Busken Bakery

Stopped by on my way to the Cincinnati Nature Center for volunteer work to grab a bite with my coffee. The glazed croissant was soft and tasted wonderful as it melted in my mouth. The staff were super nice and obviously knew their regular customers. I will be back.

Buskens "Dream team" cake decorators are amazing! We ordered a koala cake and it was beautifully done and the cake was moist and delicious. One of the few places that will decorate a cake..with icing instead of plastic stuck on decorations.

The employees are always so nice and helpful! And of course any food you get here is delicious. Couldn't recommend this location highly enough!

Our Anderson store closed and I would normally have gone to Hyde Park, but decided to give the Eastgate location on Old State Rte 74 a try. This is a nice bake shop with a good selection and excellent service by Connie. My daughter says "she's sweeter than anything in the store and really made my day special!" Our specialty cake order was accurately taken and she made some key suggestions that really made a difference. Connie even called to be sure I was aware it had not yet been picked up, and it was getting near closing time. She took the time to tell me it turned out to be really nice and she thought I'd be happy. It is obvious she takes pride in her job and represents Busken with class. Cakes are fresh, frosting is excellent and their donuts are wonderful - actually never met a piece of bakery from there I didn't like!

The coffee may seem basic, but it is full of flavor and just perfect. I order two of the sour cream glazed donuts and I love how it was flavor and not full sugar rush. My new favor donut shop.

Needed a donut on the way work so decided to drop by and pick one up. Had signs for the Polish doughnut Paczki everywhere, so I decided to get one. Had the lemon filled Paczki. Delicious tasting and the lemon filling was firm enough that it did not drip out of the donut after biting into it.

It's the best, Connie at Eastgate very kind. Sure miss Buskens in Milford.

Aside from the delicious treats Buskens is known for, the staff at this particular Cincinnati Busken location is exceptional in so many ways that it’s well worth a visit. Along with being pleasant and great at what they do, the time and effort they put forth to go the extra mile will have you leaving with a smile on your face and feeling glad you came. Thanks ladies..... great job :)

Glazed croissants were delicious, hands down best doughnuts I've ever had.

The ladies at our Busken are always nice and helpful. I usually can't decide what I want and they never get pushy or frustrated with me when I stand there looking at 50 different donuts and can't choose. It's always clean and they are always smiling. Love these people.

Tea cookies with chocolate icing. They are the most delicious cookies. I moved out of state and every time I visit Cincinnati I return home with Buskin cookies. The staff at this location was kind. I used to visit the Anderson Beechmont location (bummer it closed permanently)
I bought a box of the chocolate iced tea cookies and know I should buy more than one.

Also bought some pumpkin face cookies. Another favorite from Buskin.

Busken bakeries are famous in the Cincinnati region. Their pastries are wonderful works of art and delicious. I got a maple nut roll. The ladies behind the counter were so sweet. I was wearing my Vietnam veteran's hat. At checkout the lady asked me if I was a veteran. I told her I was, and she asked if I had a veteran's ID card. When I showed her my card she told me I was entitled to a free small coffee and a doughnut EVERY DAY. So I only had to pay for the brownie I had selected with the roll. I had some coffee in the pot back at my apartment but decided to sample theirs since I could have a free cup. It was great coffee and I appreciated how they had half-and-half to cream it with.

I moved away 7 years ago and I never realized how hard it is to find a good bakery - until I moved away! Whenever I go to Cincinnati, I always go to the Eastgate Buskens! I get two Double Butter Coffee Cakes and a pound or two of their most delicious tea cookies (my grandsons love my visits 😁)! I cannot tell you how excited I am to be moving back to Cincinnati and finally having an amazing bakery right down the road! Their goes the "diet".... but at least I'm 😊 Busken's rocks!

The store was loaded with Christmas goodies and I lost control. No will power. Gingerbread, thumbprint cookies, egg buns - all delicious. Virginia Bakery recipe Schnecken!!!! Lost my mind!
