Patient First Primary and Urgent Care - Chester

I had a great experience at Patient First - Chester. There was no wait time! Staff were professional and helpful and the doctor had a wonderful bedside manner. I was prescribed the necessary antibiotics and, though I had not yet taken my first dose, I left the building feeling so much better than I had on arrival.

Every person in this facility is professional, kind, prompt and compassionate. I was impressed with how quick my visit was in spite of being super busy! I love that I can get my meds at the same place as well! I was able to put my daughter down for a nap and made it back home before she woke up! Wonderful job!

Dr. Powell is always amazing. He is kind, empathetic, and listens. The gentleman who took my blood was incredible. I didn’t even feel the needle and he made me feel comfortable. The check in nurse was really nice too. Overall great experience- minus the wait time. We always recommend Dr. Powell at patient first in Chester to everyone.

My experience at Patient First was great. After I signed in, I was call back in less than two minutes. The staff and doctor were fantastic. They both were concerned about my health and took great care. Everyone there were professional. I felt totally comfortable talking with them. I highly recommend Patient First to anyone who needs great health care.

The nurses and the doctors that assisted me were amazing. I hate needles and the nurse had me laughing while he drew my blood!! Didn’t even notice anything until he was done.💪There was a little wait but they were very apologetic and super nice!!

Was impressed they asked to test me for Covid, the flu and strep right as I was seen. Not too long of a wait and they come back to tell me I have strep. Easy in easy out

I came in today feeling very bad and in a lot of pain and could barely stand or walk. Dr Tong was a wonderful doctor and got me stabilized enough to walk out of there and the nurses were wonderful and attentive. The whole team from check in and registration to the triage and the nurses, phlebotomist, and xray tech were all wonderful. I always come to patient first in Chester and today showed me why. Thanks to the team of medical professionals I saw today. They helped me out a great deal.

Positive experience on my recent visit. The staff was very professional and the facility was clean. There were quite a few patients waiting at the time of my arrival but the staff checked in and saw everyone in a very timely manner. My family and myself have always had good experiences at the Patient First on Ironbridge Rd in Chester, VA.

Overall this was the best Patient First I've been to & now it's going to be my first choice. Professional, speedy & great service. The other Patient First should model themselves after them. First class service from start to finish.

I felt valued as a patient. I felt the medical staff listened to my concerns. The facility is clean, spacious. Ability to wait in your vehicle until your “ turn” to be seen is a plus. Wait time was minimal considering the number of patients. Love the option of having scripts filled onsite.

Busy office, but it's the best Urgent care I have been to. They move fast and the staff is 5 stars. So kind and will make sure you get answers before you leave. Never have I been treated this good at any medical facility. Thank you:)

It was Great....My PCP is Arthur Lindsay. He is always very thorough and has a wonderful bedside manner. Also the lady who checked me was very kind and patient especially due to the fact I was really sick and couldn't think straight. The young nurse who took my vitals, swabbed my nose, was so gentle and sweet she did no hurt me at all. The wait overall was a little longer due to amount of patients that were waiting. However, they worked diligently and still gave exceptional care to every patient....So much better than an Emergency Room! In closing as I said earlier, my family and I live in Prince George, we pass Colonial Heights to drive to Chester for our care. That speaks volumes about Arthur Lindsay and how phenomenal he is, as well as the rest of the staff.

My experience with the patient verse on Chester It was very good although I had to wait about 4 hours to leave to get Discharged That was okay due to all the employees the doctors and the nurses always coming in and checking on me making sure I was OK And the doctor was very informative let me know exactly what was going on and explained everything to me Very well and I feel like the doc. Went above and beyond to make sure I understood what she was doing and the process I was going threw. Overall I loved my experience with them and will b returning for any of my medical needs

I have pretty high anxiety when it comes to seeing doctors and everyone here was so welcoming. I’m sensitive about my weight and the lady taking my vitals was so thoughtful towards me. The doctor I saw made me feel so calm and comfortable. Thank you!

Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. Been going to Dr. A Lyndsey for years and he is one of the best. Every Dr I have seen has been good. Thank you all for doing an awesome job 💯

I loved it! My experience was absolutely great! The wait time was not long at all probably 5 min at the most! Which is super awesome! Also the nurse or physician who assisted me was very nice and professional!

I was very pleased with everyone at patient first! I went in for blood work after having gone to a different urgent care that had completely freaked me out and told me to go to the ER. The staff At Patient first, actually listened to what I was saying and you could tell they genuinely cared about you. They constantly reassured me that I was okay and that nothing in blood work or anything else was alarming for an ER visit. The wait to be seen was nothing compared to the previous urgent care I went to the same day. They also filled my prescription no problem and even talked me through options on what to to take. If it wasn’t for patient first I would have been sending thousands of dollars at the ER for them to tell me I have extreme anxiety..

It had been maybe 13 years since my last patient first visit. I went in today. It was busy but they were incredibly efficient. All of the staff were kind and it moved along nicely. About an hour from check in to leaving which was amazing for a Sunday. I got to fill meds there which was even more of a reason to go as most pharmacies were not even open. I hope to not be back but will return there due to being able to get meds and the efficency. Thank you very much.

The physician, Dr Powell, and staff were pleasant and easy to deal with. They seemed very concerned with my issues and address them promptly. The check-in was simple and headache free. The wait time was not bad at all considering the amount of people that were there. The facility itself is run very well. It could use a little focus on the cleaning of certain things but overall my experience was excellent. I have no issues of returning there again if needed.

An excellent experience that was quick and pleasant. It was a pleasure to be treated like a loved one rather than just another patient at an urgent care center.
