If you like a good old fashioned short order burger joint and are in the area....hit HERMIES us. While their burgers are amazing what always gets me are the specialty side options.... Munchers, Fried Zucchini, Fried Mushrooms!!!! And that soft serve treat at the end is just a great way to spend your afternoon or hit and early dinner..... its a local and traveler favorite so don't get distraught if there is a line they are quick and efficient in getting you fed.

All in all this is one of my favorite local hero's.... a winner that's agreed to just about any time its suggested.

We stop at Hermie's now whenever we are in town. We consistently have a good meal here. The kids like the plain Burgers (I like the price) Most recently I tried the Hermie's Burger and it was Delicious! They have our hearts and our business.

Great place in Cedar City to stop for a burger and fries. Loved the pumpkin shake, small was just the right size. Very friendly staff!

I ordered the mushroom burger and the fried mushrooms, but i want to highlight the mushrooms! Fried to perfection! The mushrooms were huge. They were served with ranch. I highly reccomend this side dish.

Love Hermies. Best burger joint in Cedar. The jalapeno burger is delicious! And their fries are to die for... especially the sweet potato. Only annoyance was the "large" size for both fries (esp the sweet potato) felt small. Would definitely get more next time. Also ask for spicy ranch! It's not on the menu but it's super good.

Traveling from Vegas to Salt Lake and decided to find a burger place to eat. WOW, this place is hands down Wonderful! From here and now I know exactly where I am eating every time, I make this travel. If you have ever had an old-fashioned burger, you will appreciate eating here. My boyfriend had a strawberry shake and it had real strawberries in it and it was super thick. We loved every bite of all of it. Thank you Hermie's! Keep up the great work.

Everything was top notch. Got the burger that was recommended by the staff, fries, and a chocolate shake. Excellent food and service. I'll be back!

A friend recommended we try Hermies while visiting, and it was excellent. A splash of local color, and excellent food.

The blackberry shake we had was a perfect balance of fruit to ice cream. My wife adored her Navajo taco, and the porky bacon burger left me skeptical at first because of the tartar sauce on it, but it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in a while.

The zucchini fries were also excellent.

Would recommend to anyone looking for a great burger or local place.

What a great spot for some cheap, delicious burgers!! Hermie's burger and the Jalapeño burger were amazing. Curly fries and blueberry muffin shakes were bomb as well. Highly recommend!

Everything was delicious! My son said the Porky Bacon burger was the best burger he’s ever had. I think most restaurants don’t do grilled cheese well, but this one was great- crispy and cooked well. The fries are crispy and delicious. Glad we stopped by. The banana split was big and yummy. There was even enough seating for our big group.

It was busy. About 10 cars in the drive thru lane. Maybe ten people sitting inside and people at the counter ordering. I was in a hurry to get some food and go back to work. It only took a few minutes to be waited on. Then less than ten minutes passed and my food was brought to me at a table where I was sitting. The BlackBerry milkshake was really good. I think they need to replace the chicken nuggets with some that have pieces of chicken instead of particles of chicken. I still will eat the burger in a short while.
I am impressed with the great service and prompt food preparation.
If the nuggets were better I would give it a 5 Star across the board

Hermie's is a small but charismatic, family friendly place. I was there with my Grandpa and Dad. They were friendly and the food was great. My dad got the fish dinner and replaced the fries with English chips and it came with fried bread and honey butter which was really good. My Grandpa got the foot long hotdog with everything on it and a vanilla shake and he enjoyed it. I got a grilled chicken sandwich with cheddar cheese and a side of onions rings added to it. It definitely tasted delicious.

Absolutely fantastic! I've been to many burger joints from mom and pop shops to McDonald's, but this one really hit it out of the park! It'll cost you just as much as going to McDonald's but here you'll get good quality and good tasting food. Recommended for all ages! Burgers, fries, and shakes!

It's been about 43 years since I ate at this place. It's just as good as I remembered. I was in Jr High last time I was here. Different location but same great food. I spent lots of quarters on the juke box and pinball machines so long ago, those are all gone in the place they're in now. Such good memories. It won't be 43 years before I'm back.

We went on a Saturday during lunch rush and didn’t wait more than 10 minutes for our food. Food was very good. The service was excellent. The sweet kid that took our order couldn’t have been more than 13 years old, but he read our order back to us and was spot on. My husband got the old fashioned burger and loved it. I got a spicy chicken sandwich and loved it. The fresh jalapeños were a really nice touch. My kids each got the kids chicken strip meal and both really really enjoyed their food. Fries were fresh. Too crowded to sit inside (although people were coming and going quickly and we had a chance at a table) but the Cedar City park is literally right next door and has 5 or 6 picnic tables, several of which are covered, within 100 feet of the door to Hermie’s. We will go again when we drive through Cedar City. I need to try their ice cream and shakes!

If you are in or near Cedar City, and you have a craving for a good burger, this is the place you must go. The building and the interior are a throwback to the 40s and 50s. It was once a drive-in, but now is eat in or carry out. The hand padded burgers are the bomb. Available in many different configurations. I am not a fan of french fries, but tried theirs and they are delicious also. If you are a french fry person who is accustomed to dipping your fries in ketchup, you have to try the fry sauce with your fries. If you are not from Utah like me then you do not know what this is as it is unique to Utah. Get the fries and try it. And I would be doing you a disservice if I forgot to mention the snappy footlong chili dog!! Delicious!

Highly recommend! Especially for families with kids! It was our first time today and it was amazing! The food was so delicious; we got double cheeseburgers, fries, milkshakes and the chicken nuggets. The restaurant was incredibly clean, we got our food quickly (even though we went during a busy time) and the customer service was great. Everyone was friendly and happy to help. A local family owns this place and that seals the deal for us! Definitely one of our favorite places in Cedar!

We heard great things about Hermie's, so we decided to try it for ourselves. Although we just got shakes and fries, no meals, we were not disappointed. All the shakes were really good. The English chips were awesome. Nobody makes those anymore. So good. Cute little diner. Can't wait to go back and try the meals.

The service is stellar here. The food was great and made to order.

I was passing through from out of town and got a Hermie burger and some munchers. I'm glad I ordered them.

The munchers were a nice surprise and I'm not sure what I'd call them except delicious when fresh. It's like a cheesy tater tot with a little bit of chopped jalapeno in it.

Absolutely the best burger I've tried in Cedar City. Granted that isn't a stiff competition, but still this was a killer burger joint, and a lot of fun if you like a little bit of history with your food. This place has been around for awhile, and a have a personal bias towards that, but I still think it had a quality burger. Stop by, try it and see! I tried the platty melt and it was delicious.
