Rite Aid

THE BEST pharmacy Richmond has to offer. The staff take their jobs very seriously and are extremely helpful and courteous. I have travelled across town just to get my meds picked up from here. The store is always clean and all customer service people are diverse, kind & conversational. The service here is so good I'm afraid to try anywhere else in the city. As long as I live in Richmond this is my go to spot

All of the employees recognize my family. We have used rite aid exclusively, for years, now. Pharmacy personnel are extremely familiar with us & have an answer, or find the answer to every question we have. They are never too busy to assist us over the phone. Ms Irene Ofori, especially (pharmacist ) , will go out of her way, above & beyond her duties, to ensure we have medications IN A TIMELY MANNER. We love our rite aid, and hope they will always b around to serve our needs!

this is far from being a luxury pharmacy, but it is much better than Lombardy Kroger. For one, they actually respond to the automated service on the phone. For two, they contact my Dr for a renewal if it says I have no refills remaining (can't say the same for Lombardy Kroger). I moved my prescriptions over to lombardy kroger about a year ago since it is closer to me, but I am starting to regret that. Is this the safest area? No. Are the lines short at around 7pm? No. Do the pharmacists always act like they're in a rush? Definitely... but when I enter the RX# over the phone, the Pharmacy takes appropriate action and to provide me with my prescription and texts me when it's ready, which is all I really ask for. The pharmacists work to control what they can, so I was a satisfied customer.

I've been going to this pharmacy for several years to the point where they enjoy seeing my older daughter regularly for her flu (and now covid) shot. One of the pharmacists was expecting at the same time as me last year so she really helped me figure out what to take for morning sickness and how to break the pills up since it was OTC meds. The pharmacists have always been extremely friendly and personable over the years. My only critique is I would like to see this store remodeled like the other Rite Aid stores. It's very dated. I dont know if this store is independent or corporately owned, but I can't help but wonder if this store is not upgraded because it's in a high minority area. I dont know but it does make me wonder.

Has a weight and blood pressure monitor device that can be used on our own. Items stacked neatly.
