PL International Market

I think the new name is El Torito. It is much bigger on the inside. It had the feel of a family-owned grocery market. It was wonderful. The prices were low. The selection was excellent. The staff was friendly and the deli in the back was able to accommodate any cuts I needed, even the frozen meats. Great grocery destination and authentic ethnic Mexican feel. I loved it. It is my go-to shop
now.

This market has everything you need from fresh produce, meats, pan dulce( Mexican Bread, Fresh Guacamole and wonderful, delicious hot food items prepared for u right there!!Fantastic food!! Reminds me of my familia and my home town n San Jose!! Oh they even have a gold repair shop and sell gold items in the store as well!!

Favorite place to buy al pastor in bulk in oregon. 3.99 a lb feeds my kids tons of tacos and quesadullas for days. They always have what I'm after the 6 or more times I have stopped In here.

People are nice, I like that I can grab some Mexican bread here, and they have items that are difficult to find other places.

Salsa is fantastic, great selection of meats and cheese

Great market. As soon as you walk in you are greater by a jeweler working with his torch and tools.
You then see the hot fresh food court.
As you walk around the store the shelves are full and neatly organized.
Go to the back and you'll find a butcher shop with everything from fresh made cerviche to soup bones.
Check these guys out and you'll enjoy everything they have to offer.
Also a great breakfast burrito 🌯 for under $2, enjoy.

Love their homemade chorizo. You can find all the Mexican meats you can think of, we stock up the freezer every time.
The burritos are fantastic perfect for the ride home.

We always stop and pick up some of their carnitas, salsas, and fresh tortillas. They are very good. We also stock up on their fresh chorizo, they make a few different kinds.
The store is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful.

I love it. Great fresh cut meat selection. Great prices. Able to get all things for great Mexican food. Have a little restaurant spot inside. It's awesome, love this place. Their homemade charizo is awesome!

My go-to place for bulk peppers. Always friendly and professional service. Suppose I should try their prepared food sometime. ;-)

Ok meats ok with good selection of marinated offers. Contrary to what the name implies, it's nowhere near international. More of a Mexican shop with some Latin american products. The cooked food I'd cheap and very good, 10 tacos for $10!! Love their food

This has always been a staple, has so many food options including a little restaurant with amazing tacos, and decent environment.

i used to get the chicken burrito when i worked near there in 2006/7. it was the best i've EVER had! the taqueria was great, the employees were very nice and personable, and that was the 1st place i tried jarritos mineragua soda. i stopped there so many times i started getting produce and basics to take home after work.

i regret that i didn't try the homemade corn tortillas now that i make huevos rancheros... as i live in texas now. when i get back to eugene this will DEFINITELY be one of the places i go to. everyone in eugene should try the taqueria, it's awesome.

Amazing prices, fabulous selection, and even better employees. On top of all that they gave a fantastic taquira on sight, amazing prices there as well and DELICIOUS food! Love this place, would give it ten stars of i could.

Best latin butcher i know of in either Eugene or Springfield. Nice little restaurant inside with excellent food. Cheapest limes you can find anywhere. Great chorizo and fajitas con pollo in the butcher. They ALSO have a nice little selection of Middle Eastern and Asian canned goods.

Do yourself a favor and drop in. The fajitas and chorizo in the butcher are worth it alone.

Plaza Latina has the best Mexican Food in Eugene. It's stellar.
This is a very casual taqueria to the side of the supermarket - most people in Eugene don't even know it's there.

It's all good - you can't go wrong - but a few shout-outs.

- Birria - weekends only. Awesome. Worth the trip.
- Grilled Chicken - weekends only - reminds me of Pollo Loco in SoCal - excellent.
- Fresh tortillas, made on site.
- The usual awesome tacos, burritos, etc.
- Anything with pastor (bbq pork)

- And of course, the mind-blowing salsa verde. It's got some heat. I know there's some habanero in there, and I think some opiates, because I'm if I don't have some at least every couple of days I start getting itchy.
Take some home - it will keep for a couple of days before it starts to separate - mix some in your eggs, or anything you want to eat. Try it with a PB&J - it's that good.

SoCal Mexican food in Eugene!!! If you're like me and thought you had to go back to Cali for good mexican food, this is your new Mecca! Better than any Albertos, Filibertos, Albertacos, or whatever taco shop you're used to.

Oregonians seem to think mexican food comes from places called Taco Time or Burrito Boy, has "sour cream sauce" on it, and that guacamole is as pale green and runny as my 3 year old's snotty nose. Not here! This is real mexican food. Buy some of their marinated carne asada meat to cook at home and impress your friends.

Anyone who gives this less than five stars doesn't know what Mexican food should taste like!!
