Holiday Inn Express Richmond E - Midlothian Trnpke, an IHG Hotel

Rating it 5 because of Marvin and mgt flexibility of letting me charge my EV from an outdoor outlet safely. But the ac and place has a moldy ish smell, and breakfast is subpar

Super comfy bed with soft linens. Keurig single coffee maker in the room was a stand out for me! Front desk service was efficient and clerk was friendly. Clean rooms. Nice lobby. Plenty of parking. Lots of restaurants and gas stations near by.

If you are ever in need of a safe place to stay while in the Midlothian area, the Holiday Inn Express is an excellent choice. The ladies at the front counter are the sweetest people you will ever meet, they really do go above annd beyond to help. And the rooms are big and clean! My mother and I stayed here for nearly a week to see my dad at the hospital and we felt safe and were so well taken care of. We can’t recommend this place enough. Thank you so much for all you have done for us!

The staff is very nice and extremely helpful. My rooms were very clean and beds quite comfy. I had an issue in my room last night and the staff promptly moved me to another room, apologized, and made sure that I was good to go. I’ve been to this location a couple times this month and both times I had a such a pleasant stay.

The hotel was really nice a great location for the event we went for within 7 minutes drive. The bed was so comfortable! The front desk staff was wonderful! Kind and very thoughtful. I will go back for future trips!

They had a suite with one side with two king size beds and a full bathroom and the connecting room was more of a living room with a pull out couch and a full bathroom. The price was very fair especially on Easter weekend. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast had eggs, two kinds of sausages, pancakes, oatmeal, bagels, cinnamon buns, cereal, yogurt, oranges,bananas, and I don't know what else, there were lots of choices.
This was a very nice place to stay, we needed to be at the Richmond airport and the location was just fine.

We needed a place to stay temporarily ( 7 nights) until our new house could be completed. We also have a puppy which made matters more complicated. The hotel was just wonderful. Great friendly staff willing to please. The beds were very comfortable. They have a nice out door patio that's really nice near the pool. They also had a nice hot breakfast that you don't see in other hotels. We really enjoyed our stay and will return when we need to stay the night in Midlothian. Great location close to shopping and dining. We highly recommend.

The staff was absolutely wonderful. A big shout out to Robin. We arrived on 8/17/22 and this women was so wonderful to my best friends grandson . She made him feel so special. She seriously made my heart happy. She went above and beyond! The rest of the staff were all very nice as well. We are from Oregon and if we ever get back here this will be our first choice! Thank you all.

This is the second time my family has stayed here and both times have been pleasant. I have my husband and two teenage boys so I have to book the suite so my boys have separate beds. My husband and I share a king, one son has a king and the other boy has a queen pull-out. Each room has its own bathroom and there is a door to shut in between the rooms (2nd floor). Last time we had the suite on the third floor and it only has one bathroom to share and no middle door. The front desk staff are friendly, breakfast has got an array of everything, lots of tables, clean facility. Easy access to hotel from interstate and amenities. We'll stay again.

So happy with this Holiday Inn. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Nothing bad to say, except the shower rod was at a downward tilt which allowed for the curtain to slide open on both sides which of course wet the floors. We just used the towels to soak it up. Highly recommended.

Astonishing. These people put in their best. Breakfast was amazing with hash, eggs, and my favorite biscuits and gravy. The rooms where clean and the bed comfy. People that leave any reviews lesser should try the super 8 down the street. It might be more of their style. Will be back again soon.

The rooms were clean and our bed sizes were Kings. That goes a long way when you are staying with 4 people! The breakfast was phenomenal as well. The listed starting time for breaks fast is 7 o’clock, yet the staff was ready to go at 6 am. Truly helpful when you have somewhere to be at 7 o’clock. The breakfast itself was delicious too. Two staff members in particular, Melody Washington and Shirley Barr, were friendly and welcoming. It was a great stay and we will be back.

This is a wonderful place to stay. Not too expensive but felt like I was at a higher end hotel. Amenities were full size and top notch. The Queen beds were by far larger than my queen bed at home and the pillows were the softest I've ever slept on. Hospitality was exceptional and very accommodating. If I'm ever in the area again I would love to stay again!

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room we had was clean and the cleaning people are apparently ninjas we left to grab some food gone off about an hour and the entire room was made up again. The hallways are clean and the overall atmosphere is family friendly. Even saw a guy with a dog made me wish I brought mine. Would stay again

Nice beds, nice rooms, very spacious. Not fancy but very nice. Very quiet, clean, comfortable, and spacious. Room has a coffee bar, fridge, microwave, pretty much all I need. Exemplary staff at front desk for our 11 pm on a Monday night check in. Complimentary breakfast in a very spacious dining area, good selection of hot and cold foods and beverages. Jerry was manning the area and is super nice and thoughtful making sure we had everything we wanted before he had to close it up. He is an example of the wonderful staff we met while here. Will definitely be staying again.

This place was great. Friendly, convenient location, breakfast was pretty good, everything was clean. Overall a great experience. Very close to a dunkin donuts, a cvs, and gas stations. Also I got to see the fattest baby ever here. The little chonk was waddling through the hall grunting after every step.

It was good and the lady in the front desk basically the lobby is so nice she is wonderful and I suggest staying at this hotel 😍

I grew up in the area, and have driven by the location many times wondering what it would be like to stay here.

Through a series of unforeseen circumstances, we had an excellent last minute stay, and the front desk attendant was very helpful and courteous when checking in and adding our emergency secondary reservation the next morning. The breakfast section is clean, and the very nice gentleman attending to it helped me pack a bag of cereals bowls (and he wrapped them for me!!) so I could bring food back to my partner. I regret not asking his name, but he was so kind, and had such a wonderful and refreshing smile first thing in the morning!

The location was a little confusing to get intobut once there it was great. The bed was comfortable, the rooms were quiet, the staff was great and the breakfast was hot. I would definitely suggest this hotel to my friends and family. The only complaint I have is the doors are very thin. In the hall you can hear conversations and even snoring. But once in the room you can't hear it but anyone passing by can hear you.
