Very helpful, they do their best to assist with food and nutrition. Staff and volunteers are friendly, and the wait time is quite reasonable when considering how many people are being served as well as the coordination of site/locations and volunteers they manage throughout the county.

Unbelievable organization that provides innumerable provisions of quality food to those in need in Chesterfield County. They are always in need of donations and volunteers throughout the week. Whatever time and energy you would like to give (as an individual or a group) is warmly received and welcomed. Friday nights typically see over 700 families drive through.

The best resource for families in need. Well worth the wait to come early . Also Well Organized and plentiful of items . Fresh fresh fresh veggies fruit and frozen meat and snacks.

I took a friend to pick up some food. It starts at 5 but get there like 330 or 4 to get a good place in line. If you can't don't rush there is plenty to go around. I LOVE this place. The people were super nice and generous. I had a great time here! It's decorated like a barn. They had a raffle prayer and snacks. They give away a shopping cart full!!!!

They're very nice people, they help the community by giving families who are in need. :)

This place has helped me more then I'd like to admit and there volunteers are amazing they were literally sent from God.

We are in trying times with our family of 7. The staff is so patient, gracious and understanding. I was put at ease because I was slightly embarrassed. The food is fresh, nothing expired. A bit of a wait of course, but well worth it. When I get back on my feet, I'll volunteer there. They saved our Christmas!

I'm am beyond blessed and thankful to these amazing volunteers and workers at the Chesterfield food bank they have helped my family many different times and without there help I really don't know what or how I would have feed my four children. Thankyou to every single one of y'all and the selfless volunteers.

Today was my first day going to any type of food bank at all and the process was really easy you stay in your car the entire time and they give you a form to fill out with your name address and other people you are picking up for other people in the household and then you just wait for them to come through ask you for your ID and put a tag in your windshield and then you drive through and they place the food in your trunk for you I got way more than I expected I'm only picking up for two adults and we got enough that will probably last us for two weeks if we do it right I was really pleased with the experience and if you are worried or hesitating about going please don't I almost cried afterwards having a resource like this in times of need it was relieving

It's amazing that 100's of families are reliant on and can depend on, the community who volunteers every day to sort, organize the complete process! And it runs so smooth. Corporations could learn a thing or two about organization & genuine team work! Praise GOD!

The friendly and welcoming people here are so helpful and so dedicated to trying to make things right for those in need. The amount of food aid they give to each family was an astounding surprise to me. Breads and meats and fruits and veggies and food for the little ones...praise God for the Chesterfield Food Bank.

Nice, organized and the hope when life is hard, I even got flowers to enjoy at home, I got food that lasted a whole week, eating well and nourishing, forced me to check those recipes books to use all I got and cook tasteful recipes to eat and to freeze.

I'm on a fixed income. Social Security is my only means. The Chesterfield Food Bank has been a Blessing to me. Meeting so many people in the situation I'm in and people giving their time for each of us has a wonderful giving spirit. I always get more than enough and I share with neighbors. This food bank gives and turns no one away. In this inflation driven economy everyone could use a hand sometimes and maybe more often for others, check their website for a distribution day and place near you if you need it. Also, if you don't please don't steal from someone that may need it to actually put food on their tables!

Awesome place to get some very needed food in these difficult time, the staff and all the volunteers, including Chesterfield county police department are just great, perfect place to volunteer if you have the time and want to do volunteer your time to something good, or even for kids that want some working experience.

What an incredible organization. They are so efficient and well run. The process once in motion really doesn't take that long. They are awesome for helping out as many people as they do.

The very most friendly staff and they will do everything possible to provide food assistance for any chesterfield county resident in need for as long as you need! They receive top qualify food items to give you in a shipping cart filled to overflowing.They do have a registration process & require a picture ID & proof of residence.
