River Rock Brewery

The brewery is very cool. The staff and customers are so friendly.
There is a wonderful variety of beer choices. When you go there you have the option to taste test before you have a glass poured.
Excellent quality ingredients used also.

When I went, they had 4 beers on tap, and the standout was their Red. I'm hoping to come back for the stout eventually. The building is really open and it kind of looks like they are still sort of organizing and moving in. Which makes it feel more like visiting a home brewer's place and trying out their beers than most of the commercial tap rooms that open these days.

But there isn't anything wrong with that right? They had seating, they had beer, they even had a pool table. And if you want some homebrew supplies to make your own stuff at home, they have some of that too!

Food was great, beer was great, excellent service. My husband and I each got a flight of beer and we weren’t disappointed. Our favs: honey wheat and oatmeal stout! Our waitress went above and beyond to also meet our needs for food allergies. We will definitely be going back!

Great place. Though it's a micro brewery, it's family oriented serving food...Taco Tuesday's is absolutely the best!! Children are encouraged to play with the toys provided and adults can play cards or board games, I think. Super casual. Hoping this little place sees much success!

Awesome brewery in this small little town. Free pool, foosball, comedy shows every once in awhile, happy hour.... What more could you need?

UPDATE- Ed has been open a while now. My crew and I are regulars. The beer is superb and a mix of traditional and experimental. One of the better pubs in California. Definitely a beer drinkers brewery.

River Rock aka Special Ed's... Ed Mason is well known amongst us locals. Expert in beer making. Today he is still waiting on the Federal Bureaucracy to give him the OK. In a few weeks (fingers crossed) we will be able to have Ed's GREAT beers. Meanwhile, Ed's beers are at Brewster's in Galt or if you are lucky, at his beer maker store.

Great beer, family friendly!

I love this place. Everybody that works here has a great attitude and the beer is superb. I went there today and had two of their double IPA's called haze. They were wonderful. Great place stop in.

Cold fresh beer! Owners and staff always friendly and beer always good. Comfortable atmosphere. Not pretentious.

Hands down the best beer spot on Galt. Staff is supper friendly and the beer is great. Shout out to one of the emoyee, "mason", such a great guy.

Awesome brews for a great price. Jukebox is also hooked up to great speakers.

Mark is a great bartender. He has a million jokes. Beer was good too. On Fridays there is bbq. Real good
