DoubleTree by Hilton Richmond - Midlothian

Stayed here recently while in the area for a weekend sports tournament. The hotel was conveniently located near plenty of restaurants and stores. Rooms were clean and updated. The pool and gym were both nice. The bar area as well as the restaurant were good. The only "complaint/issue" was the roof leaking in the lobby while we were seated. Overall, the stay was pleasant and staff were polite. The cookies at check-in were a delight.

We had the pleasure of staying at this Hilton Hotel last month for a special event. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The room could use a few minor updates. We had a very nice weekend here. All the food places and shopping centers are minutes away. They had plenty of parking for the guest. I will definitely stay at this hotel again.

Wish that coffee was available 24hrs in the lobby and continental breakfast would have been nice for the business traveler. Had a nice TV in room.

Everything about our 2night stay was awesome! The whole staff was friendly and quick, the food and drink was good, the hotel is animal friendly so that was great fun :) And the layout/flow is better than most hotels, we will definitely be back next year

My family stayed here as a result of our family being at the Chippenham Hospital. Terry and Amy Allen were exceptional. We live 3 hours away and had to get rooms in the middle of the night. Over the course of 6 days we stayed here and they assisted us In every way possible. The rooms were clean and the staff was so friendly. Highly recommended.

The hotel was awesome last ce the doubletree brand.. Mainly the cookies. The front desk staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

We went there for the Tattoo and Arts Festival. The restaurant and building support staff were amazing ! How they kept up (the restaurant staff apparently working triple shifts) were unbelievable. Rooms and halls are beaut and perfect for the event, but the people were outstanding !
They were the nicest of people I've met anywhere and continued to be the entire packed weekend. Even after only an hour or two, at best three, off.
Five stars doesn't do those ladies justice.
Please note: if you are one of those people that require fresh towels (assuming you use the four they give you) and turn down service everyday I believe you need to request it. We are the type of people that believe they can wait three days and do it when we leave. We don't trash rooms and we police our own trash.
I have no doubt the staff can handle high maintenance customers.
If I had to find a complaint it was the room could use an on hand extra blanket if you are married to an overnight blanket bandit. No one wants to call the desk at 4am.....
The seventh floor room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The bar and bartenders, sitting area with sports on TV (called the atrium), all beautiful, BUT THE RESTAURANT STAFF !!! AMAZING !!!

I was here for a conference and I really hope we use this hotel again! The staff was outstanding! Anything we needed, they took care of it. The food was divine, especially the roast beef with mushrooms and gravy. The breakfast buffet was always well stocked with fresh, yummy, piping hot food. The space was perfect - no rushing across the hotel for the next session. It was all centrally located. And the rooms were nice and clean.

Stayed in handicapped room shower head did not work. Other than that, the room was accessible and clean.

Clean rooms and quiet atmosphere. The front desk team members were very accommodating when I had an issue. Jack responded immediately, had a solution, and with a smile.

I stayed there for work. Nice building, lobby, and layout. Building is aging, but this is expected for a building that is not brand new. Room was clean and bed comfy.
Russell at the front desk is just delightful! He was helpful, friendly, welcoming and just made my night better with his kind demeanor.

One of the best hotels primarily because of the staff, cleanliness and just overall quality of the services. Staff was really kind, we missed our breakfast and they were so kind they got us a muffin and orange juice for both our kids and helped us multiple times throughout our stay.

Great hotel! The rooms were ver clean and spacious. If the census is low for the hotel they don’t do the buffet for breakfast, but you can still order off of the menu. Dinner at the restaurant was ok. The salmon lacked flavor, but the chicken wings were delicious! I would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here 2 weekends in a row. The BEST part of my stay was Brandy at the bar on Thursday night. She was attentive, great personality, and the best long island iced tea I've ever had! Will come back just to see the best bartender on the East Coast!

The location is great, accessible to stores and restaurants. The rooms are clean and the staff were very accommodating. Jas welcomed me when I arrived from a long drive, and she was great.

The folks who worked reception were very nice. I even learned a Doubletree cookie fun fact as I was checking out. The food was also good along with the lady behind the bar. It was just an all around very pleasant experience. Thanks all!!!

This hotel stay was fantastic! The gentleman at the front desk could tell I was in a daze from a long drive and put in extra effort to be personable (I think his name was Winston?). When I arrived in my room, there was a card with my name, and a gift bag with snacks and drinks. I loved the extra touch to make me feel welcomed. Clean room, plenty of parking, just overall a great stay.
