New West Physicians, Evergreen Internal & Family Medicine at Arapahoe Peak

Dr. Sorensen is very knowledgeable and has been wonderful to work with. I'm grateful to have him as my doctor. Thank you for always taking care of me.

I go to the evergreen office and I absolutely love my doctor…dr. carol. highly recommend. She pays attention to what I need and treats me with respect and patience.

Was greeted by very friendly front desk staff and was checked in quickly. Wait was minimal before Vicki took me over to take my vitals and place me in a room where she continued speaking with me about the reason I was there and took my blood pressure. She’s always been very friendly while being very professional. Then Monica came in and, as always, she puts me at ease while we not only addressed my reason for being there that day but also discussed my overall health since I am a diabetic. Paige took my needed tests and actually makes me feel okay about being poked! Ha!
I have never liked going to the doctor but I’ve confidently gone to Arapahoe Peak for many years. I find that EVERYONE in the office have always been extremely nice and helpful. I’ve always felt comfortable with the care given in regards to any medical issue I have had.

Update: I had been experiencing Covid symptoms so my husband scheduled me an appointment. I entered a separate door and the Dr and nurse were covered head to toe with PPE. My visit was very professionally done with compassion and care. I’m very grateful and would highly recommend New West Physicians Arapaho’s Peak Health Center to everyone I know!

Every experience I have had with this clinic has been good. The PA's have been great. I have had no issues with, and don't feel like the clinic is just after money. The staff seems to truly care about your health and I wouldn't hesitate for a minute to choose them. Keep in mind they do run an urgent care as well as primary care. Better run then any other clinic in Evergreen I've tried to use for primary care.

I've been going to Arapahoe Peak for easily 10 years and have not been disappointed yet. I have visited with several doctors there such as James Hutcherson or Kristen Gonzalez and especially nurse practitioners such as Susan Bradshaw. I'm never made to wait very long now that they've been in the new office. The front reception staff are fabulously friendly and helpful whether it's over the phone or in person. Don't be late because you will have to reschedule. a gig no no.

Prior: The conversion and training didn't help my blood pressure. My original physical appointment got lost, but with the help of the lady who answered the phone, she caught it & got me rescheduled for the same day. Everyone was super nice, as they always are! I believe I laughed with everyone I encountered. And Dr. Kristen listens & understands & she gave me great news regarding my BP & overall health. And to top it off your phone system is working!!!

After feeling shuffled around by family practitioners for many years I feel at home at Arapahoe Peak. They were accommodating, welcoming, and able to fit me in last minute, while also practicing amazing cleanliness and safety during this crazy time. I love this doctor's office. I would recommend to anyone.

Dr. Randy has been my physician for almost 20 years. He cares for me like he would a family member. I recommend him to anyone. His kind,gentle manner and great sense of humor makes doctor visits a pleasure. The entire staff is pretty special as well.

I was greeted by a very friendly staff member and she explained the safety protocols and made me feel very welcome. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. The visit was thorough but not too long. I feel confident that I chose a good practice for all of my medical needs.

I see Sue Bradshaw when I need medical advise. She is great! I have never had a medical professional make me feel so cared for. She really listens to what is going on and never makes me feel rushed. She researches options and asks for your input on what your ideal results are. She is collaborative with my health and I really appreciate that.

I love the physicians and PAs at Arapahoe Peak. I feel the add of New West has presented only a negative presence. I was getting stitches removed on Friday and has the bookkeeper storm my room with her sick child (awaiting flu test) to make me pay my co-pay. I have been in the ER twice since beginning of year. I have hit my deductible. But now that the practice is occupied by corporate priorities I was forced to pay co-pay. The worse part was her son touched everything in room including disposable gloves doc use, ever counter top and the table i was on.

I’ve been a patient since 2003. That doesn’t mean anything any longer.

I came in for a personal and urgent appointment. I requested a female Dr and they met my needs. Sue Bradshaw was excellant and made me feel comfortable, as well as nurse Tiffany, the front desk gal and the very first intake nurse. Sorry I can not remember your names. But everyone made me feel comfortable in a very stressful situation. Thank you!

Sue Bradshaw is a wonderful Nurse Practitioner that family members and I have seen several times. She genuinely cares about her patients. She explains things well and doesn't rush you. I trust her. Highly recommend seeing her!!

Updated on March 10, 2020; An unknown eye issue came up on the morning of March 5, 2020. I called and got an emergency appointment with my Primary Care doctor at 2:40 PM. Dr Gonzalez was so concerned for myself and my eye issue that she immediately and quickly got an appointment for me with Dr Daniel R. Hock at the Evergreen Vision Clinic. She handed me a small folded note, with information needed, which touched my heart, and she told me to get moving over to the clinic! Dr Hock looked at my eye and also made an immediate appointment for me with Colorado Retina in Golden. Dr Curtis Hagedorn looked at my eye more in depth on March 6, and gave me more information on the issue. The issue is still ongoing, with a 2nd appointment at Colorado Retina set for March 13.

I highly recommend Dr Kristen Gonzalez!! She has been my doctor for 15 years! She is the best!! She cares, can be stern at times about my health, compassionate, and even funny!!

But they are all wonderful!! I'm very blessed to have Dr Gonzalez and New West as my Primary Care facility!! Lastly, new employees have been hired as of November 2019. Customer Service is friendly and helpful!!

We were visiting Evergreen and I come down with 'acute altitude' illness. I could not breathe and thought that I was having a heart attack. Because the Arapahoe Peak Health Center was close by, my husband drove me there. I was seen and had tests done right away. The nurses and the doctor were extremely dedicated to my cause. Without a doubt, we were treated with great respect and certainty. Thank you to the staff. Evergreen is very fortunate to have such a quality service. I rate them 'EXCELLENT' in every way.

My wife, who is a nurse, and I have had Dr. James Hutcherson as our primary care physician for the past 8 years. He is fantastic! In his personal care, his expertise, his medical wisdom, and in his attention to detail. In my 70 years of experience with many good doctors, I've never had better! This last annual physical was another example of that!

I was a first time patient in September with Monica. She was extremely knowledgeable with every question I had for her. I also owe her a lot. I had a issue with my lymph nodes in my throat and she sent me to an ENT. I had a CT scan done with that ENT and he found out that I had a brain aneurysm. Immediately he gave the results to Monica and she did everything she could to get me an urgent appointment to a specialist. I am a young mom with 4 kids and extremely shaken and scared with this diagnosis however Monica was extremely knowledgeable about my situation and insured me I am going to be ok. Monica and Vicky are a great team and very sweet as well they helped me to be calm during a very scary diagnosis. Thank you both.

The entire staff is so nice, which is what everyone needs when you feel bad & are worried as to what is wrong with you. When I broke my arm & was moaning with pain I could tell from the look on everyones face they all felt bad for me. Thank you.

Dr. Hutcherson has been great to me. He listens. He is very thorough. He always makes eye contact with me & laughs when I try to be funny. God bless you all.

Dr. Gonzales really cares about her patients and I appreciate how she listens and I never feel rushed. This whole office has the best doctors, nurse practitioners, nurses, and office staff. I especially appreciate the fact that I can do telehealth appointments during this pandemic!

Dr. Hutcherson has been providing me with OUTSTANDING care for almost 20 years. He and his staff render only the finest patient service. After moving from Evergreen seven years ago, I now drive 45 minutes each way to visit Arapahoe Peak, but it's well worth the drive!
