Brewsters Bar & Grill

If I can give this place more than 5 stars I would. The food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We had so much fun here. The 2 guys singing were alot of fun. I'd definitely come back and I hope to see them here again. They really engaged with the audience and brought people together. Truly a hidden Gem.

This was a welcome surprise; tonight was free jazz with a quartet. I was invited to a friend's going away get-together mixer. It was so much fun with folks that appreciated the music, the atmosphere was great, and it was so surprising for being in the City of Galt California.

Made reservations after a wine tasting, glad we did ( not sure how busy they get but we wanted in). We had the steak special, 😋. Plenty of good food, friendly service & the price was reasonable with a adult drink included. Food was so good I took a plate to go for work lunch. There a nice wine cellar view just look down in front of the bar. Friendly locals. Highly recommend trying this spot, they serve wine so after wine tasting, you can continue here. Went back today 08/15/2022 & the place doesn't disappoint. Our server I believe her name was gracy, very attentive & helpful with menu choices. The food was amazing had the venetian chicken very delicious & my wife had the pasta with shrimp very good flavorings. Gonna go back to try more of the menu.

Find it looking for a place to eat in Galt, read the reviews and decided to go and it didn't disappoint. The food was delicious, the best mashed potatoes ever. Gabriel our host was great. Recommend 100%.

We loved this place! What a nice restaurant. They restored it and decorated beautifully.

The food was delicious! The soup of the day was Lobster Bisque (!!!) and it was the best I’ve ever had. Wonderful! We even ordered some extra to take home.

The Hawaiian Burger was excellent: tasty & juicy. Nice teriyaki. Good, hearty bun. But the star was the big slab of griddled ham! Wow! How creative!

The Prime Rib Dip was so incredibly tender. Like butter! The Jus had body and was thick, closer to fond de veau than broth. Nice for dipping!

Staff were nice. The setting was festive and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

The reason 4.5 instead of 5 ⭐:

- Fried Calamari was nice but a skosh too bready. It was mealy and overwhelmed the otherwise very nice squid.

- The side salad was a generous size but the lettuce was old, coarse, and limp. Why let this detail go?? Why make the salad a throwaway item?? If the same attention was paid to the salad as to the rest of the menu, this would be a destination restaurant. It’s that good, otherwise.

- I know times are tough and the economy is squeezing costs, but their price point is too high. They need to bring it down at least 20%. Smaller margins but it would bring in more customers. I’d eat there often but I can’t afford it so it’ll have to be a once-in-a-while thing. Restaurants that want to survive and do a rollicking good business should strive for better affordability which will drive up their regular business.

We went there to take some family there that is not from the area. They fell in love with look, vibe, food. There was a big table that had just ordered but they informed us so we were properly informed and prepared for a possible wait in the food. The prime Rib Sandwich was absolutely delicious. Nice thick cut piece of prime rib with sweet potatoe fries!

We had s great dinner at Brewsters on Saturday night. It was late already but they still served a great meal and the service was outstanding. Definetly recommend stopping by and trying out their Seafood dish.

A classy place for casual people! The beer selection is great and so are the bartenders. They make a pretty stiff drink. The menu I had lots of options and it was reasonably priced. I really liked the chicken Alfredo. The atmosphere is inviting. Lots of space and tall ceilings. You can even see the wine cellar below threw some glass on the floor. I highly recommend stopping for a drink or something to eat if you’re in town

My husband and I visit here to celebrate occasions and it never disappoints. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious we had the Steak and shrimp and the prime rib were delicious. Local owner that really cares for the community.

A wonderful surprise, after a hard day moving.. A "Cheers Bar" friendly feel w/ genuine, not 'fake' service & the Chef's salad was recommended & delicious..

First time visiting this restaurant. Some of the best service and food I have ever experienced. Don't forget to save room for something from the dessert menu. 💜

If you're looking for a great place to grab a bite to eat in Galt, look no further than Brewsters Bar & Grill. This amazing restaurant is located in an outstanding location, and the ambiance is simply unbeatable. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by friendly staff and a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

I have to say, the service at Brewsters is truly outstanding. The staff is always friendly and accommodating, and they go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. And the food - oh my goodness! I had the vegan burger and it was absolutely delicious. In fact, it's the best vegan burger I've had in a long time.

But what really sets Brewsters apart is the owner, Paul. I learned that he's been very instrumental in helping the United Sikhs feeding the homeless program. He donated almost $500 worth of sandwiches each time they went to feed the homeless, expecting nothing in return. He's also been very helpful with fundraising for other community events, such as helping the family of fallen police officers and other local families.

It's clear that Paul has a heart of gold and a true dedication to the community. And his amazing restaurant is the perfect reflection of that dedication. So please, go support this incredible business. You won't be disappointed!

The food here is soooo good. Especially the Bacon Cheese Garlic Fries & the French Dip. The fries were off the hook and we cleared the plate. The French Dip came with plenty of meat and had great flavor. We also got the Cheese steak, and it was OK, but the French Dip is where it's at.

Went for breakfast with a group of 6 adults, and 3 kids. Service and food were both fantastic! We will definitely be back!

Great food and atmosphere! Service was a little slow. 10-15 minutes before server came to the table. Slow to check on us and slow one drink refill/reorder. We were given water by busing staff. Will definitely go again!

First time at Brewsters, my wife and I had a great dinner. Entire staff was awesome. Host greeted us, took us to their outside dining area, we got to pick our table since we arrived before the dinner wave. Our server was awesome, food was fantastic, live music was perfect....we are coming back!!

Was traveling north on 99 and stopped to find a local spot for lunch. It was around 3pm on a Saturday and it wasn't busy at all. Got a spit at the bar and had one of the best club sandwiches I've had in a while. Great menu with a good selection of classic items. If I'm in the neighborhood again I will definitely make another stop.

Stopped on our way to Yosemite. Great service and great food. We had their Famous Burger. Both the burger and fries were very good. Would definitely come here again when in the area.
