My experience was great. A salesman greeted.me immediately and took me to look for a vehicle on their website. We found several vehicles that interested me, and he went out to the lot and brought them to the front for me to examine. I have trouble walking, so I truly appreciated this. After I chose a vehicle, the buying process was moved quickly. I don't think I was at the dealership more than a couple of hours. That is the fastest I have ever purchased a car. This is my second time purchasing a vehicle from Car Max. In my book, they get an A+ rating. I have a beautiful burgundy 2019 Jeep Cherokee in great condition. I love it!!!

Wow! 10/10 this experience was amazing, I have never been so at ease selling a car. Everyone was patient, VERY well educated and ensured me I would be well taken care of. I'd love to be as helpful as I can with reviews and find negatives, but I can't! Our salesperson, Cat, was splendid to work with. Our phones were slow, pulling things up, and had some hiccups in terms of having correct information in the system, but they were completely understanding and helpful! Out of all the salespeople I've worked with, I wish all of them could take notes from Cat. Professional, respectful, resourceful; I could go on and on! Cat, keep slaying!

I got the car I wanted. I wish it would have been detailed. The windows were smudged and the rims had a lot of road grime on the inside of the rims. Other than that, everything went exceptionally well. Great sales and finance staff.

I located the car at the West Broad location and arranged transfer to Midlothian. The transfer went smoothly and Mike Wash contacted me when it was ready at the Midlothian store. My wife and I test drove it and inspected it that day. The car is 10 years old but its condition was virtually impeccable! We bought it on the spot. Even better, we spent less than 15 minutes in the business office and then drove it away! Try that in any new/used car dealership. It’ll take you HOURS to get out of there! CarMax IS the place to buy a used car…HANDS DOWN!

Had some work done at Carmax Service Center in Midlothian, VA for my rear axle brakes. Needless to say my service writer Jim, and his tech Dave did a fantastic job handling my situation. After a little mishap with dysfunctional parts (not their fault at all, stuff happens!) they were thorough in making sure my vehicle was in the best shape it could in be before walking out the door. I don’t see many reviews on here about their service so I wanted to commend them for their constant professional nature and integrity. Thanks again guys!

I was selling my car and went to CarMax for a quote. Everything from start to finish went extremely well and the quote I received was at fair market value that I agreed with. The entire staff that I worked with were knowledgable, professional and polite. I could not be more satisfied than I am with the whole process.

Yes I would recommend CarMax. I called them the Walmart of cars. My experience was so good compared to other car dealerships. They have taken care of all requests I had and even held the car while away! They are awesome and would brag about the good experience.

Having sold cars in the past I always hate going places to buy cars. The drop off online services didn't have what I was looking for so I took a chance on CarMax and I'm glad I did. We had to rush to a dentist appoint and we were in and out start to finish in 2 hours. I will always look at CarMax when I have any vehicle needs.

Only had the truck one day brought the truck on the 19th it has been in your shop since 22rd cause it has some serious problems only reason I haven’t given it back is because service department has been so helpful in getting the problems squared away I must say your service manager is on top of things. Hopefully I will be back in my truck by Monday I hope because my wife has been beating me up beside my head to get dirt for her garden.

Selling my car to Carmax was the easiest process I’ve ever done. I got my Instant Cash offer online (double what Carvana offfered). I uploaded my documents to the secure document center and, once those were reviewed, I was able to schedule an appraisal pick-up appointment online and at my house. Collin (the employee who came to pick up my car) was so great! The day of the scheduled appointment, he called me to let me know that he was on his way and arrived on time. Collin was thorough in going over my paperwork and everything was signed in seconds. It couldn’t have been easier. Collin also let me check out the inside of his office/van. Carmax has a first class operation and first class employees! I will recommend Carmax to everyone!
