Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great place to stop during road trips. The food was fulfilling and heartwarming. This could be classified as the true country experience. Maybe.

The service was quick and simple. Had a great time.

I recommend the roast beef dish.

This is an excellent cracker barrel. The manager Cliff is really great and so is Ethel she's been working at this cracker barrel for 24 years now she's really friendly and very helpful. Quite a while ago here I was with my dad and one of his best friends he slipped down and Ethel along with me and my dad she was strong enough to help us lift him back up. She's one of the most friendliest host's we've run into when we're at restaurants. I've never had a bad meal at this cracker barrel. I definitely recommend this cracker barrel if you live in the area or traveling through and want to eat somewhere. I always look forward to dining when I'm at this cracker barrel because I know I'll get excellent service and hospitality.

Very nice restaurant. Staff was courteous and professional and the food was great. They were fast and very accommodating. The holiday choices were a very nice touch. Allison our server was great. “Alikah “ in the retail store was very friendly to our children. The entire staff is excellent. Kudos to the management and HR department for selecting a well rounded crew.

At the Chester location you always have to wait 10 to 20 minutes to be seated I got there at 7pm and was seated within 10 minutes, food was served and I was out by 7:42pm. That's good timing and the food was delicious and worth the little wait time to be seated. I grew up in the country so my favorite foods are biscuits, fried apples and chicken. I dined in, there was a cozy atmosphere and the server had a pleasant attitude. As I waited to be seated I took the opportunity to check out the beautiful displays.

Great stop off the highway. Had a lovely lunch. Wait was just 5 minutes. I had the Sunday special of boneless fried chicken. My two sides were the delicious hash brown casserole and Mac and cheese. Really loved the peach iced tea. Definitely enjoyed ourselves.

Cracker Barrel Old Country Restaurant is one of the best restaurants around. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner. They have a variety of foods to choose from. They also have dessert. They're located in Chesterfield off of the interstate. The restaurant is very clean and the waitresses are very helpful. The prices are reasonable and the food is excellent. The place is always packed and you usually have to wait in a line to get served. I highly recommend Cracker Barrel. I give them five stars.

Best service of any Cracker Barrel, ever. We were very satisfied to stop in during a long road trip! Our server (Alice maybe?) was amazing. She’s totally on top of things and it is appreciated.

I visit Cracker Barrel at least once per week to have the Mommas Pancake Breakfast. I love the food. My waiter was Gregory and he was absolutely awesome. I mean he was very considerate, anticipated my needs and didn't forget anything. He was great! The manager was also great! She actually stopped by my table to make sure everything was ok. The customer service at this Cracker Barrel is top tier. I will definitely be back.

I was craving mashed potatoes and gravy and was not disappointed.
I ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The corn bread came out first and I dug into it with butter. Very delicious!! The portion was enough to take home for a second meal. I ordered another meal for $5 which wasn’t bad for the price. This is a must visit for a good meal.

Food was delicious as usual (Momma’s Breakfast). The bacon was too thick but still tasty. Our waitress was very attentive and sweet. We even enjoyed a little shopping on the way out. Always a good visit at Cracker Barrel.

The food is pretty good to me for breakfast, I've not had any other meal here besides breakfast.
It is reasonably priced. The old country store part is so cute it gets me every time.
It is fall here now, so they light the fire place & after a long night shift I love to come early in the morning. Set at a table in front of the fire place and enjoy my favorite breakfast before going home and getting some rest. Do give them a try.

A cracker barrel that lives up to its name. The mobile pay feature is quite nice and lets you skip the line.

we've been to over 25 locations nationwide, and am glad to say that this one meets expectations like every other one had. Breakfast is our go-to at CB... We love the "old time feel" that you get once you walk in the door... the service and food has been uniformly excellent from coast to coast, and this place kept up the good standards set by the others.

This Cracker Barrel is one of the best I have ever eaten at. The sitting area was clean and had a warm feeling. The service was outstanding. The drink order was served fast and the food order was extremely quick to come out. The service was great and they never let a cup go empty. They were quick to clear the empty dishes out of the way. The food was done just right. The country store was clean and neat.

We were pleasantly surprised with the wonderful dinner we had. It was like 15-20 years ago, mostly all Cracker Barrel restaurants had this high quality of food and service. We have eaten at several different locations along the East coast over the past year and this I'm sure is what every restaurant should strive to be. We each had meatloaf with different sides and all was served hot and delicious. Our waitress was excellent, attentive but not hovering, and never did our glasses go empty. I can't believe the experiences others have complained about, but ours was A+.

Gregory was a delight! He was in great spirits, gave good recommendations, made sure we were taken care of with refills, and kept us updated on the food coming out. He made the whole night! Love this Cracker Barrel.

Like many restaurants since the pandemic, everyone is shortstaffed. The wait for our food was about 45 minutes when ordinarily it takes 15 minutes, tops. We were patient as we are understanding human beings. Our server thanked us for our patience, the food was plentiful and tasty as always.

Our return trip today and it was much improved!

Hello! Just got back from eating here again! Was surprised there wasn’t more customers during a Saturday afternoon. When we arrived we were seated quickly: drinks, utensils, condiments and food order was done promptly. Food was out fast, and our server Ms. Tyler was very polite, and kind. Ordered the Country Boy breakfast, and got steak with my eggs. Ordered the steak medium and the eggs over medium. Steak was a nice size cut, and was cooked well, but I usually order my steak medium at restaurants mainly because it usually always comes out closer to medium rare. Which was true with my steak this time. My over medium eggs where more on the softer side and were quite runny. Still very yummy as I placed my grits to soak up the juices. The biscuits and gravy were fantastic, and I was quite surprised with how good it was even after eating everything else. Ms. Tyler was very attentive by replacing drinks, and bringing a to-go box.

Good as always. I only gave four stars on food because something with the cornbread muffins recipe has changed. They used to be delicious…like a piece of cake almost and now there’s no sweetness to them anymore.

Love this restaurant! Best deals & delicious food, been there many, many times and always left happy! Never once was I disappointed like with some other restaurants.
