This is a wonderful little place. We were looking for a late breakfast or early lunch and got both. The shop was very cool, filled with lots of things from local artists. The restaurant was excellent! Not what we expected in a small town with not a lot around. The staff was friendly and the service was great. The food was excellent as well! I had the steak omelet and my wife had the steak soup and a salad. It's very cool they source everything locally. Don't know if we will ever be traveling through this part of the country again, but if we are we will stop in.

Maybe the best breakfast I have had in my 55 years. Seriously! I drive a truck and walked over from the Love's and found this gem. Beautifully simple restaurant with 5 star quality of ingredients paired with a creative menu that I would happily eat everyday. This restaurant and its staff would be at home in any major city but then, you would never get a table. I am marking that Love's on my gps so I can stop here everytime down 81

My husband and I stopped in to check out the little gift shop and ended up wandering into the restaurant attached to it. We felt obligated to order something as we were promptly seated. We had just had breakfast so we weren't that hungry but on the recommendation of the waitress we ordered the Blackberry Pie with vanilla ice cream.
Oh. My. Gosh! It was DELICIOUS! Best decision ever!
It's not the prettiest picture but it's definitely the yummiest blackberry pie I've ever had!

A diamond of a find 2 minutes off Route 81. Fab farm to table restaurant using only produce and quality meats, fish from a 50 mile radius. Daily menu changes. Delicious scallop and trout chowder and their burgers are to die for. American - but not that type of cheese of course! With bacon, onion, lettuce and aioli. And the Black & Bleu - with fab blue cheese. Delicious. Serves breakfast too, southern grits & sausage & gravy. A must stop place with a charming store attached selling local artisan wares and local foods. Barbara kingsolver fans are in for a nice surprise with her books for sale here and the knowledge that she owns the restaurant and store. What a gift to the Meadowville community & environs.

Outstanding food and service. Sunday brunch was creative and very flavorful. Sausage balls on sweet potato cake was unique and tasty. Everything was super fresh.

Farm to table dining, so delicious and nourishing. We enjoyed shopping at the store next door, too. A great opportunity to support the hard work of local family farms.

We were allowed to try the grapes growing above our table, which was really cool. They were delicious and didn’t taste like the ones in the store. The shop was nice and had a lot of local stuff. The food was local and just a really great lunch, and it’s super close to the interstate. Can’t complain!

This place has been a favorite of mine for years. Locally sourced food, creative and delicious dishes, a store stuffed with locally made music, art, and crafts, what more could you want?

Get the goat cheese dip. Whether hot from the kitchen, or from the fridge in the shop. It's one of the best things I've ever eaten.

Pictured was a pumpkin cheesecake from the other day. Just the right amount of creamy and rich.

Also ate the Korean bbq rice bowl. Equally delicious!

I was a bit skeptical based on my number of cars in the parking lot theory... but this is a great place if you want organic farm to table food that really taste good. Tour of farm was spectacular!

Come on everyone. Get off I-81 and give Harvest Table a try! Don' settle for the nasty fast food right off the exit. My wife and I stopped here for lunch yesterday after a visit to a nearby greenhouse. She had the chicken salad sandwich and I had the All American Burger. We both had a generous portion of roasted potatoes. Both were very good, fresh and tasty. My burger was huge. I felt like I needed to unhinge my jaw so I could take the first bite! Our server Mike was excellent! Read the reviews here. The folks who gave Harvest Table less than four stars are simply food snobs.

Worth the stop. Check out the old 1906 train station next-door now turned Arts Center.

Stopped by during our road trip for lunch. The location was extremely convenient for us as it's right off the I81.
I had carrot ginger soup (the soup of the day) and house salad. Both were delicious and fresh. My husband liked his pimento sandwich as well. We shared a carrot cake which was one of the best carrot cakes I've had in my life. It was a bit pricey, $9, but I think it's because the portion was huge and definitely too big for one person.
There is a cute little shop attached to the restaurant. It was interesting and fun to look around as well.
Overall, recommend this place.

Lovely place with welcoming staff. I had made an online reservation, but we got there before our time and was promptly seated in an area of our choice. We chose the side patio. You could tell it was early spring, but nevertheless, it was quit lovely. Along side the patio was a garden with growing herbs, carrots, and such. An aged grape vine was beginning to wake up from it winter break. Bubble bees were just buzzing around and a bird was tending to its nest. The sun was shining and temperatures were quit pleasant.

We were greeting with a very personable waiter that was very knowledgeable and friendly. The service he provided was prompt, thorough and professional.

We had gotten the hamburger with a side salad and chips, as well as ice tea and water. Everything was delightful and fresh. The flavors were blended well that made for a joyful experience.

Once we were finished eating, we made way to the attached store. The store supports local and surrounding artist and crafters.

Best restaurant experience of the whole road trip. Over the past couple of weeks my family and I have been to many restaurants on our road trip from Mississippi to Washington DC stopping numerous places in between and not one of those restaurants hold a candle to Harvest Table. I've heard that they were going to be closing the doors to this place soon that will be a tragic loss to the culinary world.

The food is so delicious and fresh. New dishes are always being added to the menus. We were happy that they have a few vegetarian options. Have you ever seen a persons face who is totally 💯 % enjoying the taste of a dish? Well I see that look often their lol! We will be bringing our entire family and guests! It’s so nice to have a place that offers home cooking instead of commercial restaurants finally!

A lovely walk to this restaurant from Love's. Very tasty food and kindness shown for any allergy. Totally fresh and delicious. Thank you Harvest Table, you help show the world how great local can be! You can't imagine how excited I was at discovering that this restaurant is owned by the Barbara Kingsolver family. I am a huge fan of her work. I'm a Tucson resident traveling with my husband in search of a new home.
