Jackpot!! This hotel is directly across the street from Johnston-Willis Hospital, in a safe area, off of a major thoroughfare. It is beautiful (inside and out)! • Large lobby, with lots of tables and seating. • Nice kitchenette in room, with full size refrigerator, plus large microwave, deep sinks, coffee makers and electric stove, pots & pans, plates, cups and forks. Our room had a nice living room area, with pull-out sofa, a large swivel tv that you can watch from the sofa or the bed and lots of drawer space. Beautiful large shower. Great place to stay, while in town for a family member’s emergency surgery at the local hospital. Thank you, Dominique (front desk) for your kindness, as we dealt with an emergency!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Residence Inn Richmond West/Midlothian, located at 1350 Johnston Willis Drive, Richmond, Virginia, and I was profoundly impressed by the outstanding service provided by an employee named Dominique at the front desk.

From the moment I walked into the hotel, Dominique’s warm and welcoming demeanor set the tone for a remarkable stay. However, it was their extraordinary act of kindness and leadership that truly stood out. Dominique went well beyond the call of duty by assisting a guest who had mobility challenges. They displayed an incredible level of empathy and support by physically helping the guest, doing so with utmost respect and without any hint of judgment.

I have been staying at this Residence Inn consistently since Aug of 2022. I keep coming back because I haven't been disappointed yet. The rooms are always clean and well stocked with all the at home essentials. My biggest complaint is the cabinet under the kitchen sink, it is always falling off the hinges (I've stayed in multiple rooms and it's an issue). Staff is always extremely polite, I love the evening check in crew. I do want to extend a huge shout out to the gentleman that works breakfast in the mornings. He always goes out of his way to great me with a smile. His breakfast is fresh, a nice selection and always plenty of it. This nice man even went out of his way to grab me a cup of coffee to go before they opened at 630am because he saw I was in a rush. Kudos Marriott! From someone that travels extensively for work, you will continue to get my business at this location.

My mother and I stayed at this hotel because she needed to have a medical procedure at the hospital that is located within walking distance from the hotel. Dominique was on duty when we checked in and was very helpful and attentive to our needs. We had a stressful ordeal getting to the hotel because it was a last minute decision to stay there rather than driving to the hospital early the next morning. I had just arrived into town from Texas, and after my 3 hour flight I was exhausted. However Dominique checked us in quickly and made sure that my points were added to my account while also dealt with a really demanding customer politely on the phone while checking me in. The hotel is new, clean and comfortable - highly recommend the accommodations and the staff is great!

I don't usually write reviews but the service and extra care given to guests was so above and beyond that I need to. Andrew, the evening/night time manager was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. You just don't see diligence like this at other hotels or Marriotts. This is a great place to stay (oh, and the rooms are nice too).

Firstly, I want to say Cheryl at the front desk is an absolute angel. She was extremely helpful and made our stay that much better at this Beautiful hotel! It even has a basketball court!? My family and I stayed in the one bedroom suite and the kids loved it and perfect for parents. The hotel smells new and is extremely clean and the staff is amazing. Beautiful lounging area with a fire pit, grill, pool that is still OPEN. Definitely would recommend to anyone.

Stayed for 3 nights and absolutely loved the king suite. Plenty of room, great amenities, staff is all super friendly, especially the grounds keepers and cleaning ladies. Absolutely would recommend this hotel over all others in the area.

Building is new and clean (in appearance and smell). Absolutely great experience here.

Great place to stay. Our room was like a miniature furnished apartment with stove, large fridge, dishwasher, iron, dishes, pots and pans etc. You name it. It even had a safe! We loved our stay there. After experiencing this, the Best Western we stayed in later fell WAY SHORT.

Check in and check out were super easy. The staff were friendly. The room was spotless and clean. Enjoyed streaming my shows on the tv. The pool was amazing and had fresh towels. Breakfast was nice and packed in bags. Perfect to prevent the spread of covid. Conveniently located near restaurants, shops and gas station. Overall nice stay. Highly recommend.

I really like it here bed super comfy - free breakfast- had a lot of pre made options but pretty standard for complimentary breakfast now a days. Hotel very clean and nice!

My experience with Residence Inn has always been good, and my stay at this place was equally good. The rooms are very clean and nicely designed. Breakfast could be better but overall a nice place to stay.

The fridge by the lobby register has hot pockets. My family had to stay here after an apartment fire. We had no food as insurance paid for us to stay in a hotel. The convenience store in the lobby has good food so that was very nice in a bad emergency.

This hotel and staff were by far the best EVER!!

Cannot say more great things about this hotel and its staff. Checked in on New Years Eve, and they greeted us with a smile. Amazing service by the staff and we'll maintained hotel.

Brand new really nice residence inn. Easy check in from my phone with room key no need to go to the front desk. Hallways were clean. Rooms have everything you need for an extended stay. TVs have nice features and smart functionality for streaming. Internet was plenty fast for streaming and doing work. Currently breakfast options are limited due to covid. Good accessibility to nearby restaurants, hospital, and interstate. Safe area. Free parking. Highly recommend.

Very clean and the staff is very friendly. There was an issue with our original room, we notified the staff and they immediately moved us to a new room. We were satisfied with how quick they fixed the issue. However the front staff went a step above and really took care of us. Great customer service! Whenever we are in the RVA area, this is where we will stay.

Very clean and modern. Front desk staff friendly and ready to meet our needs. Room had a clean smell. It was obvious they care about incoming guests.
