Cafe Rio Fresh Modern Mexican

We visited here while traveling and were really stressed financially, but needed to eat. For some reason, the manager thought we looked like we could use a break and comped our whole meal! The food was delicious, we LOVED the tres leches. We were very grateful for their kindness!

I was surprised how good the food tasted. I didn’t care for the decor, but so what? Cafeteria style service, but it was fresh and hot. I had shredded chicken tacos, hubby had shredded beef enchiladas. I also had tres leches for dessert. All were excellent. While they had a guy cleaning the tables, the glass on the doors could have used it also.

Staff at the cedar city store is always friendly and helpful to making sure that our food is made the way we want it.
Other stores are usually in a hurry and make the food with out listening to how we want it.

Cedar City struggles in restaurant cleanliness. Cafe Rio in Cedar City is one of a few exceptions. Always clean, always delicious. Good consistency.

I love Cafe Rio! The food was delicious! I got the salad as always. Each table is separated to keep the 6ft distance. All employees where wearing masks. A guy was also sanitizing the tables which was great. The trash cans were clean too and not over stuffed. They have signs around that say you have to wear a mask. I didn't see hand sanitizer dispensers around.

I got a steak salad and a cheese quesadilla Everything was fresh and tasty, my steak was really good, juicy and delish. Decent size portion. Most importantly the staff was very friendly and professional. Fast service, no wait time. I guess I will have to skip them on weekends.

Skimpy on steak ! Out of guacamole and tortilla cheese! LOUSY service. It took me 20+ minutes to order even though there were just 3 people in front of me. VERY LOUD music, it’s already hard to communicate with the team members due to masks and those plastic screens they had installed. You have to over-scream the loud music on top that...
Just one star cause the ingredients were fresh.

Tasty, the steak just came from the grill, juicy and flavorful. All salad ingredients were fresh. Good job. The team members are really customer oriented. The portions are decent size.

Great Cafe Rio. Good food but exceptional service at this location. Very friendly staff. Good family atmosphere.

They cut the lettuce into smaller bite size pieces!! I also asked foe the tortilla on the side and they buttered added cheese and warmed it up before they wrapped it. As I was sitting at the table outside a sweet employee brought me chips and salsa on the house!!!! Skip the Cafe Rio in St George just head out to Ceder. The one in West Valley has gotten really sloppy and cold. Thank you employees of Ceders Cafe Rio you made the experience wonderful!!! :>)

The Cedar City store is one of my favorite Cafe Rio locations. Always tasty food, short lines and good service.

Great experience at cafe rio today, the line staff was super nice and efficient, amber checked me out and made sure all my food was ready to go. Highly recommend cafe rio!

The cafe Rios on road trips always tend to get trashed that people stop at because it’s not as good as their home one because it’s busy and understaffed. I thought it was great! I got way more meat than my home one gives me! Thank you for that! I loved the burrito and it tasted like cafe Rio should! Thanks for adding to my fun road trip and filling my hungry belly! Who is the guy that trashed this place cause it’s not as good as Costa Vida? Bro! I love them both, but I wouldn’t rate it one star for that? Seems extreme since the food is sooo similar!

The sweet pork is still number one. However the asada chicken is definitely a strong second place.

The food was brought out quickly from the drive-through and the gentleman that brought our food was super nice! :)

It’s not fine dining but you already knew that if you were coming to eat here. The staff were super nice and the food was delicious and well priced. Love me some Cafe Rio.

Great service at the Cedar City location. Less crowded than other Cafe Rios...also they have $2 tacos for Taco-Tuesday! Food is fresh and made from scratch and you can tell by the way it tastes!

Love the food! Great service. Can’t beat the sweet pork salad with the amazing dressing. And the queso is so yummy!

Always go to cafe Rio in Cedar city, when in town, I like their food and staff.... but ran I to a problem with the Tres Leches, way too over baked, tasted burned.. I talked to the lady in charge, she was rude and said it was always baked the same way.... but I have had tres leches from Logan to Santa Clara... never had it over baked!😕

Great food. The service was fast. The cook asked me if I wanted sauce, and I just said I liked cheese, and she said, "I'll give you extra cheese." It was absolutely delicious.
