The staff was very nice in helping us with our orders. I asked what they recommended as it was my first time there and they gave specific items that I might instead of just saying general stuff. The food was great and they even brought it to our table since we were dining in. Everything was clean and they had spacious tables so nobody was on top of each other. I’ve passed this place so many times and was not disappointed when I finally stopped. It’ll be my to go to place after work and to bring my friends. Thanks for the welcoming service and yummy food!

We ordered the small family special and it comes with fries, hush puppies, shrimp, fish and a gallon of tea. Employees are very friendly and sweet. I would definitely go back because of great service and food!

I love this place, don't go as often as I really would like more due to the fact that in a shopping center as it is, I don't think about it. It's also "out of my route", and are either not going that far, or going somewhere past it. I usually meet my wife there for lunch when she is near there, and calls me.

We finally found some bomb tacos out here! Being from San Diego, CA and after living in NM and TX for over 2 years really raises the bar in Mexican food. Looks like it'll be seafood Mexican food while I am out here! Yum. I really like the shrimp tacos (spicy with mango sauce).

The Shrimp Shack is a simple spot with some tasty shrimp. The Monster Mahi is pretty good too as well. I enjoyed my sweet potato fries were nice as well. I'd like to try some other things on the menu as well and I'm not even a seafood.

Excellent service, the people behind the counter and bringing out food are top notch. Delicious food. It was my first time there tonight and I am definitely about to become a regular. Thank you for coming to our neighborhood!

I've been to this location twice. Both times, the food was great. I tried the fish and skrimp basket with hush puppies on my first visit. The fish was hot and fresh, the skrimp were big and juicy. Beware, if you order hush puppies as a side, you will get plenty to share. There must have been 8 or 9 big hush puppies. Second visit, I went for the fish sandwich. OMG. There were FIVE fish fillets on my whiting sandwich, enough for 2 sandwiches. I really liked the buns they use also. They are big and sturdy and great for holding onto all that seafood. Service was fast and friendly. Definitely recommended.

Only my 2nd visit, but I'm in love with the great food, the service and the cozy-rustic place. Love the Jumbo Shrimp Basket and Hush puppies with Tartar Sauce. Had been looking for something like this in RVA and I finally found it, indeed! Only wish it was open on Sundays!😌😌

Have not stopped by in over a year. I was pleased with the food and price of the combo. I will be back. To quote DJT.

Do yourself a favor, eat your next meal here! After one bite, you’ll be hooked. The portions are great & the prices can’t be beat. If you’re a fan of banana pudding, theirs is the best. On top of the delicious food, the staff are friendly and professional. Skrimp Shack is now my favorite fast food place to eat fish!

Love love love it. I never knew they made sandwiches that good. The big cat sandwich is the bomb.

So I rarely leave reviews but I had to today! Honey!!! This food was so delicious, I thought I made it myself. I ordered the fish (whiting) basket with fries and hush puppies….oh and a side of crab meat. (I know I’m greedy!😆) I also got a sweet tea. Everything arrived fresh and hot. That fish was cooked to perfection. The crabmeat was fresh and delicious! The hush puppies were also delicious and much appreciated since I am from up north. Finally, the sweet tea was so refreshing and perfectly sweetened. I work from home so to get more than your money’s worth delivered fresh and hot is a luxury that I do not take for granted! Thank you Skrimp Shack…you have made my day! Sorry I don’t have any pics…that food didn’t have a chance!

This is my favorite restaurant!! Since i've been pregnant with my son my only craving is Skrimp Shack Mac and Cheese, its incredibly creamy, better than Panera's mac and cheese and you get more for half the price! The staff is so friendly, I love them!

Food is always hot and the place is always clean. They let me call ahead to order which is a plus. I really like their fried shrimp. Banana pudding and brownies are also really good. Sweet tea is classic southern sweet tea which is the best.

Oh My, just looking for something good but different and they fit the bill completely. I really enjoyed the food. Got the family pack and it was perfect. I am going back the next time I am in the area it's a done deal....

I found out about this place about a month ago. All I can say is "I love the Catfish basket". The Shrimp & the Hush puppies are tasty as well.
If you haven't tried their app it's a great way to beat the wait by ordering in advance.

Wow! First visit for the haddock samwich was amazing. Next visit we ordered the haddock basket which was equally great!
So much enjoyment in haddock again.

What a fun atmosphere!! The staff was friendly; the cashier very helpful with suggestions. The decor is simple, as is most seafood restaurants, but tasteful, even fun. There was a mixture of ethnicities among the patrons, which, in my opinion always speaks highly of an establishment. For still being cautious during this pandemic, they drew a steady stream of eat-in patrons and order out patrons. Honestly. this is our new favorite eatery! Our first time will NOT be our last!
