New Yamazato Japanese restraunt

Staff is very friendly. A great little quick Japanese take out spot. Also the filet doesn't make sense how it can be better than all the steak restaurants in town

Just got the ribeye steak hibachi and it was FANTASTIC. Seriously amazing yum yum sauce. Highly recommend this place.

The food was fantastic...only took 3 minutes to get to our table after ordering. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was ok...but I'd love to see them get rid of the yucky old carpet and decorate the place in a more Japanese style. Otherwise, a really great experience...I will stop again when I'm in the area.

Baillie was an amazing waitress and the food was amazing. Large quantities and delicious yum yum sauce. Can't wait to go back and hope we have Baillie again!

Went here the first time today and wow! It was really good. I also loved how clean the place was. The steak was so tender and you can tell they use the finest vegetables. I’ve passed this place a thousand times can’t believe I been missing out.

For a small place the food is great. I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. The veggies and all meats are great. Each dinner comes with a yum yum sauce which makes it even better. Food service is fast you can dine in or take out. By far the best Japanese in Madison heights.

The food is pretty good, my favorite dish is the hibachi mixed vegetables and crab rangoon. We eat here about 1-2 times per month and the quality is consistent. The staff if very friendly and inside environment appears to be neat and clean.

No complaints. They have a very relaxing atmosphere and are decently priced. I went in to ask if they used ginger since I am allergic and they were nice enough to let me know that something I ordered did in fact have ginger so they changed it to a non ginger option. They also gave me ranch dressing since their house dressing does contain ginger as well. No msg is user in their food which I think is amazing. They went out of their way to make sure I had a pleasant experience and their food taste great! Great serving sizes and friendly staff. We've found a new place to get dinner !

New Yamazoto has become our go to place to eat in Madison Heights when we don't want to cook. Everything we've ever ordered is cooked perfectly. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food always prepared quickly and ready to go when they say it will be.

The food was excellent! Nothing fancy atmosphere wise but the food is what you go out for and it was great. I was pleasantly surprised.

I had hibachi steak chicken and shrimp was really good. very well cooked not over done like most hibachi. Didnt use vegtable oil very happy about that i hate the after taste of vegtable oil. The vegtables had a fresh clean taste to them not frozen. Rice was fresh and didnt have egg in it clean fresh dish worth the price of 16$ for my meal portions large good value. Very kind friendly service. Clean kitchen food cooked right infront of you. Will definately be going back..

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PLACE. We get the combo shrimp hibachi and crab rangoons. I am partial to the steak wonton. Absolutely adore this hidden gem in Madison Heights.

I've been to this place many times and it's my go to for hibachi style food they've never let me down.

Very delicious! Hibachi teryaki chicken was excellent. Large portions, reasonably priced. Nice clean atmoy.
