Hitching Post Lodge

A phenomenal opportunity to be within easy walking distance of St. John’s Health. I had to travel alone and have surgery and really appreciate the convenience and fact that the space was well-appointed and quiet. The only item I neglected to bring from home was a hairdryer but managed just fine without one. Yes, the cabins are older but well cared for and clean. There were very kind and comforting extra touches throughout my room including an extra blanket and a throw blanket that was like a giant sweater; this was much loved and appreciated recovering from anesthesia that made me feel ever so cold. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Thank you to St Johns health for allowing us the opportunity to stay here for one night at a affordable price. Definitely they were a blessing to us, my Pastor need to spend one night at the St. Johns , we were just passing by to go see Yellowstone park when she got sick. All the hotels around this area are super expensive, thank God for St. Johns agreement with this lodge we were able to stay in and pay an amazing price for such an amazing place. Super cute, lots os space, super friendly service. Lovely town.

I need emergency surgery...I was lucky to be in Jackson when it happened. While the hospital took care of me. Maria (sweet-boss lady of the lodge) took care of my 3 kids. She brought them food, ice cream, checked in on them. It was above & beyond...We were only suppose to be there 1 night but it took 3 nights to heal--she made room for us. The cabins with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, electric RECLINER(-saved me), TV, etc.-were perfect. Not modern but it's a log cabin& the decor felt appropriate. You can tell the staff put a lot of effort into the property...it's cute! We couldn't be more grateful for Maria & her staff!! I would stay here again! I would recommend it in a heartbeat❤ thank you for your kindness!

After hours service, midnight, helping my daughter and friend into a room after a hiking accident was incredible. They assisted the two until we were able to get to Wyoming to get them home. Could not be happier with this facility. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy, simple cabins close to the hospital.

I had to come into Jackson to be seen at the hospital. As I was being released last night, I said that I couldn't drive the hours back to where I lived and the ER nurse gave me a card. I called and Lindsey (I believe) was so helpful getting me booked. This accomodation could not have been more welcome or better. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thank you for providing such a service.

Stayed there many times for medical reasons. Always clean and we're so glad it's available since we live 3 hrs away.

Perfect place, but it is ONLY for patients or family members who are staying or have appointments at the hospital. They recognize they have tourists from out of town suddenly needing hospital services and so they have these on hand. Everything you need (except shampoo and conditioner) and everyone is helpful. Thank you.

The Cabins are modern with the quintessential western feel. The staff are accommodating and kind. The entire area is a smoke free environment as well. Very pleasant stay!

My husband had surgery, we were able to go the night before so he could be there at 6 am, then keep our room for his overnight stay in hospital. We are only a block away so if there are problems you're there. You do have to be going to the hospital for some reason they track it by doctors.

Hitching Post Lodge is associated with St. John's Hospital. They provide cabins for families when someone has a medical emergency. I don't believe this location rents out the cabins to regular tourists. The cabins are spotless. They have microwave and refrigerators. There is a laundry room on the property. We are very happy with Hitching Post Lodge.

What a great place to stay at! It was very clean and comfortable. The low rate is SO nice!! I will definitely stay here again if needed!

This is the ideal home away from home while you’re visiting loved ones across the street at Sage. I stay here every time I come to Jackson.

Private hospital hotel for visitors of patients. Duplex cabin setups with dedicated parking spot. Rustic comfy feel, very clean.

Very nice staff. Room was clean. Beds and bathroom sink were very high.

Because they bend over backwards for the patients of St Johns hospital in Jackson, WY. You have to be a patient to stay here and they are friendly and helpful.

If you have surgery at St John's, this is where you stay. So convenient & comfortable

Love this place ( you have to be seeing a Dr @ Teton Orthopedics to stay here) ! 1/2 block from Teton Orthopedics, grate Dr's !!!
