Beer World

Wow! This place has a HUGE beer selection! I was very impressed by how many different breweries are represented on the shelves not just from the USA but from other countries as well. If I ever find myself traveling through that area again, I will definitely make my way to Beer World again!

Excellent spot for beer! They have a great selection of traditional beer along with a good selection of craft beer. Found some really good craft beer here as well and they have a tasting station to get Growlers to go

Wow, what a great place! Admittedly it looks a bit cheesy from the highway billboards and giant sign outside, but once inside you can easily see that their boasts are well-deserved and they have quite a fantastic beer selection. I am very much a craft beer aficionado and they have a lot of great stuff that can be difficult to find outside the city, and certainly anywhere that might be considered upstate. These will certainly change from the time of my review, but at the time I went in they had several things by top craft breweries like Melvin and Off-Color.

Several reviews comment on the high prices--but the prices are normal for these beers. They don't seem to be upcharging or pricing the beers unfairly at all. If you're not in the market for more expensive craft beer, they have plenty of cheaper stuff and commercial domestics as well.

Beer World is a very impressive establishment. I was a kid in a candy store. So much to choose from but when I noticed the Mississippi Mud.Game over. Although beer is their specialty snacks, cigars, sodas are also available. Great service , staff members walking around constantly asking if they can help. Will be returning. Thanks

Honestly I love this store. They have amazing prices and such a wide range of beer and tobacco products. They are the cheapest place with the best quality in Monticello hands down (Trust me I looked). They are always quick and friendly as well. They deserve 10 stars.

Pretty much any beer under the sun, from far-ranging imports to obscure local microbrews. Growler refills, with sampling beforehand. Tabacco is also sold on-site.

Stopped for a quick detour on my way through on the highway; very convenient for a quick stop. The selection was absolutely stunning. They had an amazing selection of everything from rare single bottles to amazing craft sample packs. Only bad thing about this place is the price. While a rare four pack or bottle might be worth a premium, beer I can find anywhere in the regular supermarket was upcharged by a few dollars. Still, worth stopping in if you're trying to find that special beer you've been looking for or want to discover something new.

Wow! They have an incredible selection of beer and as a craft beer lover, I have to say that their collection is superb! Unfortunately I don’t live near here to come more often. I didn’t get the name of the guy at the cashier but he was really kind with his service.

Beautiful store with a large selection of beer and ciders from all over the world including microbrews from near and far. Large selection of tobacco too. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. And if they don't have what you're looking for, they will try to get it. Fast and easy bottle redemption also.

I have to admit and I need to state that I’ve gone to the beer store aka beer world for many years now. I have had my good share of amazing beers from around the country. Tonight I went there, as I haven’t been there recently just to find some amazing sours, lambics and bottled stouts that I haven’t never seen before with great ratings on untapped. They have really stepped up there game and brought out the big guns with the amount of selection they have. If your looking for anything good to sip on, that would be my first choice to check out when in Monticello.

Excellent service all around. From the bottle return section to the interior. They personally order me and my husband's specialty cigarettes. Are knowledgeable with ecigs, vapes, batteries. A wide variety of craft beers, wines, etc. You won't be disappointed.

Great choice of craft beers. The employees are very knowledgeable and polite. Great prices for everything they sell. They even have a redemption center for returning all New York state 5 cent deposit cans.

They are all a pleasure to deal with in bringing in my cans n bottles and get me out of there very quickly. . A couple of block’s away is Beer world and they are a nightmare to deal with.

The staff are incredibly friendly. The bottle return area is spacious and well organized. Carry a large variety of beers, sodas, cigarettes, pipes, vaporizers. Great place.
