Empanada Nirvana Walden NY

We went here today for the first time. I liked the large selection of empanadas with different fillings. I got a komodo dragon, a jersey chicken, and a sausage and peppers. They were all delicious. The sauce it came with was good as well. They are providing meals for people in the village who are down on their luck as well. All around a great place to have a meal. I definitely suggest checking them out !

Got chicken mofongo. It didn't stand a chance once I got home 😅 Amazing service, food was excellent, the environment was impeccable and they were playing Lil Yachty's new psychedelic rock album. Blown away during my mini vacay!

Hidden gem with great food, service, and vibes. The empanadas are some of the freshest and most delicious I’ve tasted. My personal favorite were the yucca fries - I’ve had yucca fries in dozens of places from Brazil up to Boston, and these were hands down THE BEST. JUST WOW. My only complaint is that I wish I lived closer so I could come here more often! 😍🤤

Would give 6/5 if possible. Had empanadas and a ginger teriyaki chicken and both were incredible. The owner and staff were super friendly in a very genuine way - they made us feel like part of the family. Went to Walden for Angry Orchard, but stayed for Empanada Nirvana.

Really cool place. Great food but I love the customer service even more. ReAlly a best of both worlds! The second time we went in, it was only two days later because we loved it so much! It would have been only a day later but they are closed on Mondays. It’s a come as you are kind of place which I loved that Tuesday in particular. It was my laundry day (really needed!) and I wore my PJ pants that day well because that’s what I had left! I told my husband, “Don’t take me anywhere fancy for dinner tonight! I’m in my PJs!” So we thought of trying this place again and oh my goodness, the welcome was AMAZING! I felt so comfortable and loved. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and even had left overs to snack on later. Yum! The empanadas taste really good and my favorite so far has been the Komodo Dragon. It’s the right kind of spicy if you into spicy food! They also have an off the menu sliced stuffed avocado that is great if you trying to do low carb.
We will definitely be back here and especially on laundry day! Lol! Thanks you guys :-)

Empanadas were amazing. Will definitely be going back more often.
Best thing about them is they have a sign that says “students get free lunch” that sold me 10X over. Any business who does this for kids has earned a lifelong customer in me!

Great menu, so much to choose from. Vegan specialties and what an Awesome Cuban sandwich. Many choices of Empanadas.

Very cool little place. Friendly owner. There's lots of art as well as abstract art decorating the place that the owner created himself. I highly recommend stopping by, grabbing some grub and admiring the various art pieces. 10/10

We ordered takeout on a whim and really enjoyed everything we ordered! Tons of food for only $35-$40. Definitely support this local spot!

Delicious food, great service and I love the atmosphere! Reminded me of my favorite museum the Visionary Arts Museum but with yard games and music. We’re just passing through but if we are ever back in town we will definitely eat here again.

I came here earlier today with my dog and I ended up meeting the owner. These are good people, they have a great little restaurant and tons of art inside! The owner made me some empanadas too and they were absolutely delicious. I love this place ❤

Ok, I'm sitting here almost in tears, tears of JOY! I just ordered from Empanada Nirvana, the food was absolutely incredible! I haven't tasted such an authentic style comfort food since I was a kid. I'm 63 years old lol. I'm also a retired veteran and the price was so reasonable that even I could afford to eat like a king! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! So if you're looking for the best Hispanic, Mexican comfort food, that is made with LOVE, then look no further than Empanada Nirvana! You will not be disappointed! I guarantee!

Mofongo and Yucca fries were out of this world delicious. I haven't had Mofongo since I honeymooed in PR 10 years ago. EN version exceeded my expectations. Sauce on the yucca fries should be bottled and sold. I'd put that on everything. Portions are large. Can't wait to have leftovers for breakfast. Fella at the window was super friendly.

I absolutely adore the beautiful art and scenery of this place. It is so well themed and decorated, not to mention the DELICIOUS food! I am so excited to have Empanada Nirvana in Walden. I can't wait to try more of their menu. What a cool spot to eat!

The empanadas are to die for, the milkshakes are very refreshing, the chicken tacos are amazing, very clean place, amazing host, and the art is so inspiring

Good food, cool vibe, and friendly staff. They even have gluten free options.I will definitely be returning.
