The property is a California dream and is the perfect setting for weddings or any get (together) or get (away) and fulfills every wish on your list when it comes to finding the best venue space. Lillaskog Lodge made such a beautiful venue for my small wedding! The experience was completely relaxed and stress free. They were also incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout the entire process. The view and sunsets are breathtaking! They made some gorgeous photos and incredible memories!

Our wedding was 10/08/2022 and to this day it was one to remember! Lillaskog lodge has breathtaking views and we knew we would do whatever it takes to get married here from the second we stepped out of our car! Tom and Liza are so welcoming and make you feel as though you are family! They will go above and beyond to make sure they can accommodate all your wants and needs for the big day! I have to say, I will be coming back to Lillaskog lodge one day, and I look forward to it becoming a tradition in our family.

Lillaskog Lodge is a BEAUTIFUL secluded property! My mom planned a Christmas trip for our family of 7 adults, 5 kids and 2 dogs. We stayed Dec 22 - Dec 27th. It snowed Christmas night and we woke up to the most beautiful snow scenery.

The cabin itself, was spacious. Plenty of room for all the families. All the kids slept on the lowest level. There were 6 beds, I believe plus a couch. We did not use the couch as the kids complained that it was dirty. I would recommend updating the downstairs beds and couch. They had plenty of space to run around and even had double doors leading outside which was perfect to view the beautiful scenery. They had a heater in their room which quickly heated up the large space. Board games and puzzles were also provided.

All of the bathrooms were spacious and came stocked with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. I would recommend having some sort of railing next to the clawfoot bathtubs as my 60 year old dad fell trying to get out of it. :-(

There are a couple of hills on the property that are perfect for sledding. The long driveway actually worked the best. The kids stayed outside for hours playing in the snow. (Their first time)
We did encounter a snow storm, the worst they had seen in a decade. We almost got snowed in, but they worked hard to make sure we were able to leave. They plowed the driveway and the groundskeeper, Ken used his vehicle to make tracks in the snow so it would be easier to get down to the main street.

Above all, I would highly recommend Lillaskog. It was beautiful, we made so many great memories and it is a place that I will never forget. Can't wait to return!

The pictures do not do the place justice. This place is surrounded by mountains and it’s located in an area where you get a great view and truly feel isolated from civilization.

The home is one of the most spacious in the area and the property is big enough where you could go on a hike and not go outside the premises.

The owners and managers always ensure you feel like it’s your home. The homelike feeling and the great customer treatment have convinced us to go back again and again.

This location is stunning. The views are amazing and made the most beautiful backdrop at sunset for our wedding reception. Everyone felt so comfortable and we’re able to relax and enjoy our wedding. The owners Tom and Liza were amazing. Very responsive and addressed all of our questions and concerns. Brought us extra supplies when needed and sent several people to help us during our big day. I really can’t recommend this venue enough.

This place is hidden gem. Secluded and self contained yet comfortable and inviting.
Perfect place for small wedding or family functions or just to spend a few days in the lap of nature. The views are to die for.
6 bedrooms and a hall can accommodate about 19 people. The lawn is large enough for a gathering of about 100.

This venue is not only scenic, beautiful, and a completely perfect place for a wedding, but Tom and Liza are incredible to work with! We had so many hurdles on our wedding weekend, including the biggest snowfall in over 40 years, a caved in roof over the propane tank, and walkways buried in snow and they still ensured the weekend was magical by coming up to personally check on us, shovel snow for us, allow us to use the adjacent property if needed for showers, and setting up a beautiful ceremony area for us to use. They were communicative and wonderful the whole time leading up to the weekend and the entire time we were at the lodge. The wedding was magical in spite of the many hurdles we faced, and we will certainly be recommending the lodge and visiting again! We dealt with some crazy weather, but everything turned out wonderful in the end thanks to the wonderful staff at Lillaskog and a little elbow grease.

We had our wedding here last month and would 110% recommend! Liza and Tom are so great and easy to work with as well as all the local vendors. The surroundings and view speak for themselves - all our guests that made the trek here said it was worth it. Can’t say enough good things about Lillaskog Lodge! We hope to stay again for one of our anniversaries.

I have stayed at Lillaskog numerous times, and it is certainly an exceptional place. The lodge is in close proximity to the Yosemite park entrance as well as many hidden gems outside the park. The staff members are knowledgeable and always help us navigate our stays. The house is well equipped with cookware, blankets, towels and fans, and meets all of our needs no matter the occasion. Thank you Lillaskog for being the perfect place for a serene mountain getaway!

We recently stayed at the lodge this past labor day weekend and had a great time. This is the perfect place for any family and friend get togethers. It fits 20 of us with easy with more then enough the kitchen utensils and towels.

The view from the balcony is unparalleled especially at sunrise or sunset. And the lodge is far enough away from the 120 that it made for quite evenings but it’s close enough to access Yosemite (12 miles to the front gate) and several trails in Stanislous forest.

From the property manager to the staff that work the lodge everyone was so helpful and accommodating. And unlike previous reviews of the heat, we found the swamp cooler kept the house cool even when everyone was gathered around the couches and tables.

We had our wedding there and it was the perfect location. Everyone loved the views and our pictures turned out great. I highly recommend the lodge and Liza and Tom were great to work with!

Lillaskog Lodge far exceeded all of my expectations! Diane and the crew are beyond accommodating and made sure that we were well attended to. I hosted my wedding there the 1st week of September and I was a little worried because of the recent reviews regarding the heat and lodge conditions. The moment we entered the lodge we were greeted by a cool breeze from the swamp cooler that was very refreshing in 90 degree weather outside. The lodge was very clean, well stocked, and had everything that we needed to accommodate our guests and help us prep for our wedding. All of our guests were in awe of the lodge and its views and it was a weekend that none of us will ever forget! Thank you to Diane and Lillaskog Lodge for these memories!!!

We booked Lillaskog for our wedding reception and couldn't have been happier. Our immediate families stayed in the house with us for the days leading up to our wedding, so it was like a family reunion. Had our ceremony in Yosemite, about an hour and a half drive to the ceremony site. We were able to do everything ourselves- food, flowers, decorations, cake, everything, exactly what we wanted, being the controlling artists that we are. We are from the bay area, so the temperatures weren't bad for us, and the swamp cooler kept the inside cool enough. Yes, the house did get warm with everyone cooking, and coming in and out, but in no way was it unbearable for us, plus it cools down in the evenings. It was perfect for us. Our wedding was beautiful, and the lodge was perfect for our families. Two refrigerators for all of our food, three BBQs, a freezer downstairs, all the cooking equipment we needed, a washer and dryer, and so many bathrooms, it was perfect. Lillaskog was in our budget range, and absolutely perfect for us. We did literally everything we wanted for our wedding! And our families enjoyed the space, getting to sit in the yard to watch the sunset and star gaze at night, to walking around the orchard area to pick apples. It was perfect. Diane was easy to get in touch with, and quick to respond to any of our questions. Scott was on site and helped with little details-getting us trash bags, finding a stereo speaker for us, and any little things we needed. We literally could not be happier with how our wedding went and everything with the lodge. Our families want to go back for a family reunion in the future!

BIG thank you to Diane and her staff for making our family vacation one to remember!!! The lodge and the views are absolutely stunning! Diane made us feel at home away from home! We sat out under the stars at night, went for hikes during the day, there were even games provided for the kids! The venue was so gorgeous, I suggested that my friend have her wedding here! We took the kids to Rainbow Pool which is 1 mile away and they loved it!!! We will for sure be coming back here for other family events!

We did an extensive search for a wedding venue. Thank God we found Lillaskog Lodge. This is a beautiful wedding venue and the scenery is just beautiful. We could have not asked for a better venue to host our wedding. We came all the way from New Jersey to host our wedding at this perfect location. Our guest and family were amazed by the beauty and nature of this place! Without any doubts this is a beautiful place! View is fantastic, the facility is very clean, and staff quite friendly and helpful. Our vendors (photographers, DJ, Caterers, and bar attenders) were amazed by the beauty of this place. “How come we did not know about this place?” Was the most common reaction from our vendors. Our memories of this place will last forever.

We stayed at Lilliskog when family came to visit from Virginia and it was wonderful! There are so many fun things to do, both inside the house and nearby. We cooked up a storm, perused the many books on the shelves and put together a jigsaw puzzle. We enjoyed a few hikes inside Yosemite, and swam at the waterfall pools. We took a day trip to Bodie State Historic Park which is a fascinating "ghost town" that we also recommend visiting. It was great to have a nice sized family room and dining area where we could all gather, and to also have so much rooms so everyone could have their own place for downtime. When you visit, make time to sit outside to enjoy the sunset - the views were spectacular! We highly recommend Lilliskog!

This place is so incredibly beautiful! I was the ohotographer for a recent wedding and was just in awe over its beauty. The view is to die for, the log lodge is so incredibly gorgeous, the alter has some if the most beautiful,flowers, and the people are beyond sweet and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

Large, cozy, beautiful cabin on an isolated and very large property located on a hill with virtually no neighbors. Views were outstanding. Owner was very friendly and easy to work with. Hope to visit for years to come
