Cool cookie company!! Came by here to check the cookies and left with two boxes. Nice local cookie, pie and light fresh made pastry place in Galt. Good flavored cookies for a great price- AND all locally made. Also they have housemade jams.

Go here every time I am in Galt. Bought a scone and 3 kinda of cookies. Sorry to say the chocolate chip walnut cookies were very bland. Everything else was great

Good cookies they even have the sugar free for those who can't do sugar.

Best pie ever! Don’t be fooled by the humble appearance. Russian tea cakes are exactly how my proper Nana made them. Delicate but not dry, with fine almonds, and nothing left in your teeth. Scrumptious. Will visit here regularly.

So nostalgic! I love the cookies, the antiques, the gift shop, and the lovely ladies who work there. I took my sister Diana and brother-in-law Ray to Spaans today and they fell in love with as I did the first time I went there.

My family has been coming here for years to get their cookies , pies and rolls. Always fresh, delicious and everything i buy gets eaten within days . The women there are always nice , friendly and ready to help you if needed. The holiday almode cookies with the sugar crystals are the best!!

Located in quaint old town Galt. Very nice store. Good staff. Excellent baked goods. Large selection of sugar free cookies too, which is hard to find elsewhere.

Stopped in at Spaans yesterday. What great bakery! They had boxes of 30 cookies to decorate for Easter for $10! One third the price of Walmart. I bought an apple turnover….absolutely delicious. The crust was tender and flaky, practically melted in my mouth. The store is full of wonder gift ideas as well. Support your local bakery.

Excellent customer service. My first time in and they treated me like I'd been a regular for years. They are super sweet. The pies we picked up were AMAZING! If I lived closer, I'd definitely be a regular.

This cookie company is more than just cookies!! Their pies are amazing, and so are the bread rolls. Cookies are really good, and the home made jellies they sell are locally made and amazing!!! Many knick knacks and nice novelties and gift items. They have a really good tea selection as well. Nice people working here too!!

Second time I ordered their delicious rolls for this holiday season..family & friends loved them. The last order I added the lemon w/ white chocolate & ginger snaps..oh my, very yummy 😋..the ladies that work in the shop were friendly & professional..so glad I was told about Spaans❣😁

Very good quality and tasty treats at reasonable prices. I think the costs here are lower than most bakeries and definatly better than Pete's or Starbucks. There are always a wide variety of cookies, and they have a good size selection of sugar free too. Their scones are so good and packed with fruits. I don't like pie, but they have a good selection of those as well. They do special orders in person, by phone and online

Always a treat to enter Spaans. It smells good. The way it is set up looks like an old fashioned bakery. The cookies are made on site next to the store. There are sugar free & others that 'are loaded with sugar' that's what the sign read 😉.

I've tried literally EVERY pie in a 100 mile radius to find one that reminds me of my favorite homemade blackberry pie, and other than The Red Apple that takes 45min or more to get to. THIS IS THE BEST BUTTER CRUST PIE IN NORTHERN CALIFORNIA!! I've also become very fond of the peach pie and custard turnovers also. So if you love a thicker butter crust like I do I just can't say better things about this place. They are more than 5 star baking artists!

First time visiting Spaans Cookie Co., purchased cherry and apricot pies and two types of specialty bread; we just had a slice of the cherry pie, it was delicious! The staff was caring and helpful. I recommend that of you haven't tried it, put it on your bucket list. You'll be glad you did.

Back in 1987, 1988 and 1989 i lived around the corner from Spaan's , my friends grandparents owned a pizza place right down the road. The cookies were bomb, watching the belt through the window with fresh cookies and the smell yum. And the people were cool, used to let me sweep the front and give me a bag of cookies when i didn't have money to buy any. They didn't need to do that, but that kind act i jave always remembered .I love this place, best cookies hands down i have ever had.

That is a great local store. We are from out of state and family in the area told us about Spaans. We stopped in and bought a pie, cookies, and meringue pops. While we were looking at the old Model T, Jim Spaans came over and share some of the history with us. I recommend stopping in and supporting this store.
