Tasty food. Very friendly staff. Poke bowl felt like a dish from 5 star hotel. Looking at the crowd, we got our food very fast.

Great food options. The chicken sandwiches were amazing. We liked the kiosk order system, and the food was ready quickly. The seating was a bit uncomfortable (we had a high top table with benches).

The food here really is great for a national park restaurant. Had the to-go sandwiches for lunch and the teriyaki bowls for dinner. All our dishes were tasty and the prices were not ridiculous.

Found this dining gem in Yosemite. I didn’t know it existed. Visited twice. Dined for dinner on a Saturday then grabbed some lunch on a Wednesday. Very different experiences on both days.
Saturday: We we’re on our way back from the Firefall. We decided on ordering here because there tons of people everywhere and we thought it was going to take a long time to get out of the park and we didn’t want to go hungry. The eatery was very crowded. Long lines. There was one person on mask control. Many options on the menu. Warm soups are perfect on a cold night. I waited over an hour before I had my food in my hands. By this time the crowds exiting the park were gone. So I didn’t mind waiting inside a warm eatery. There was one cashier who seemed overwhelmed with the crowd because she was not so friendly. She was bothered that I asked her what number they were on the orders. The lady directing us to move the line was very patient. All the cooks and servers were nice. No one had smiles though. No complaints there. We had pepperoni pizzas. My pizza was over cooked and hard. I was too tired to complain and wait for another pizza.
~Wednesday: We ordered lunch. We had hamburgers and fires. No lines. No crowds. We got our lunch fast. The cashiers were friendly. Cooks and servers were kind. Everyone had a smile. We had our burgers to go so that we could picnic by the El Capitan by the meadow. The burger would have tasted better eating it warm at the eatery but the view was way nicer by the meadow.

Decision food, very comfortable ordering from the machine - enough time to think your order through.

Base camp eatery is gorgeous! The space is bright, airy, and beautifully designed. The food is also satisfying - I had pancakes with scrambled eggs and sausages. The pancakes were perfectly done - with a slight crispy edge and a fluffy inside.

I’d eaten lunch here a couple times over the years, and the experience was just okay. Today, I ate breakfast here, and the experience was fantastic!

The most significant improvement is the kiosk ordering, which completely eliminated all long lines for ordering. After I ordered, a friendly gentleman who appeared to be posted in the lobby just to answer questions and maybe bus tables let me know where to get my self-serve coffee after I finished ordering at the kiosk. The food was ready by the time I got my coffee, and it was all delicious!!—eggs, bacon, country potatoes, a croissant, and short stack of HUGE pancakes. With the coffee, it all came to $20, which I thought was a steal for that amount of food in the Park. Highly recommend breakfast here!

After hiking from El Capitan picnic area to Yosemite falls we stopped at the base camp eatery for a bite for dinner. They have this down over here with the high volume of guests coming through the park. The options to choose vary from pizza, chicken burgers and fries to Mediterranean style bowls. I went with the chicken burger and fries because it sounded so good after hiking I needed that comfort type food. The fries are crinkle cut and the sandwich was pretty good. Just wish I had some buffalo sauce with it 'cause I like my thangs spicy! Filled up with their vitamin water XXX. Oh yeah and I needed some fiber so I ordered their side salad which was really good a day later.

Incredible vegan food and coffee! i don’t remember yosemite food being so good two years ago. Especially liked kimchi tofu - rare to find such a cool dish even in big city restaurants.

Wow! This the best flavored BBQ pulled pork sandwich, in a LONG time! It kinda messy, I had eat most of it open-faced but intense Great BarBeQue Flavor! Worth what you paid @$7.75!!

Service is usually pretty quick after ordering on the kiosks. The pesto chicken sandwich is the best thing on the menu.

Great place to eat. Good food at a reasonable price and really fast service. Not much wait lines due because of the kiosks. Such a great management in the middle of a national Park.

I'm actually very impressed. Food is good, decor is nice! It's reasonably priced and so far best food selection I have experience in any of NP.

I would give them 6 stars if I can. Staff is all friendly and helpful. They had vegan options at every meal which was really appreciated by us. They also had soy milk for coffee in the morning which is unfortunately rare. Would I have loved more diversity for vegan options and vegan dessert, sure, but they are accommodating a lot of peoples' meal preferences. The gift shop had tons of options to fill any gaps. Great park experience.

I'm camping in Camp #4 and was looking for hot breakfast so I came here. The eggs sausage croissant and potatoes were kitchen hall quality for the $10 it cost. Very hospital quality with no flavor. Luckily it's dishes so no waste was created except for the ketchup condiment paper cup. The coffee was good and I was impressed with the batista area because they had quality milks and flavors. The dining area was clean warm and staff were friendly. Not bad at all before a 8 hour hike!

The eatery has a decent variety of food selection. A good place to get some hot food and coffee.

Pricing is a bit higher than usual but that is expected given the location in the National Park/ wilderness.

The eatery has both indoor and outdoor seating and is self-served.

Reasonably priced and good food which is great in a park - I expected things to be much pricier! Food was served pretty fast and services were great: staff was very friendly.

Good place for a hot meal. This place also has some menu items with meat substitutes.
However they also have pretty tasty beef hamburgers too. Their french fries where great, nice and crispy!
Overall, this restaurant is worth visiting food preparation is fair quick and made to order.
