Jackson Hole Historical Society and Museum

Very informative nice museum. A must see for history of Jackson, the Tetons and the people who founded and developed the area. The hotess/greeter is super nice! Amazing selection of books! Highly recommend!

Wonderful educational experience in Jackson! Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area. There was a wonderful traveling exhibit of the woman from Jackson Hole including the woman's basketball team from 1910. I would recommend stopping by when in the area.

Welcoming attitude by the employees, the museum is also very information packed with oodles to discover. It was a pleasure learning more about wonderful Jackson hole!

The staff was friendly, the videos were educational, and altogether we had a great time! It wasn't too crowded either, which meant we could really relax in the quiet and learn about the area.

Really neat stop for exploring local Jackson Hole history, include Native Indian atifacts and the founding of Marons ridge.
Kids can complete a scavenger hunt too.

My kids enjoy looking at everything, gift shop has wonderful finds, awesome book selection and the people who welcome you are so genuine and kind! On the first Tuesday of the month this summer there is a special storytime!

Great place to lean about the area! The woman working there was very generous with her time. She pointed out some thing she thought we might be interested in and we got a lot more out of our experience because of her knowledge and enthusiasm!

Small museum with lots of artifacts, books and information about Jackson Hole.

Perfect place to spend about an hour if you want some brief insight into the area. I thought it was well worth it. Be sure to walk down the hall behind the register to see some great historic photos.

We stopped here while on vacation. The lady behind the counter was nice and very knowledgeable. It was eye opening on how the early settlers lived.

It should be a must see for any age.

Very knowledgeable staff, and helpful. Steve walked me though a lot of the artifacts and had intricate detailed information about each one. Probably the best place to get a lot of the real stories behind Jackson.
