on your list. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

My stylist, Diane, is just wonderful!! She is always very patient with me and gives me different ideas and choices for my hair. Karmin assists in making me feel as comfortable as possible and gently guides me through the process. The owner, Barbara is so nice and so concerned all the time. All together this is an excellent experience and I feel like a new woman when I leave inside and out!!

Loved it here! So clean and everyone was so friendly! Vivian gave me a great hair cut! I also got the deep conditioning treatment and my hair has never felt so soft! Also love that there was plenty of parking and they offered complimentary coffee or water (for those wondering it was a great place to go if you have anxiety about going to hair salons)

Shear Pleasure Hair Salon is the best ! Everyone who works there is so friendly. Every time I go in, the atmosphere is buzzing with happy customers. Barbara and her staff not only care about their customers hair styling but they do an absolutely beautiful job of decorating the salon for mostly all of the major holidays. Frank, my long time barber for over 50 years is a true professional. I always enjoy seeing him and relaxing in the chair for a great haircut. If you haven't tried this place, you're missing out on experiencing a hidden gem right here in Westchester County.

Barbara has been cutting my hair since September 2017. I always walk out looking fabulous and in 6 years have never had a bad haircut! Barbara is careful, meticulous and won't let you leave her chair until she is satisfied that all is perfect. Bravo, Shear Pleasure! First of all, Barbara and her staff are warm and welcoming. Second, Martha (my new hairdresser :) consistently does outstanding work. A month ago, she gave me a fabulous hairstyle. I showed one photo and Martha immediately knew how to make it happen. I just went back for color, and now I love it even more. Perfect, natural-looking highlights. I'm so happy!!
