My daughter and I visited this church on December and it was an Amazing worship experience. So much so that we are going back today 12/17. I have been looking for a church with a strong youth ministry and I am impressed so far, I spoke with several young ladies who had nothing but great things to say.

Went last weekend. Very welcoming place and a nice cup of coffee. If you are looking for a place to call home, please look at the hope point.

Best church in the Richmond area! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming from the time you step into the door until the second you get in your car to leave. The worship and teachings are clearly under the power of the holy spirit and there is a peaceful presence throughout the services.

This was my first visit to their food bank. EVERYTHING and EVERYONE was no less than 100% perfect. The volunteers made me feel welcome and at ease. I sat and ate dinner with what felt like my family. The groceries were top notch and the environment was friendly and warming.

We visited today for the first time. Everyone was so welcoming, kind, and answered all of our questions. On the way home my 8 year old said "I love that church so much! When do we get to go back?" and I think that says everything it needs to about the environment.

Our family joined Hope Point Church 5 years ago and we’ve never looked back. The pastors are amazing and preach from the Bible. This is our home and our church is our family. Our kids 16, 13, & 5 and the youth pastors pour into our children. They WANT to be here every Sunday and Wednesday. They don’t miss.

Love this church! My husband and I started attending about 2 months ago, and we instantly felt welcome the second we entered the door. Pastor Stells is very personable, he makes it a point to talk to the church's members and guests each Sunday! The worship team is so talented, and the Pastor is an incredible and his messages stick with you throughout the week!!
Love this church. LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT IT! Come visit! You will not be disappointed!

I was a stranger to everyone when I walked in. Sure I felt uncomfortable. But being shy, I avoided as much interaction as possible. Still, some of the people hugged me and made me feel apart of this church without even knowing a thing about me. The service was powerful! The people are loving and inspiring. I'm going back this coming Sunday. And will be participating in this church. And it's not like me to yearn for church. I listen to past sermons when I can. And they have brought me to tears. Try this church if you feel you need a new home!

I grew up in House of prayer and even went to it's school back in the day, Heritage Christian Academy. Even though alot has changed, the same great people are there and the fellowship is real. I love being able to visit. This place is ANOINTED! You can feel the love of God in this place.

This is a fantastic church with live music every Sunday. Child care ran by fully vetted volunteers, Coffee bar, free food, wonderful pastoral staff. It's a non denominational church with a focus on God's word and community. The congregation is diverse and welcoming. There are so many connect groups that I'm sure there's one for you.

I started here as a teenager when we were tiny and in Colonial Heights back in 1977. I was Pastor Steve Stells first teenager. I was married here had my children here. We were here 26 years and helped them plant a church oin another area where we stayed 18 years, then God spoke to us and said it was time to go home. This church practices what they preach. They care deep and they love deep. They preach The Word. The worship music is just that worship music its not to entertain you. SO many good connect groups to help you make friends quickly. Excellent kids and teen ministry. And from Larry in the parking lot, to Karen at the door, to Becky finding time to connect to y ou will love it here. Pastors Steve the founding Pastor has passed this on to his son Pastor Jonathan who hears from God and has a heart to see people saved and to help you be all you can be ! Come Home !!!

Best church in the area! The praise and worship leaders are excellent. The lead Pastors Jonathon & Ami Stells and the founding Pastor Steve Stells know the Word and deliver quality messages inline with the Word of God. They hear from the Holy Spirit and don't mind adjusting a sermon when the Holy Spirit of God puts something on their hearts. The people here are real and down to earth. It is a breath of fresh air to be a part of this church. My wife and I have seen our children grow each Sunday as they are filled with love and the word of God and fellowship with other children. We have benefited greatly as well from timely messages that are inspired by the Holy Spirit. God answered our prayers. We have been to many churches over the last 6 years, several of them good, but we didn't settle for just good. We wanted the best that God had for us, and we found it, even if it is over 40 minutes from our home. Praise God! Come visit. *Don't be fooled, the lead Pastor may be young (late 30s), but he can preach with the best of them and actually knows the word better than many seasoned preachers out there. His parents, the founding Pastors, are deep wells of the Word! -Well trained!
