Hertz Car Rental - Jacksonville - North Orange Park Hle

I had an unexpected vehicle issue yesterday and had to leave my car at the dealership next door for repairs. My service advisor at the dealership recommended Hertz as an alternative until my warranty protection was approved. It was a last-minute issue with my primary car that pretty much left me stranded. I called and asked if they had anything I could drive home, and they said they unfortunately could not accommodate. It makes sense, especially due to the proximity of many car dealerships, that they would not have something available at 4:30 on a Wednesday.

The two associates working the evening of March 27th were more than accommodating… they allowed me to sit and wait for an hour to see if they had a return. They did have a car available, but unfortunately it was not ever cleared from regular maintenance (oil change) so it had to stay in the lot.

I knew I was pressing my chances, but the gentleman working the desk made over 15 phone calls just to try and get me in a car. It was unsuccessful, but he stayed 1.5 hours after his shift ended to try and assist me. Kudos to this employee; I understand logistical challenges but he handled it wonderfully. His associate was especially as friendly, a customer showed up with a voucher to get a car from an alternative dealership, but nothing was available. She drove her to her destination on her own time. It may not be protocol, but THAT is great service.

I wish I could name drop, but I am terrible with names. I hope Hertz recognizes these employees :)

If you need to drive that extra mile, do it. The experience is well worth it. I was able to have the car I wanted while mine was in shop without much hassle. Communication is key to good experience and they provide just that. Stephanie took that extra mile when I needed it the most. Definitely well worth it.

My first experience renting a car. I was redirected by another website to a great deal from Hertz at this location.
The day came when I went to their office to pick up my rental. I was greeted by Jonathan who was personable and efficient. However, I was not excited about the rental I was getting when he showed it to me - it wasn't as big. I kindly asked if I could upgrade. He showed me a bigger SUV, but my eye caught a Jeep Wrangler Sahara instead. I asked if I may rent the Jeep if it's available. Fortunately for me it was and Jonathan went the extra mile to get me into the Jeep. There was an extra daily fee for the upgrade which I was fine with. After a quick instruction of the various features of the Jeep, courtesy of Jonathan, I was ready and on my way.
Returning the rental was an easy process; I decided to return the Jeep a day early and the office was still closed. All I had to do was park the vehicle, lock it, and drop the keys into the lockbox.
Great service! I will happily rent from Hertz again.

Best car rental experience I have ever had. Sal and Demola went above and beyond to get our rental. Their customer service is absolutely stellar and the atmosphere in there was inviting and friendly. I’ll only be renting from here for now on!

Today, I returned my rental car (BMW) and I was working with time to pick up my Mercedes Benz. Mr. Demola Ogunmola was my champion. He went the extra mile for me and I will never forget it. Of all the Hertz rental places in Jack, North Blanding is my favorite! The guy who works there is very helpful, asks if I have any questions about my vehicle and cleans the cars prior to your arrival.

My vehicle was in for warranty repairs & Hertz Rental was the company that we used for a courtesy vehicle while the repair shop has ours- My Experience was a Positive One- They Were Very Quick- Very Professional & Friendly:

The customer service was above and beyond . I also got the van I wanted . I just want to let the gentleman who assisted me know he has awesome sauce and its hard to get good customer service this days .
