Hampton Inn Richmond-South

We had a great experience. The front desk service was superb. I thought I was at a 5 start resort. A huge shout out to Erica and Maya for the excellent welcome. They went above and beyond for us. We will definitely stay there again. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was great , and again the service was outstanding. They even remembered my wife's name Aurelia. If I can give 100 stars, I would. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS VERY ATTENTIVE TO THE NEEDS OF THEIR GUESTS. MS. ERICKA KUDOS TO YOU. I THINK EVERYONE ON THE STAFF SHOULD GET A BONUS!!!. ROOMS WERE SPARKLING CLEAN AND SMELLED FRESH. THE FIRST MORNING, THE BREAKFAST WAS DELICIOUS, BUT, THE SECOND MORNING THERE WAS NO EGGS FOR BREAKFAST, ONLY BACON AND SAUSAGE. I WAS TOLD BY THE BREAKFAST ATTENDANT ( WHOM I REALLY COULDN'T UNDERSTAND SO WELL DUE TO THE LANGUAGE BARRIER , IF I WANTED EGGS BASICALLY ID HAVE TO DO WITHOUT. BUT OTHER THAN THAT LITTLE HICCUP... AWESOME!!!

It has been a long time since my wife and I had a stellar hotel experience. Check in was fast and efficient. Check in staff was upbeat and friendly. The hotel and our room was very clean. The breakfast was much better than what we normally see. Most of all, all the staff members we encountered were friendly and caring. They added to our positive experience.

I have to start out by talking about the amazing staff at this hotel. Every single person who works here greeted you with a friendly hello and always asked if you needed anything. We had a team block at the hotel and they gave every room a welcome bag with Gatorade water and snacks. They were the most accommodating hotel staff ever and I would stay here again and again! The hotel itself was spectacularly clean. The rooms were very comfortable and clean and the housekeeping staff did a great job every day. (Even on the days I said we didn't need housekeeping, they left me towels and garbage bags a note ❤

The staff here is excellent, caring, and go way beyond the normal call of duty. I was in town for an event and mistakenly booked the wrong hotel. Upon speaking with Nicholas and Erica, they were able to get my reservation refunded so that I was able to book the correct Hampton location and be with the rest of my team. I had prior obligations and therefore, had to stay at a different location. However, if I am ever in town again, I will definitely stay at this location and recommend others do so as well. Thank you very much guys!!!

We found this place by accident on a family road trip and will def stay again for future trips. The rooms were very clean and modern. The staff was all very friendly. The breakfast options were great - even for kids with multiple food allergies. Plus - it's next to a Starbucks lol.

Erica and Nicholas have been so helpful every time I've been here.
I haven't stayed in many Hampton's before that I can recall of, that will probably change. I've definitely bookmarked this one in particular for the future.

This was one of the best hotel stays I have had in sometime. The staff was tremendously kind and helpful. The room and hotel was very clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was amazing.

I had a wonderful stay there at the Hampton inn, I want to say thank you so much for Ciara being such an amazing host and just overall caring about the guest at her hotel, she also let us know Maisha was responsible for the renovations to this property and we wanted to let you all know that it was so amazing and that Ciara even let us know where we could eat! The food at Capital ale House was so good and we will most definitely be coming back because of Ciara we think her last name is Short, for being perfect for this job, it would be amazing to have more front desk people like her!!!

Excellent customer service. Front desk employee: Ciara was pleasant and helpful. Close to many shops. Free breakfast in the morning, fitness center and pool.

Everything was great! The service was amazing. The only 2 complaints I have is; the air conditioning and the pool. The AC in the room is not central and the window unit can make the room moist. I don't believe there is AC in the hallways because they were HOT. The pool is not heated so be prepared for it to be cold no matter the temp outside.

I was traveling for worked and stayed at this location because it was dog friendly and close to where I was working.

The facility and the rooms were modern and clean.

The staff were great; very friendly and helpful. Janet in particular was very helpful when I wanted some peanut butter for my dog.

I would definitely stay here again.

I LOVE this little hotel. It's old and not the newest amenities but the staff here are amazing!! They're doing my laundry for me bc the guest laundry had a fire and is closed right now. The buffet is amazing! The women that run it are great! I'll ask for this place every time I have to travel to the Richmond area!

I enjoyed my stay here. Staff was full of energy and friendly. Nick and Ciara were great! Rooms were clean and ready to go. Just what I needed.

Wheelchair accessible it wasn't a roll n showers like I asked had a bench

The rooms are in need of an upgrade, but overall, I was satisfied with my room and the great customer service from Nay at the front desk and from staff member Andrew. They both made me feel welcomed and treated me well. Highly recommend this location. The entire staff here are extremely professional.

The staff are so kind and helpful! Sierra helped me with a very last minute change that I truly appreciate. Will definitely stay here on my next trip through Richmond!

Had a nice 3 days stay here at the hotel.
The staff went out of their way to get me gluten free cereal as they didn't have the option. Thank you Trese and Ashanti! It ment alot.

Me and my husband had a wonderful time here! We checked in and they treated us like royalty! Everything was clean and sanitized. I'm so glad that I'm a Hilton Honors Member...Highly Recommended!!!

It was my second stay there and it was as good as the first. Very friendly front desk staff and all other staff I passed in the halls. Would recommend this to anyone heading north or south on 95 in Richmond.
