Captain D's

We were able to order ahead. Our food was hot and ready when we got there. Everything was fresh and delicious. We're never disappointed. The prices are good too.

This is the good captain Ds. Straight up. If that cat with the dreads is cooking its gonna be fire and you know it every time. Been here a couple times now, hot food, good food, and the staff makes me laugh so try dining in.

Always a great experience When I come to this Captain D's! The staff is always nice and friendly and they make me feel welcomed. Anybody else If you ain't know which apartment I was in the counter associate was very knowledgeable and gave me the information I needed to make a decision on what I wanted to eat. I will be coming back soon.

The food was hot and good! The workers are phenomenal as they ensure customers are confortable and have what they need.

Paid 6 dollars for two orders of okra and received 10 okra pieces.

Moved back to Virginia recently so hadn't had Captain D's in probably close to 20 years. It's as good as I remember and the fish was hot and fresh and the employees were friendly. My 7 year old said it's the best fish he's ever had.

Great Food, Friendly Staff And Bright/Clean Restaurant.

Pre ordered, was raining so employee brought order out back door near drive thru.

The food is hot and freshly prepared while you wait. The lobster bites were on the salty side. They were okay but nothing to write home about. The clam strips and shrimp were good. I'd buy those again.

The staff were nice and greeted and thanked us. The dining area and bathrooms are clean.

They do stay open until 11PM on Friday and Saturday.

The ladies working at this place are great. They aren't fast like other fast food chains, but my order is always right and my food is hot. The place is always clean.

We enjoyed our country style fried fish dinners. They were so big, we had the leftovers for dinner that night. They have the best baked potatoes!

The ladies at the counter were very nice and friendly. They were very helpful when we asked for more tartar sauce.

The atmosphere was SUPER!! They were playing the best Motown songs. We were enjoying ourselves so much, we hated to leave. We look forward to going back!

As you can tell from the picture the shrimp, fried okra and hush puppies were great!
They're closed for eat in but the food was still delicious😃

I think we've only had one time in 6 years where the food was not good. And we come 2-3 times per month, sometimes more depending on where we are in town that day. Staff is friendly (and so funny). Just love it here.

Shout out to the staff at Captain D's North Chesterfield! At my parents request we had Valentine's lunch here. From the beginning to the end of our experience the staff was friendly and helpful. Our meals were served hot and quickly. We had the catfish feast and lobster roll dinner splitting two meals between the three of us. Serving size was plentiful. Staff came by the table twice to see if we needed anything and that we were happy with our meals.
The story doesn't end here. My mother lost her hearing aid at some point during our day so I retraced our steps looking for it. When I went in and asked if it had been found, the staff moved the table and booth seats where we sat, helped me look around the bathroom floor and even offered to search the parking lot with me. Unfortunately we didn't find the hearing aid, but my heart is filled with gratitude at the kindness of the employees. Thank you!! We will be returning for another meal soon.

OMG this is the best seafood experience ever!!! Everything is delicious on the menu all the way down to the condiments. Dang cocktail sauce is so good it makes you want to order more food! Staff is awesome and even Sam treats us like family! We have found our weekly favorite and likely will not even be waiting a week between visits! 😋😋😋😋😋😍😛😝😘😜💯

I have been eating aat Captain D's since the chain began. Always enjoy the food choices. By far, this location exceeds my expectation. Friendly, curteous staff; clean, well maintained dining room; and excellent food.

Nice atmosphere vand the drive thru was awesome, no wait whatsoever.

Love the food. The server appeared to be having an off night. A bit slow, no interaction. Took a bout 10 minutes to go through the line. Did not mind the wait. Wanted a little conversation with the girl at the window. Most people a least say hello when u say hello, thank you and hope they are having a good day. Hope she has a better day tomorrow. Still I love Captain D'S, the food has always been good.
