Elrod & Dunham Dentistry

I have been going to Elrod and Dunham for about 10 years now and I just love their practice. Everyone is so friendly and the office and equipment is top-notch!

The hygienist doing an amazing job of cleaning my teeth without any discomfort. Shout out to Angie, Marissa and Kim for being great at what they do as hygienist!

Dr. Dunham has been my primary dentist. I trust that he will give me excellent care and guidance. He has guided me through taking care of a failed crown (from a prior dental experience) and getting an implant. As you can imagine that’s a stressful process to go through and he was awesome. And he is great with my kids.

It’s wonderful to be able to go to One dentist office for the whole family.

My husband and I had a wonderful first experience with this business! Jonathan was fantastic, the dentist was also very warm and kind. The whole staff made us feel welcome. We’re very happy to have found them!

Everyone is professional and friendly!! Today was actually my first visit and from the moment I walked in the door I was greeted with a smile and kindness. My Hygienist Angie was AWESOME!! She did an excellent job!! Everyone that I had the pleasure to talk to and interact with was great!! Definitely would recommend this practice to my friends and family!

From check-in to chair to check-out, great experience! Dr. Jonathan was very professional, had a wonderful chairside manner. He listened to my concerns and addressed every question I had with confidence and a smile. The office staff were great, too! As I had a little difficulties filling out my paperwork, the ladies were patient with me and helped me navigate the cool technology! I was also informed of any possible charges that my insurance wouldn’t cover. I’m actually excited to go back of my 6-month checkup!!

After moving to the Richmond area a year ago, I had been procrastinating to book an appointment so my wife decided to make the appointment for me 🙌 When I got there, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful and the hygienist that saw me was good, informative and thorough. I am not much of a fan of a going to the dentist but she made me feel very relaxed. The same for the dentist that saw me. He was also very nice and good. Glad to have found this dentistry and look forward to going there on a regular basis.

Awsome practice, everyone was polite and helpful. Jonathan was very cognizant of my tooth pain and made sure that I was feeling no discomfort. Will definitely be going back.

Love this dental office. All of the dentists and staff are fabulous! I especially love my special Dental Assistant that goes above and beyond to make me feel comfortable - Yay for Haley!

After 35 years with my last Hygienist I never thought I would find another one who could keep it painless. Well I was wrong.Angie Self is my new go to.
She does a remarkable job on my smile and the pain level is non existing. Such a nice person to talk with as well. I may not have 35 years left but the time I do she is my Angie will be my Hygienist for life. Thank Angie you are awesome

I take my whole family here. Angie does great with kids too! Some kids can be apprehensive about going to the dentist and they make it fun and enjoyable for the kids. Elrod and Dunham Denistry is the absolute BEST! They show care and compassion to their patients.. My favorite dental hygienist “Joan” is AMAZING and is the sweetest person ever. I’ve been a patient for over 30 years and would not trade them for anyone else.

I’ll start by saying I absolutely hate the dentist. But I enjoyed my experience here. Jonathan put a lot of effort into making sure I was as comfortable as possible (I was totally anxious), and he listened if I had a concern. As far as dentist visits go, this was one of the best!

Everyone was very nice and inviting! I have a huge fear of the dentist and they all made me feel like I was right at home!! A great mix of professionalism, attitude, attention to detail with a huge splash of human kindness!!! This will be my regular dentist office from now on. Office staff are professional, kind and caring. The doctors are all very good and caring. I drive 50 minutes to go to them and would never go to anyone else! They take the time needed to have good outcomes with your teeth.

Dr. Dunham and his assistants are AMAZING. I went in for a painful tooth I put off for too long and he got my root canal done during my visit! I was so anxious and nervous but they made me feel so comfortable and explained every step to me before and during the procedure. They did everything in their power to ensure I was comfortable and without pain. I will definitely continue to use this practice!! 10/10 would recommend!

My granddaughter fell and broke two of her front teeth off. Dr. Elrod and Dunham fit my granddaughter in asap. She was in a lot of pain and they made sure she was comfortable the whole time while taking excellent care of her. The end result was two crowns and they look perfect. My granddaughter and I were so pleased. I never thought about going anywhere else for her care.

Johnathan was excellent...reviewed my chart to know what was to be done today, asked appropriate questions, explained what he was doing, was gentle in his tasks, and refreshed my memory of and the benefits of "invisiline". I mode me next appointment with him. Dr Elrod was friendly and thorough in his check of my teeth as well. I highly recommend their practice.
