Amanjot Khara DDS

I got 4 extractions done there today and had some anxiety going on before and Dr. Khara and her assistant made me so comfortable and were so kind and patient. The receptionists are also extremely kind and patient and go above and beyond for you! I will definitely be keeping Dr. Khara as my dentist

I've been coming for about 2 years. It is saddening to read the negative reviews, as I'm aware that they, as everyone else, are not perfect and subject to human error. But today (10/19/22) Dr Khara and staff spent 3 hours working on me, listening to concerns, and making corrections as needed. Dr Khara then surprised me by proceeding to fix a damaged front tooth from an injury I had sustained last year. I can say for myself, that today they exceeded my expectations.

Love Dr Khara and her entire staff. From the receptionist that greeted me when I walked in, to the assistants and hygienist they are all sweet, caring, real, and up front. No unnecessary sales pitches that you run into with DDS offices nowadays. She worked me in for a dental emergency as a first time patient and called multiple times to check up on me, even over the weekend. I would recommend her over and over to all my friends and family!!!!

I have been visiting Dr. Khara for some time now and shes the best. She is very kind and when you walk into her office and talk with her, you can tell how much she cares about as the patient. If you are looking a great dentist, I would definitely recommend going to Dr. Khara.

Dr. Khara is one of the most caring, efficient and thorough dentists I have ever been to. I have been a patient of hers for many years now and have received nothing but excellent care from Dr. Khara and her entire staff.

I'm 42 and Dr. Khara is the only Dentist who has ever listened to my concerns and she is sympathetic to her patients when they feel pain. No other Dentist I've had showed any type of sympathy.

The dentist does NOT have a gentle hand!!! She didn’t wait for numbing cream before sticking me with needles for novacaine. Didn’t even try to numb me up before shots for a tooth extraction! Ouch!!

This office is a joke. I had a tooth pulled and she chipped another in the process, she stated i would need a root canal, so i got a second opinion and NO I DIDNT. She has both ed my teeth so bad that I have had to go to a new dentist and have multiple appointments just to fix all of it. My sister has also been seen by her recently for an emergency situation and all she did was say that it could be fixed let’s schedule something soon, when she is in so much pain and cant talk or eat/drink. And all Dr Khara said was I’ll get you some Tylenol and amoxicillin when she was told that NEITHER medication works. She is extremely rough and does not care about her patients at all just the money that goes in her pocket. I do NOT recommend her for dental work!

What can I say I have anxiety going to the dentist. I seen the reviews on how well everyone loved Amanjot Khara. I had a toothache. They worked me in. I was greeted nicely and the hygienist was really polite and I told her I was nervous. She was real nice and friendly. She was gentle with me on taking x-rays. When the Dr came in She was worried about the rest of mouth verses what the problem was. She was kind of rude and made me feel real uncomfortable. All she did was put me on Amoxcillin and ibuprofen and said she can't get me in to do a root canal until September. I feel like she was just trying to get me out of the office. Needless to say my pain got worse and I had to go to another denist that treated me like a human being. I do not recommend this Dr.

Had a root canal done by her awhile ago and my lip got burned 7 different times (I was not moving my mouth in the slightest) I was told the root canal would be a few hundred but they didn’t end up charging me. I’m assuming that’s only because I got burned so many times. It definitely felt like a rushed job. They didn’t even finish so I had to go somewhere else since the next availability they had would be 4 months away.

I was told that I needed a deep cleaning which I thought was odd so I canceled and went somewhere else and got a regular cleaning no problem. I took my son in later that year in October and she started performing a root canal and was unable to finish it and said they could not get him in until March to finish the work. I switched him to a new dentist and when they inquired on my benefits found out that she billed my primary and secondary insurance for a completed root canal complete fraud!

Please do not go here. She falsely stated I needed a deep cleaning and that I would need anesthesia just so she can make money. She has had several board actions against her in the past for this very reason. She is always running significantly behind and does not take the time to answer her patient’s questions. Don’t waste your time or money here. I had to end up going to a different dentist.
