The Mountain Room Lounge

My husband and I (from the UK) have been there twice already and going there again tonight. We both absolutely loved our ribeye steaks! We are going to order them again tonight, I guess)). Medium rare was perfect for us. My husband also ordered colossal prawns for his starter once and those were absolutely delicious. Price-wise we found it relatively reasonable compared to $70 we paid for one medium and one small pizza with two beers in Curry village pizza place in the park. So, for us, it was the only place in the valley to have nice dinners. Mind it is also convenient because we are staying in they valley)).

More than just a relaxing dinner experience. The restaurant is set up in a way that's not crowded, the tables have plenty of room around them. There are tables with a view of a waterfall. Reservations recommended for Friday and Saturday. Although it's an upscale restaurant in food quality and prices, there is no dress code. Some people were dining in shorts and hiking boots.

Great bar in a great location right in the middle of the valley and next to Yosemite valley lodge. Serves great drinks and food in a beautiful ambiance surrounded by mountains, waterfalls and the nature.

Good place to catch a drink in a cold afternoon. The fireplace inside is a bomb. It has real character and the smell of real wood is great.

So we never ordered food or drinks here (vegan options are limited and some of the other spots cater more to this) BUT we bought s'mores makings (marshmallows, chocolate, graham crackers, AND skewers) at the gift shop and the mountain room let us roast marshmallows over their fire. It sounds like this has been discontinued previously for unattended children being around the fire so play nice and it will hopefully continue. Just what we needed after a long day of hiking and plenty to share. Staff was super friendly, especially considering we weren't there to eat or drink. I will also note we were there in the low season in case this is restricted when they are busier. Never hurts to ask!

A very relaxing atmosphere to catch a drink after a hot day hiking or climbing. A whole side full of windows allows for great views of the outdoors.

Great space, and staff are wonderful and caring. Especially Kari (or Corey? Sorry if I butchered the spelling), who is an absolute angel! Just wish it stayed opened until later.

Great bartenders and servers. Really supportive and informative when we shared our park experiences. Great place to catch the Gators football game. They have internet

Lol everyone complainimg about the price can drive the hour to the nearest bar 😂😂😂the fire place is amazing !!

겉에서 봐서는 잘몰랐는데 안에 들어오니 꽤 크고 창이 커서 분위기 좋네요.
안심, 등심, 폭찹 하나씩 먹었는데 다 맛있었고 디저트로 먹은 아이스림과 퐁듀도 좋았어요.
와인 한잔과 레모네이드 포함해서 $ 172 나왔는데 팁을 $ 30이나 줘버렸네요.
