Baymont by Wyndham Cedar City

Fantastic motel in a great location. A lot of restaurants nearby, and right at the gateway to cedar breaks and Bryce Canyon. The hotel has a 70’s feel to it, but the rooms are immaculate and it has a good pool and hot tub. Although those aren’t overly large, they are functional. I think my favorite part of the rooms are the ceiling to floor windows.

Older place but nice enough. Good shower head, hot water, water pressure and proper tub draining and that is very important.
Elevator to the second floor was appreciated. It was quiet and a larger room than the newest motels. Pass on the free breakfast which amounted to cold cereals.
Will stay here again.

We love this hotel location in Cedar City for several years. For us this is the third owner of the hotel since we've been coming. They're doing a great job keeping up the property since it is the closest location to the Shakespeare Festival and downtown shopping, all within walking distance. The room is clean and tidy, breakfast in the morning has great variety and you won't get bored with it. Staff is always pleasant to talk to and willing to help with any needs you have.

From the fast and extremely friendly check in to the absolutely gorgeous clean room, everything was A+. The breakfast in the morning so so surprisingly good! You can't beat everything you get for such a reasonable price. That is definitely my new place to stay when going to Cedar city!

I'm puzzled by the bad reviews. I've stayed here twice and would gladly stay again. From the outside the place seems a little dated, but inside the rooms are nice, comfortable, clean, and well furnished. And the location right downtown and close to SUU is ideal. Plus the prices are great! Hate giving them such a good review in case it drives the prices up.

My husband and I literally stay in a hotel every single night of the year as we travel for our buisness. This hotel was very surprising, very clean we stayed in a pet room which had hard wood floors and was spotless. Very quiet, very friendly staff ample parking for our truck and trailer. No additional charge for the dogs! We will definitely be staying again. Only complaint was that ac was kinda of week but its the middle of the winter so we survived (we just like it cold at night).

The women cleaning the rooms in the area we were staying in were so friendly and polite. We really appreciated the breakfast and the ease of access that our room provided, would definitely stay here again!

My Husband and I had to make a last minute trip to Cedar City 3/26/21. All hotels were booked so we opted to stay an hour outside of town in a lodge in the mountains. When we arrived at 10 PM, the lodge front desk was closed up and there was no key left out for us. The temps were already at 17 degrees outside and dropping. We went to the lodge room we had reserved hoping the door was left unlocked. It was, but the room was completely trashed and had not been cleaned from the guest prior. We turned the heater on and in 30 minutes it didn't even start to blow hot air. We decided to drive to Cedar City as it would be warmer to have to sleep in the car.
On the way I started calling hotels in Cedar City. Rudy with Baymont listened to our situation and helped us greatly by calling his manager to see if he could sell us one of their backup/ emergency rooms. We were SO grateful he went the extra mile so we could have a bed and a warm, clean room to sleep in. Thank you Rudy!!!

Baymont Cedar City has a good location with a fair price. Close to Zion National Park, I payed less than $100/ night on a weekend when there was a tournament in town. The staff was helpful, the room was clean and looked new. They offered a pretty okay breakfast during COVID when all the other hotels didn’t have breakfast at all. I had a nice experience overall and I definitely recommend Baymont to those staying in the Cedar City area.

Very clean rooms and set up well. Very nice place. Two people, two beds booked online was $60. If you don't book that way, $90.

This is my preferred place to stay! Great rooms, great Fitness room, and outstanding staff! It's right in the heart of the town, so you'll find all the amenities you need. On a lighter note, the shampoo is better than most hotels also.

We stayed here on our road trip for a night. The night staff was very friendly and helpful. Place was clean and good for one night. Nothing fancy or updated but all we needed was a place to crash

Very clean and the rooms are large. I also love that there is a separate place to get ready with a sink while someone else is showering.

Large, comfortable and clean room. Dark for sleeping. Relatively quiet although the hotel was full. It is an older hotel in the downtown area but nicely upgraded. I would stay again.

What a wonderful place to stay! Super affordable, staff was awesome and friendly! Great room with everything you could need. Will definitely be back when I pass through again!

Top notch customer service. I had stayed at a Holiday Inn in St. George, and had horrible service. Came to this hotel, and the service was much better. Definitely will be coming again.

It was a rather spacious and well kept hotel, despite being a little older. We were really happy with our stay.

Inexpensive but nice Wyndham property. No frills but everything worked well and the beds were great.
