Java Blue has fabulous barista staff! Always friendly, pleasant and helpful. The coffee is delicious as are the lunch options and the sweet treats. This place has local charm and is opening a new outdoor patio in a few days! Definiitely recommend a stop to anyone passing through.

Delicious food and drinks. Nice ambience for a quick breakfast or brunch. We got a matcha latte, vanilla latte, croissant egg salad and prosciutto pesto sandwiches. They were all amazing. The croissants were fresh out of the oven. There’s enough seating to stay and enjoy. I’ll definitely come back!

The piano music was lovely, the food is fantastic and and atmosphere is quaint. I really enjoyed the tiny old fashioned desk chair.

I love this place. The food is delicious, if you can grab one of their specials it’s quite the treat. Pastries are yummy and go nice with a flavored latte. But above all, what makes this place so special is the customer service. Whenever I’m in town this is my go to spot.

The counter person ( the owner possibly) was friendly and helpful. The food and coffee delicious! My friend and I had breakfast before our walk. Veggie sandwiches! So good! Will definitely go back!

We love coming to Java Blue! The food and drinks are always amazing and it’s so nice that it’s kid friendly with a kids table with some toys. It’s such a calm and friendly place to come to and I’ve never been disappointed with the food or service. My favorite place in town and Montgomery wouldn’t be the same without it!

If you appreciate good coffee and homemade goodies and authentic Italian hospitality, let Davide and his staff transport you to an Italian "bar" where you will feel part of the "famiglia!" My wife and I grew up in Italian families and have been from the North to the South of Italy, and recognize the real thing when we taste it.

What a great find! The coconut lavender latte is simply amazing!!!! The cafe is cozy and inviting. Owner super friendly and is a true coffee master! We all enjoyed our drinks and cookies. Highly recommend stopping in and checking out for yourself. You will thank me!! Kid friendly too👍🏻

I found this place on my Find Me GlutenFree app because of my gluten/wheat allergy I need to find safe places. We brought my wife’s mom here for a nice lunch.

First thing, I will say it’s not handicap accessible. There are 3 big steps with no railings to get inside and outside.

Second thing, It looks like a tiny cafe but there is actually a bigger area with big tables seating 4-6 folks. They have an outdoor seating as well. The atmosphere is amazing. It brings me back to cafes I would go to when I was younger. Meeting friends to play board games or do cute little coffee dates or lunch dates. These are the vibes here.

We walked in and I instantly made sure to ask about the gluten free bread being made somewhere else and to be careful on cross contamination. They were absolutely fine. My wife and her mom ordered paninis - chicken salad and prosciutto mozzarella and pesto. They both got the lavender lemonade. I order their chai latte with oat milk. I bought one raspberry shortbread cookie (gluten free)and her mom got a chocolate croissant.

We found a table and sat down after we were told they would bring it to the table. Service was fast and it was even nice when they came back to ask if everything was good!

As it was time to leave, my wife’s mom ordered the last chocolate croissant because she loved it so much. And I had to try a few other things, let alone another raspberry almond shortbread bar.

We will be back and highly recommend to anyone who is gluten free or not. Who loves a good sandwich/panini or wants a nice space to get out and enjoy one’s company. This is the place to go!

Excellent! I have celiac and tried their gluten-free scone and muffin. Honestly the best I've ever had. Usually gf scones will be very dry and crumble in your hands. This was not that. This was so moist and light and yet filling, and so delicious. Not too sweet, just sweet enough. The coffee was also wonderful. Lucky that my new job is around the corner! Also, the person helping me was very nice!

The Crunchy veggie wrap is delicious and I love their coffee!! Cute little Cafe with a lot of healthy choices and great service. Gluten Free options as well. Not from the area but will definitely be back!!

An absolute gem in Historic Montgomery. Delicious lattes ,pastries and sandwiches . The service is fantastic and can accommodate any request. Also there is a large selection of gluten free delicious pastries

Ever since I came upstate this place has been nothing but wonderful! Everyone is so nice and the service is great, its not too small and not to spacious. They make the best lattes and food. If you're just passing by it's a great spot to stop at, and if you live near and haven't went yet it's a must. This place is always on my list when I visit 💖😊😊😊😊

The atmosphere is so wonderful! Along with the amazing costumers service. Every employee at this cafe is so kind. Not to mention the DELICIOUS food they have here. This is a great choice for anyone of any age.

(Updated May 2023) - JAVA BLUE COFFEE in Montgomery, New York should be your destination for a delicious lunch seven days a week. The food choices have never disappointed. Everything has a delicious homemade flavor. Service is fast and very courteous. Prices are moderate. Many times they have live music! (Please see my photo).
Be careful where you park in Montgomery. Make sure you have a good parking spot. It’s worth the trip for a lovely lunch by yourself or with friends. :-)

Love the space as well as the vibe. Excellent Japanese Sencha tea along with a simple chocolate chip cookie that was blissfully crispy and satisfying. A great find - well worth the drive!

Best coffee - his blend! Best fresh homemade pastries and food! Highly recommend the prosciutto, mozzarella pesto sandwich and any donut. The owner, Davide, is awesome, earnest - kind and friendly - can’t say enough.
