Veterans Memorial Park

I was visiting from out of town and looking for a place to walk my dog. This was a perfect spot! 1 mile walking trail that surrounds all kinds of sports fields/courts. Has a pond, pavilion, and restrooms. Lots of people out walking and I felt very safe. I also enjoyed reading the different plaque for the memorials that honor our veterans. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great park and me and my kids have fun every single time we come it’s conveniently located. I’m very clean.

Lots of picnic tables many in the shade. Nice lake with a fountain. Ball fields. Nice walking path. Plenty of parking and clean restrooms. I will definitely visit here again.

Beautiful park. Very peaceful. They have outlets under the covered shelter so you can plug in your phone or laptop and work. This would also be handy for a gathering! This is a Vietnam Veterans Memorial as well, they have an actual helicopter on display that was flown during the Vietnam war. There have areas for tennis, volleyball, basketball, soccer, baseball, and track. They have a well marked walking path that marks start and finish for 1 mile.

The best part about this park is that the police station is literally next door, and the firehouse is directly across the street. I have never felt safer at any park. The entire track is viewable, no part of it goes through any wooded area.

As many years as I have visited I have never seen any issues. 😃

Wonderful little place to go for a run. The memorial itself is nice and the park was well kept. They have a little pond and it was nice to see a swan swimming around. There is a nice area to play basketball or cricket, I've seen play play both there. Would definitely recommend for a little jog.

Always a great place to go. Nice big trees lots of green grass a very nice walking trail and basketball courts volleyball courts and a pond to sit by and relax and watch the geese and ducks.. they're our picnic areas it is dog friendly and the restrooms are clean.

Great public resource I try to stop here a few times a week and leave some demons out on the track. I don’t know if it works but I’m thankful the place is there.

The park is beautifully maintained! Lots of space to roam and play. The ducks and swans are super cute. The playground area does need some attention. The mulch is a bit low, and a slide is cracked. There are plenty of stalls in the restrooms, and you've got the endless possibility of on-leash dog walking/running on a paved path.

Tennis courts, helicopter and playground equipment. Park created in memory of members of service, all branches . All gave some. Some gave all.

Great place to go walking! Safe, open area

Great walking track. So glad I can finally take my dog. Please, if you take your dog, clean up their doo doo. There are bags provided if you didn't bring one. Be responsible and don't ruin this privilege for those of us who do clean up!

Awesome park with asphalt pathway to Walk, Power Walk, Jog or Run. Tennis/Pickle Ball courts too.

Good park for walking the track, playing tennis and pickle ball, I’ve even seen folks playing cricket here. Lots of soccer played here, wish they had nets they maintained. Overall a nice and well maintained park. Also has a nice lake, picnic area and playground.

Very impressive love the remembrance for the people who served our country. With things to do for all ages. Park for kiddos, jogging the track for mommas or anyone trying to get that body we want. And basketball n volleyball for those who like to play sports. Grilling area with cover picnic tables. Local and free!

Clean park and grass is maintained professionally.

The field is open but no clear markings designating which field is labeled field 1, field 2.. etc.

Many sports teams utilize the fields and is tough getting a spot even though a reservation is made because field is not marked. Luckily, the coaches are all good citizens and share.

Small pond is great for kids fishing and some adults. Track is great for walking/jogging.
