Don Papa Grande

I only had chips and salsa. My wife had the fish tacos and thoroughly enjoyed it. Hood value for the money, our server Cris was fantastic. I might venture to try a Mexican style taco as those are naturally Gluten free.

We enjoy coming here for lunch on Fridays before my physical therapy. Cleibur is the young man that we always get when we dine. Good food great prices. But if this one waiter come back over here and call me HONE-T we got a issue. Just answer my one like question without being extra extra

First time eating here and hands down, this is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. Our experience was outstanding. Such an extensive menu I had a hard time deciding what to order. The drink menu was just as extensive and had a lot of great choices as well. The Mexican trash can will have you more than tipsy. Even the waiter gives you a warning and cautions you when ordering. The coctel de camaron was delicious. The tomato base is quite flavorful. The chorizo taco was tasty and not too spicy. The chorizo was fried with a slight crisp just how I like it👌🏼 The fish tacos were amazing. I do not typically order fish tacos but I am so glad I did. The grilled tilapia was cooked perfectly and the chipotle dressing was the perfect finish to the tacos. The white rice was the best rice I’ve had from any Mexican restaurant in this area. Texture and seasoning was on point. Restaurant has plenty of seating. It was not understaffed. Fast and Attentive service from our waiter. Best of all, great prices compared to other Mexican restaurants. Portions are huge. The Ambiance is your typical Spanish decor, darker lighting. I can’t wait to come back.

I've been here after work to get margaritas with coworkers, but recently went there to try the food. Great ambience, a lively happy place, fun decorations, and nice people who work there. My friend who had never been there before had a blast! We mostly just got appetizers to go, but my friend was really happy with his chicken quesadilla. We will definitely go back for dine-in next time!

Good food, good service and since it was too cold inside the atmosphere outside was beautiful. Portion sizes were more than adequate.

I love this place! Always good food and excellent drinks. The guacamole with shrimp is one of my favorites. The food is always good. I love the burrito trejano.

I have nothing bad to say about this place. People are very friendly, food is delicious the atmosphere is lovely, prices are decent. I highly recommend.

My best friend and I were looking for a new place to try. So, when we walked in it was clean and smelled great. The menu was fabulous and the server explained the menu so well. (Side note, the best salsa I’ve had in VA) I ordered fajita nachos and she ordered Pollo Jalisco, both delicious. I can’t wait to go with our friends and hit the bar!! This is our new go to spot.

Always a great choice for lunch or dinner. Their staff is friendly and professional, the food is fresh , hot and appetizing. Great atmosphere!

This place has pretty good Mexican food. We got takeout for my birthday. Other than the food not being hot for obvious reasons, it was tasty. I got enchiladas verse. I liked the chips and salsa. The guacamole was a bit limey. I didn’t care for the white salsa. Tasted like ranch to me. Would eat there again.

This place has a front and back entrance the front entrance I recommend for senior citizens that have difficulty walking. Food was good. Service was good. We will definitely go back.

My sister 21st bday....they made it AWESOME...Wilmer has waited on my family everytime they come...he made sure the food, drinks and experience were extra special for us(mostly her bday) this time. Definitely a family oriented restaurant i would recommend for any and everyone to go to.

I found this great spot while on a trip to Chester. I asked to sit outside & was accommodated immediately nor did I feel neglected (as sometimes you may be when sitting outside). My food was piping hot. I had the vegetarian taco bowl with a side of black beans & the waiter asked if I wanted the beans in the bowl & that was perfect. I asked for house hot sauce & it was one of the BEST house made hot sauces I have had. Spicy but flavorful. Highly recommend, the staff were very friendly.

Wow very nice place. Family friendly, service was outstanding and food spectacular. Value was very good for the prices and large amounts of food. Served hot and fresh, the best Mexican food I have had in a good while. Put Don Papa Grande on the top of the best places to eat out. Even saw the staff cleaning the restrooms which also was just as clean as the rest of the restaurant. I am very impressed and will visit again and again. Chester gem for sure.

Was just just reminiscing with my spouse about our experiences with Don Papa. We currently are at a restaurant in Michigan thinking about how amazing Don Papas is lol And Gio!!! Miss you buddy.
