I ordered a vegan cake for my birthday and the process was super easy. Pick up was smooth, and the cake was DELICIOUS. Honestly the best cake I’ve ever had, vegan or not AND it was beautiful. My non-vegan guests said the same thing, it was 10/10 on taste, texture, moisture and flavor. I ordered the 6 inch double layer with one layer coconut and one layer vanilla, cream cheese frosting and pecans on the sides. It wasn’t too expensive either, I will absolutely be purchasing from here again. Thank you so much WPA bakery for making my birthday special and being inclusive to vegans.

Ordered some vegan baked goods for a birthday. Not only did they get them done incredibly quick, but they looked and tasted absolutely incredible. Been coming here for a while, but this is my first time pre-ordering a cake and donuts. Would highly recommend!

We eat here occasionally, and it’s always really good. We also had them make us our vegan wedding cake (pear olive oil, sounds weird, but trust them) and it’s probably the best cake we’ve ever had. They made us vegan macaroons as well, and they were unreal. SO good. We got cookies and brownies for the wedding too, and they were incredible as well.

WPA Bakery did a really great job for our cake for a wedding reception we hosted. We chose a three flavor cake of vanilla, lemon, and chocolate. Everything was prepared for us as expected.

Eating here in person is also a real treat and privilege because they serve drinks and baked items to you on real high quality colorful plates.

Absolutely amazing! Was hunting around the city for a Vegan Pumpkin Pie. Finally, I found WPA, with an amazing staff who were friendly, made the ordering process easy, and an absolutely delicious birthday wish come true for a special vegan friend. Everything was absolutely amazing. I even kept a couple of extra slices for myself before sending the leftovers home with guests. Highly recommend!

WPA knocked our birthday cake out of the park. We had to accommodate dairy-free, egg-free, soy-free and gluten-free dietary restrictions and not only was the cake INCREDIBLE, but the service was so good. I emailed my inquiry and got a response quickly. I had a change the week of my order and it was accommodated with a smile. Our birthday girl, who had the dietary restrictions, could not believe that she could really eat the cake. We had one guest day he thought the WPA cake was better than the other one we had that was the same flavor but had gluten, dairy, egg and soy.

WPA will now be our go-to bakery. Thank you!

Amazing gluten free desserts and sandwiches. So happy to have found this local business after being diagnosed with celiac. They make their own gluten free English muffins that taste better than the gluten filled ones I ate prior to celiac diagnosis. Their lunches are delicious big sandwich on home made gluten free bread with chips and a pickle. They have a wide variety of gluten free pies, cakes, cookies, & cheese cakes. The gluten free muffin flavor changes daily. Their gluten free sour cream coffee cake is better than the gluten filled ones. Amazing local independent run business with very friendly knowledgeable staff!

Best Strawberry Rhubarb and Key lime pies! Order what you want with 48hrs notice but will sometimes be able to expedite for a small fee. They also do gluten free desserts!

Not just a bakeryGET THE CANELÉS!! this place is has so many gluten free and vegan options!! I have loved them for years even got my wedding cake here! They are so good at what they do and their staple item the caneles are so delicious!! The atmosphere is cozy to sit down if you wanna stay a while. With outdoor seating too. UPDATE: they also have savory sandwiches, coffee & soups!

WPA made me Mexican Chocolate Cupcakes for Cinco de Mayo! This was my first time using them. Calling to order was super easy, and the cupcakes were a hit - they looked great and tasted amazing. Very affordable, too - will definitely order from WPA again!

I’m not from this area but from where I live there is not many Gluten Free options. My boyfriend lives in Richmond and took me here on my birthday and bought me a slice of GF pie and it was beyond what I expected. Today I had the PB & J (GF) cheesecake and it was delicious. WPA Bakery is my favorite place in Richmond. I greatly appreciate places like this that have GF options so I can also enjoy a treat. Thank you again!

The wedding cake of my dreams! We heard all night long how great the cake was and from the one bite I took of the cake I agree LOL. WPA worked with me planning a wedding states away and they delivered the cake at the exact time that they promised. It turned out to be the best day of our lives (with the best cake).

I've had a few homeruns here. First off, the service is pleasant and helpful. My fave menu items as of now are the white chocolate cheesecake (best cheesecake my hubby has ever had-his words), & the mushroom pizza paquet (outstanding!!!!). The cosmic brownie is slightly above average, as is the coffee cake. The caneles are the best I've had and I'm not a canele person. Overall, there is something for everyone here. Just got to find what you like.

Always great! We frequent for our #MuffinMonday usually. They have a variety of cakes, canelles are a special treat there, full service espresso bat, outdoor seating, window bar seating... Stop by and support this amazing local bakery!

The Hot coffee is mid (not bad) but it's also quick and cheap so it's my go to. It's generally better fresh (am). Everything else is amazing.

This place is fantastic. Such a cozy atmosphere, delicious baked goods, breakfast sandwich, pies and cheesecakes.

I got the last slice of amaretto cake and I will say it was DELICIOUS 😋!!! It was so light and the icing wasn't too sweet. I would definitely recommend if you ever get the urge to get something sweet. 🧁🧁🎂 #wpaisthebomb

Easiest part of our wedding planning & so little notice! We planned an entire wedding in 4 weeks. All communication w WPA was over email. We wanted cupcakes to make things easy, have different flavors & to keep safer bc of Covid. Well let me tell you- best tasting cake, cupcakes EVER! I think everyone had at least one…our kids had 2 or more they were just so darn good. Can’t thank WPA enough! Y’all are the BEST!!! Thank you for everything!!!

Such a great find on our trip to downtown Richmond for a volleyball tournament. I am always on the hunt for a place that offers gluten-free baked goods and WPA did not disappoint! I had the blueberry muffin and it was delicious. I am saving a slice of cheescake for later but it also looks delightful. I was tempted to buy several other items simply because they were gluten-free, but I didn't. It gives me an excuse to revisit.

WPA always comes through. Their website says if you do not see a flavor, ask. I always ask and they say YES! The have made all of my desserts gluten free as requested. They have made desserts for Christmas and Thanksgiving, my daughter's wedding cake and dessert bar and cupcakes for her baby shower! All of the gf food is really good. They are a dream to deal with. If you can't eat gluten, this is your place. WPA, thanks for making my events delicious and safe from gluten!
