I bought some hiking boots here, they are great. And the guy that helped me was very knowledgeable and helpful. Would shop here again.

A guy named Will from the Bay area in California helped my wife & me out. The guy knew his outdoors stuff inside, outside, & side-to-side. Really impressed with the store. We only made a small purchase - $80? But when, in the future, I need to replace anything important in my backpacking & hiking setup, I'd definitely come here first. :-)

Had some time to kill on a Sunday morning before driving back to Salt Lake City, so hopped in to check out this store. Very nice setup. When we went in early September, there were lots of nice running and hiking shoes on sale. Good sampling of all the camping essentials on the second floor too. Staff was nice and kept inquiring if we needed any help.

Awesome Store with Very Knowledgeable Sale Assistant, Charlie! We went in just to check things out and left happy after spending almost $400 for great hiking shoe and hiking sticks! Thanks to Charlie! Price also the same as Amazon and the best part is with human touch! Loved this store so much and I give our highest recommendation!

A great example of the importance of supporting local, independent businesses in Jackson so they can continue to employ stellar folks in the community. I went in one afternoon and employee Wade spent time talking to me about what boots might work best for me and explaining the pro/cons of models. (Worth noting that I also witnessed Wade calmly and professionally handle a very rude customer while continuing to visit with other folks.) Two days later I had time to come back to try on boots. Employee Levi spent a committed amount of time helping me fit and dial in which models would work best for me. Levi gave me plenty of time to try on boots and patiently showed me some unique fit tips on each boot I tried. Between the knowledge of Wade and Levi, for the first time ever I was able to find a pair of ski boots that I love. At check out, although I did not get her name, the employee at the register was pleasant and excitedly chatted about my choice in boots. My thanks to all of the employees for making my experience a great one.

Great staff and decent sales on name brands. Good customer service and love the variety of clothes and shoes.

Jackson mounted my new bindings in a really solid and professional way, and he also without me asking took care of a few other issues with my gear. Teton Mountaineering has a super solid selection and really great staff. I'll come back for anything I need.

Stopped by this store while in town. Grabbed my husband a pair of shorts and shirt for his birthday. Found an amazing selection of womens clothes on sale as well. The young blonde cashier lady was amazingly helpful kind and in great spirits. I know it's extremely hard to find good people. Keep her and pay her whats she's worth. She will keep customers coming back time and time again. ❤❤

Beat outdoor retail store in the valley! Great selection, prices, and advice!

Great outdoor apparel and mountaineering store! Been around for 50-years they know what they are doing! We went in early September and they had lots of great sales on great outdoor apparel brands. A nice shopping stop when in Jackson!

This is a great little shop for outdoor adventure items. They have a good selection of mountaineering items such as cams, rope, etc. The staff here were extremely friendly and helpful with information on the pros and cons of different equipment.

Their prices are reasonable but they had a sale going on with great prices when I was there! Going back right before I leave so I can get some outerwear and other gear.

I love this store. Solid variety and very helpful staff. They even have small climbing features so you can get a feel for your gear before you walk out the door. It's now my go to spot for gear in the area.

Such a great shop! My friend found the perfect Flylow bibs she had been dreaming about, and the nice fellow in the Hawaiian shirt helped me pick out a great memento for my climber-friend back home. Highly recommended.

We stopped by here today to get hiking shoes. The salesperson, Jared, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and showed us several pairs that he thought would work best for us. The store is inviting and has a lot of great products for outdoor activities. Highly recommend!!

These folks are super knowledgeable and just the nicest. Helped me at crazy affordable prices with a boot fit. I have also bought climbing gear and discount off-season clothing from them, all with great success. Thank you! This will definitely continue to be my go-to spot in town.

The staff were very helpful getting me into some alpine touring boot demos. I am totally new to this gear, and they helped me set up the bindings on my newly acquired skis to work with their demo boots. The two guys who helped me were patient and really knew their stuff. Highly recommend.

The staff were so knowledgeable and kind and helped outfit us for a camping adventure in the Tetons. They didn’t upsell and even suggested purchases at neighboring stores to save money (advice we didn’t take because we really liked their store!)
We used our purchases for our entire trip and will definitely be returning next year!

Shopping here was a great experience. The regular prices were reasonable, and the sale prices were even better. Every employee who saw us said hello and asked if we needed anything (except the grumpy looking blonde girl at the climbing shoes counter, but there's one in every crowd). This place is worth a stop for your outdoor needs.
