The Ahwahnee Bar

We dropped by for a cocktail and light lunch. The Ahwahnee Bar is beautiful and the staff kind and thoughtful. Service was delightful and care was taken to help with menu changes to suit our needs. Ambience beautiful with the snow capped trees out of the tall windows. The lounge areas in the hotel have cozy fireplace seating and is very inviting.

This is a nice place to have a drink or get a quick bite in a relax comfortable setting. The service is very good. We had an excellent lunch here before setting out to the Mirror Lake. The food quality is good and at a premium price. We enjoyed the overall service, food and atmosphere very much. We'll be coming back every time we come to Yosemite.

We had lunch here today. Host Neil was very friendly and helpful. We sat at bar and Sean our bartender was great too. The restaurant is short staffed, but they all hustled. Menu is smallish but our food was DELICIOUS!!! My wife had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the carnitas verde sandwich, both came with yummy homemade potato chips. What a great meal!!!

Such a fantastic beautiful place with a lot of history... after seeing the gorgeous views I took my mother in-law to eat a bite and she can be a bit difficult at times so things started off a bit rough when she felt we were being ignored by most of the wait staff but luckily we were finally taken care of by a lovely gal named Rachel she was fantastic, she got us taken care of quickly and was so attentive. After a hip replacement 3 months ago my mother can't be sitting too long so Rachel got us out in a good amount of time and I was just so grateful for her making it a great experience for us despite the rough start. Food was good and we'll definitely be back next spring for our family reunion.

Casual bar with upscale prices in the magnificent hotel. Worth stopping in for a hot toddy in the winter or refreshing G&T in the summer. Step outside and take in an invr double view of half dome

Amazing service! Amazing food! And amazing drinks! We enjoyed it there! I had the turkey chili and my boyfriend had the short ribs. He had some of the local beers and I had the delicious blackberry bourbon smash!

it ain't cheap, the service is friendly even if it isn't particularly fast, but the atmosphere!!!!

and unlike the Ahwahnee dining room, it is causal.

one can truly relax, just exhale after a day of being outside doing whatever.

After a day of hiking in Yosemite Valley it is nice to sit down and have nice drink and some snacks. If you chose to sit outside you can continue to absorbed beautiful nature

Excellent drinks in a cool atmosphere. Rachelle and Lexi could not have been better.

Highly recommend checking this place out but you pay for the experience for sure. The food and cocktails are great but definitely can get the same for less $ elsewhere. However, take some time and explore the inside of the hotel for the history. Charcuterie was pretty dang good and generously sized.

The prices can be a little on the steep side, but you are getting gourmet meals in a national park, so it’s totally okay.

Aside from the construction, it's hard to complain about sitting in a historic and scenic place eating a very nice lunch after a beautiful hike.

Had the chili, burrata, and a few cocktails for lunch - all were amazing. Service was great and it was fun walking around the hotel and grounds.

Great place to grab a cocktail after a day hiking...excellent mai tai! Since 1927

It was a cozy warm place to have a hot drink or any other beverage during a rainy afternoon in yosemite National Park. I felt like home during my visit. The menu for lunch has not plenty of option but the ones in it are really good appetizers like pull pork sandwiches, croissants with chips, soup of the house etc. 4 people around $120.00 bucks check.
