Pilot Travel Center

Very nice Pilot Travel Center. Pretty organized parking space for trucks. There is a big place in the middle, like a round square, and truckers can easily adjust their semis to park, a lot of lines for fueling, and also well organized. There's Wendy inside, good store, good showers, restroom could be little bit more cleaner, but it was a rush hour, so it's ok. Friendly personnel. Overall, it was very good 👍 👌 👍👌.

I stopped here one Saturday night to take a mandatory 10 hour break and had the pleasure of interacting with a young man who works here by the name of Khai…he was extremely polite and helpful and very professional in conducting his work duties during the time I was there. His attitude and demeanor are indicative of his upbringing as it shows that he was raised in a good family atmosphere.Hopefully the world will produce more young men like him.The store itself is very clean and well organized. It’s got a Wendy’s burger 🍔 joint along with Pilot’s instore meal menu, and the staff at Wendy’s are equally polite and friendly. Pilot #384 gets 10 thumbs up 👍🏾 from me.

This was my first time getting a shower here. It was worth every dollar. Hot, lots of force from the shower head, clean and secure. I felt very safe. It was glorious! Thank you

This is a pretty nice Pilot. Plenty of parking. Easy access to fuel pumps. Well stocked store. Nice employees who are kind and friendly.

The place is clean and well maintained.

It's always nice to stop by a Pilot travel center, always very clean, courteous, and helpful and they offer plenty of options from dining to merchandise, and as a former pfj employee it's a nice nostalgia boost for me 👍

I only use pilots for parking and the occasional free shower (but I do not purchase fuel from PFJ, ever) That said, the parking lot at this Colonial Heights location is spacious and easy to get into without incident, even for a Swift driver! Shower #3 was also decent. PFJs do this stupid thing with the shower head placing it in a way that doesn't allow the water to go all the way down to the lower half of your body. They haven't fixed the issue probably because nobody complains about it, probably because washing isn't a big deal for most truckers.

The lady working the cash register at Wendy’s was spectacular. I think her name was Karen but honestly I couldn’t read the name tag well. My husband offered Frostys for our kids for a treat for the long car ride. Unfortunately there wasn’t any vanilla. My kids really don’t like Chocolate (crazy kids) but they wanted the other option Peppermint. Last time the strawberry one was a disaster. It was gross they hated it and we hated it but I didn’t tell her about that. I was trying to tell my kids that they may not like it and chocolate was a safer choice for not wasting food. She offered for the kids to try it. The kids ended up loving it and got their ice cream treat. My husband decided him and I needed frostys too. She told us that mixing both the chocolate and and peppermint together was like Andy’s Mints. And she was so right. Her kindness and understanding was far beyond necessary. She deserves a huge thank you for adding more joy to our trip.

Excellent Service. What a team at this location. Larry the General Manager, Destiny the manager, go out of their way to make sure us truckers and customers are 100% SATISFIED. THANK YOU PILOT!!!!!

Nice pilot plenty of truck parking a lot of reserved though staff lack in the customer service side but restrooms are clean

The restrooms at this Pilot were INCREDIBLY clean especially considering the amount of traffic it receives, on more than one occasion as I stop her e when I commute twice a week. The staff is always friendly even using a coupon another patron had left when I made my purchase. Keep up the great work.

We stop at this pilot every year on our way to SC. Restrooms are always clean. Wendy's is okay, needs some new seats and a good scrubbing. Gas price is usually the lowest for any easy off - easy on gas stations for miles in both directions.

This is a large fueling station and utility convenience store. It is not a hold your hand highbrow store. It is successful at what it means to be, reasonable fuel prices, a large convenience store product selection, clean enough bathrooms. There is a Wendy's hamburger restaurant connected to the facility. A decent place just off the highway to stop and rest your legs, top off the fuel tank, get some snacks for the road, get some fast food, and take care of nature's call.

The Wendy's is the absolute most amazing group of employees I've ever encountered. It doesn't matter what shift is on, day or night. They are all the same. Most kind, warm ,inviting and professional group of people. Everytime I visit I leave smiling all the way home. I'm new to the area and they have made my decision of my move a positive experience for me and my family. Thank all of you for showing my family kindness still exists in this not so friendly world.

The pilot staff super friendly. I give it five stars. This review is is to mainly recognize Mrs. Dianne who works at the adjoining Wendy's location. The manager seemed over stress and was telling people at the drive thru that it was closed. Very opinionated (out loud) about people asking for condiments. Clearly not good under pressure. With that being said, I had ordered 3 brkfst burritos and paid for them , the lady whom I said was over stressed hollered I'm sorry we only have 2. Which was fine had that been the case. It was not. Mrs. Dianne , after me telling her it was OK I didn't mind losing that 1.05 or whatever it was , simply and politely said " No sir, you paid for it and we will fill your order" . She went to the back and made the 3rd of my 3 burritos , which by the way took her less than a few minutes. So for that I thank you Mrs. Dianne. Very sweet lady and got Wendy's this 5 star rating. I sat and observed afterwards and it was clear that she should have had the management roll. She was working herself as fast as she possibly could and was very efficient in doing so. I hope she is commended for her hard work. She is certainly deserving. Again, THANK YOU Mrs. DIANNE for going above and betond.

Self check outs at a travel center are next level. Clean place with friendly staff, including the Wendy's attached.

Pilot has many perks to go there. Great gas prices. Discounts on cigarettes.The deli has awesome food. 5 stars.

Prices are a bit expensive for some items, but it's a truck stop so that's to be expected. Very clean place. The women that work there are very nice people that do a great job making you feel welcome.
