Kristen always gives me a perfect haircut and also makes me feel like a princess in the process. She is a true master of her craft and I highly recommend her. The spa has a really nice atmosphere as well!

I can't say enough good things about Kristen. I have been going to the same hair stylist for 10 years in Denver. It was the last thing "holding" me to the city and I was ready to let it go. My cousin had been seeing Kristen and her hair looked incredible. I decided to take the plunge and make an appointment.

In all honesty, I was kind of nervous. My previous stylist was amazing, and I was only leaving based on proximity. The moment I walked into Essence, I felt like I made the right choice. The person working the front desk was kind. The space was so stinking cute and the chairs were beyond comfy in the waiting area!

Kristen came to get me for my appointment, and I instantly felt calm. Her approach and attention to detail are remarkable. She made me feel at ease, walked me through exactly what she was doing, took her time, and honestly made me feel pretty damn special. I haven't met someone like Kristen in a very long time and have been thinking about writing this review from the moment I walked out of Essence. Kristen - you are a gem, and I am beyond grateful I decided to take the plunge and try something new! Thank you so very much!

I've been going to Essence for haircuts, style and recently perms for about 10 years now. I'm so grateful to Kim the owner for how special she always makes me feel, and the talent and experience she has. I've not met one stylist or salon staff who isn't welcoming and gracious. The salon itself has so many services to offer and the ambiance is so peaceful and beautiful. I cannot reccomend them highly enough. Treat yourself to a cut or a full day of services, you wont be sorry!

Cannot say enough about this salon, my family loves it! The staff at the front desk are so pleasant and friendly. They make sure they do everything to make you comfortable and taken care of. We see Kristen and she is just amazing. She does a remarkable job with cut and color and is so fun to be with the time just flies by. If you get a chance definitely go!!!

Kim is wonderful. She listens to what I want and if the cut isn't exactly what I had hoped it would be, she fits me in to her busy schedule to make it right. I am particular about my hair, so this is an added bonus for me. The color is always lush, and I love how she massages my scalp when she washes my hair. All in all, Essence Hair and Body Salon is a wonderful place to go!

Essence was perfect for my wedding! As the bride, I did a trial hair do and then my entire bridal party, my mom, and my grandmother came in the day of the wedding to get our hair done.

The top floor of the salon is amazing for the bridal package! Everyone gets mimosas, snacks, chocolate covered strawberries and the entire salon was so nice. We couldn't have asked for more. Even with our big group we were are able to fit downstairs, have hair we were really happy with, and had so much fun.

So excited Ray is waxing in evergreen!! She did a bikini wax on me and is so great at what she does while making you feel completely relaxed.

Emily is amazing! I went in for a haircut last week and needed it to be tweaked a bit. She was wonderfully professional and meticulous. I will definitely be booking my appointments with her from now on. Also, the atmosphere overall is very calm and relaxing. I've finally found "my" salon!

Essence rocks! I've been a client of Kim, the salon owner, for 3 years now after meeting her at a local fundraiser and liking her vibe in addition to a neighbor referring her. Never had a bad haircut and thankfully always get a solid haircut from Kim, despite possibly boring her by always requesting essentially the same style every time (I'm somewhat finicky about my hair so maybe that keeps her interest LOL). Always dig the scalp massage, the complimentary ice tea and snacks and the easy banter shared with Kim. I feel the higher sticker price for a men's cut by Kim is justified because she's predictably good every time, offers a swanky salon that's inviting and relaxing but without stuffy or stuck up attitudes and her location is perfect for me being so close. This place is the best salon in Evergreen hands down.

My daughters and I have been getting our hair cut by the owner, Kim, for years. She is fantastic. Takes a lot of time to give us exactly what we are looking for as we change styles. Very knowledgeable and accommodating. She is the best!

I called this morning and Jonni called me back fairly quickly. I was able to get in for Tight & Bright Facial with Serissa and let me tell you I loved every moment of it. Essence provides a wonderfully relaxing experience, without the pomp and circumstance of a traditional "spa". Kim and Mackenzie are hair and color gurus, I am consistently complimented with my cut and colir, and Gigi is a whiz with her deep tissue and sports massages.

Amazing service, wonderful ambience and diligent attention to detail. Kim takes the time to professionally evaluate your hair care needs while listening to your personal input and preferences. Wholeheartedly recommended!
