Basilico Ristorante -

Came in from a cruise headed back to the Midwest and decided to stop and dine at Basilico. To be truthful it was the best food we had since getting to Miami and even on the cruise. Hadn't had that quality of food in a long time. Even my wife agreed! It is a small quaint place but packs an enormous punch. Staff was friendly and service very good!

Food is amazing, attention it's over the top, always looking forward to return. Valentine's day was especial. No time for pictures since we were enjoying the food and the ambient so much we forgot to take pictures or even pull out the phone. Amazing

Found via Google Maps. Very happy to have stopped in for lunch! I'm Pescaterian so the guy behind the bar was very helpful and recommended the Mahi Mahi lunch special! Soup or salad were the side choices, I chose soup which was very good! Had a glass of Moscato which was 🤌🏾! 😌 Would definitely recommend and sotp back by. I will say, I like my bread a little more firm. It soaked the soup up like a sponge and made it wet. Very hard on the outside of the bread though. I will ask if there's a different kind of bread that can be paired besides the bread they put on the tables. Overall, great experience. The Mahi Mahi was juicy! Yes! Veggies, 💞! I went here for lunch. I ordered the salmon with extra vegetables. I like it when I can order a more paleo type meal. But I also ordered the portabella mushroom pictured below with the added vegetables. It came with a side salad and a cup of soup. The salmon was filling. I had to eat the rest of it for left overs. The side salad , the soup and the mushroom were all good. I like the more plant and mushroom dishes. I do recommend

Everything was delish! They make everything from scratch, and it tastes so good. Get the bolognese sauce...you will love it.

Good Italian food, not just pasta and pizza. A number of seafood dishes. The cod was very good, as was the lack of lamb and veal scaloppini.

The best Restaurant to have a business lunch in the Miami Cargo business area. Highly recommend the tricolor fettuccine with lobster sauce and shrimp 🦐. For dessert the Catalana cream or a delicious Tiramisu. Excellent services!! Highly recommend this place.

Consistently delicious. The ravioli with pear and gorgonzola is a Favorite, actually all the pastas are wonderful. As are the specials, like the tuna appetizer, or the branzino entree. We've always had a good meal, dine-in or take out. Highly recommend.

We have been coming to Basilico for years, the food, atmosphere and service is outstanding ! Lunch or diner it never desapoints! Prices super reasonable .

The food was so fresh and delicious. Great wine list. My favorite dish was the octopus and the pumpkin ravioli. I can't wait to go back!

Cozy but great Italian restaurant that's definitely a local joint. Food is always fresh and the always have a seafood, pasta, and steak special each night. Wine list is decent and not over priced. Staff is very kind and luckily they knew the family I went with so it made it even more fun. The kitchen cooked up a spicy shrimp and scallop pasta for me which was fantastic and I definitely recommend the black pasta too, all of which are made by hand. Fish of our day was mahi mahi and the black pepper crust added a great flavor to it and the steak was good as usual.

We've come to Basilico for over 15 years and have never been disappointed, that in itself is remarkable. Last night we wanted to eat at their original location near the airport and were lucky to find a table, it was packed at 10pm and people kept coming in. The grilled octopus was delicious and my plate of gnocchi was superb.
