Two Compadres Taqueria Bar & Grill

We picked this place to meet some old friends. We were overly impressed with the looks of this place. My wife was very excited about their real wood buring fireplace. We sat at a high top near the fireplace so she could see it. Good open seating all around, very nice bar area. Staff was super friendly, even with my wife's changing opinion on where she wanted to sit. The food was really good. All of us enjoyed it tremendously. Few Tvs around to catch a game. Very enjoyable experience, nice sharp looking place.

Great spot for large groups, we were there with a reservation for 14. Server was attentive and food was delicious. We will be back! A lot of vegetarian options and 1 menu item that is vegan friendly!

Absolutely an incredible hidden gem that people should not sleep on this Beautiful Restaurant. Come over and find it. $30 for two people to eat is unheard of 💯

A family favorite. My grandkids absolutely love this place. We had an excellent meal on Monday night. The staff was so attentive and nice! They are so accommodating to the little ones. Great food, fast service. We'll be going back soon. Great menu.

I was trying to decide rather to drive across town to my favorite Mexican restaurant off from Hull St, or try out this new place only one block from me. I have to say, I was extremely happy we decided to try this restaurant out! Everything from the service, to the atmosphere, to the food, was beyond what I expected! Our server, Jaime was very attentive and friendly! He went above and beyond making sure everything was as we expected, and we were 100% satisfied. I am so glad there is another delicious Mexican restaurant in my area, but even better… It is only one block from me! Even my 13-year-old asked to speak to the manager to tell him how wonderful the food and place was! We will definitely be back!

We have ordered take-out here like ten times because they have the best salsa around. We only ever ordered the chips and salsa. Well, we went in for dinner this past weekend and everything was absolutely perfect. The food is flavorful and delicious. My wife's drink (berry mule) was absolutely wonderful. As always, the salsa was the best-tasting you can find in this area. Service was on-point and atmosphere was great. We will be returning for sure.

This place is fantastic. Great food and people. You know a restaurant is doing well, when you ask friends to dine with you and you say let's go to Two Compadres Taqueria Bar & Grill and they say great, we love that place.

My husband, daughter and I had a wonderful experience for dinner tonight. Staff was so friendly. Food was fresh and delicious … a step above typical Mexican food. The Dan’s margarita is excellent - they don’t go light on the tequila! They have a big patio with a TV and some long tables as well as smaller tables with umbrellas. We will definitely be back!

Wow, why has it taken me so long to try this place!? Absolutely fantastic!

Service: 1st rate. We had a toddler with us that decided she couldn't sit still and the staff immediately jumped in and helped mom and dad by talking to the baby and making her laugh. Our server was polite, knowledgeable, and happy to help us.

Food: Best guacamole I've had in Richmond, bar none. The Refried Beans are also top notch. My Burrito was equal part chicken, steak, and shrimp. So good!

My new goto for Mexican!! Please give them a shot!!

Great visit! I had the lunch Don Carnitas burrito - it was delicious and filling. They do breakfast dishes until 3pm as well as a lunch menu. Ask for the dinner menu if you want to order tacos before 3pm.

Reel good Mexican food, very fresh. Excellent service with so many choices this is the a great one.

Great food and friendly service. Awesome selection of drinks. Sit indoors or outside choice is yours. Salsa was great plenty of chorizo options. Prices are in line with the quality and portion size of the food.

Good food, nice place, price is good, the only thing is, the server takes too long to check if you need something else.

Great patio - great food - great margarita's. It was 50+ today, so took advantage for an early dinner. Friendly wait staff - moderately priced entrees but not unreasonable. Will return as temps permit!

Went today ~70 and sat outside & enjoyed their great food - nothing has really changed.

This place has the most authentic salsas I have tried in Richmond. True tobspice level as you would get if visiting Mexico. Tortillas for tacos are hand made I'm the restaurant.

We decided to go and try a new restaurant. We were seated right away, and everyone was very friendly. Great prices for a great amount of food and the drinks were absolutely delicious. We definitely recommend and will go again.

The food is great here. I came with a group and we each had a different entree. All of us loved our food. The waitress was very attentive, not rattled at all by the group. There are multiple locations where a group can sit together as well as smaller tables and booths. Lots of free parking right outside the entrance.

Best damn Mexican Food in town. Consistent all the time, service is great. West coast light and clean latino food. I’m a Latino myself, 16 years on west coast, few years with Tex Mexico, this by far is the closest to perfection!
